Interior has been redone and is beautiful and clean.

This place was renovated recently and looks beautiful and so welcoming inside. The food was very good where we even asked for seconds. The staff is very attentive and personable. We will be coming back!

Everything inside was nice and upgraded. Very clean. Food was bomb & they were very fast as well didn't take much to get our food. For drinks we had a coke, horchata and michelada overall we paid around $80/90 can't remember.

I ate a burrito mojado. I have not yet had something better than Panchi's restaurant! The wet burrito is exceptional and the aguachiles. El burritos mojado esta chingon!! Y no se diga los aguachiles! Tienen que probarlo!

Amazing food, amazing service and it is well kept and very clean. They took my order right away and the food was on my table quickly, I devoured the food because of the amazing taste, the servers were constantly checking up on me and making sure I was okay and offering help

I need to start off by saying THIS IS PLACE IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP as of 2024, disregard old yelp reviews!!! New place is called Panchi's Restaurant!!! The change this place much needed, if you're in paramount or surrounding areas I encourage you to come try their delicious food! If you're familiar with Sinaloa style recipes then you will absolutely love it! It feels like you're eating at home. All food is always fresh, and same great taste. The menu has so many variations you can't go wrong with any! Awesome service by staff & great family style ambiance. Restaurant is currently getting a revamp but they are still open for business.

Hot Salsa is located on Garfield and Rosecrans in the City of Paramount. Next door to Arco and near many businesses. Clean and beautiful inside and out, excellent service, delicious tacos, reasonable prices. Parking can be a pain at certain times. Cost efficient place to take a date or to come eat after work. A diamond in the rough you should not overlook.

Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

One visit we waited over 40 minutes without being acknowledged, another time our order came out wrong, and another time the food arrived cold like it had been sitting for quite a while. Because of that, I honestly did not want to come back tonight. But I was craving a good steak, and after my husband suggested giving 908 another try, I reluctantly agreed. I noticed the filet mignon on the menu paired with broccolini and decided to go for it. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt completely different. The hostess was warm and welcoming and seated us immediately. A young man came over right away with waters and took our drink order, which already surprised us in the best way. Then Alex S came to our table, and he truly made the night exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful in making sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. I mentioned that I didn't want a large piece of butter melting over the steak, and he happily accommodated that request. He even checked on the exact ounce size of the filet for me, which I appreciated. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, and honestly, they were the best Brussels sprouts we've ever had. Perfectly cooked, not drowning in sauce, and absolutely packed with flavor. My 8 oz filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare, exactly as ordered. The broccolini was crisp, fresh, and not overly oily. Everything tasted thoughtful, balanced, and worth every dollar. Most importantly, Alex S delivered spectacular service from start to finish. We were genuinely shocked to learn this was his first night shift because he handled the dining room with professionalism, warmth, and confidence far beyond what we expected. Thank you, Alex S, for completely changing our impression of 908. Tonight's experience was excellent, and for the first time, we are actually excited to come back. Thanks again, Jed Dornoff

The ambiance is bright and refreshing, restrooms clean, and plenty of parking in lot(formly the Sizzler). I happen to attend on a Monday evening for bingo it was really fun! Now I ordered a pastrami sandwich, and when I tell you it was disgusting, it was awful, the meat was fried to a crisp,I thought it would be steamed pastrami meat(my bad)! It also came with grilled onions,if you happen to go for onions on your pastrami sandwich. I chose sweet potato fries, which tasted like they were cooked in meat grease! Just horrible! I will never order that again! Will I return and try other items from the menu, yes, the pastrami sandwich just isn't the right choice for me, you may like it lol! Unfortunately, I will not be returning , as both food but especially service were beyond disappointing. As I walk in I'm immediately hit with the odor of fryers in desperate need of an oil change. Still, I kept a positive expectation, and nothing about my attitude warranted the lack of effort/attention I received from my young male server, who seemed like he had a million better things he'd rather be doing and I just felt like he considered himself too good to be dealing with the likes of me. If only the chicken sandwich were enough to make up for the overall experience. While I've had worse, I was left unsatisfied by the two rather anemic strips of chicken and less than desirable texture of the buns (frozen maybe?) Normally I don't write reviews , but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth overall, though slightly more metaphorically than literally. Will not be returning, save yourself some time and money better spent elsewhere (with some friendlier staff!)

Aragon House Cafe is located on the corner of Clark Ave and Rose St, across the street from the liquor store. It's a small location and can be easy to miss. They have a small lot behind them of about 3-6 spots so you may need to grab street parking. Walking up to the cafe, they have an open window for to-go orders and the front door right next to it. As I mentioned, it's small; with about 6-8 tables. We decided to go on a Sunday around 10:15am (they have Yelp Reservations but it was empty at the time we arrived). There is a single use gender neutral restroom near the back as well. Marisol, helped us as well as the rest of the tables. The space began to fill which I told her is always a good sign. We started off with two cafe de olla, which if you aren't familiar is Mexican coffee and if available get over plain black coffee. It was the right amount of sweetness and fresh. For food, we wanted something sweet and an egg dish and we couldn't decide. I mentioned all the pancake flavors looked good and Marisol said that they were able to do different flavors instead of one flavor for a stack so we decided with the Matcha and Coffee pancake. For our savory dish we went with their Chilaquiles and added chicken. The pancakes were delicious. They had height to them and weren't dense, but a nice fluffiness. Both served with fresh whipped cream, and one with a matcha sauce, the other a coffee saucse, and berries. The matcha pancake was light and had a mild matcha flavor, we added a little syrup to it but it was so good. My favorite was the coffee pancake; it had pronounced coffee flavor throughout, and the sauce made it even better, no syrup needed. The Chilauiles were delicious as well, we got our eggs scrambled so our was topped with it. The chips were tossed in a spicy red sauce but had their crispiness intact, chicken was cubed and not dry, the eggs were scrambled just right as well. We polished that plate. The food here was amazing, and Marisol was a delight in serving us. Check this out if you're ever in the Bellflower area. The food items we got were amazing, but I imagine, as Marisol mentioned to us, all of their food items are good. Will def be back!

The cafe itself has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly, so I definitely wanted to like it more than I did. Unfortunately, the food was pretty lackluster for the price and the hype. Nothing tasted terrible, but nothing really stood out either. What really threw us off was when my friend's omelette came out with what looked like a Kraft Singles slice melted on top. At a cafe trying to have a more elevated brunch vibe, that just felt cheap and disappointing. Overall, I still appreciate having places like this in the area and maybe we just caught them on an off day, but the food quality didn't really match the experience we were hoping for.

It's not your typical brunch spot, and I liked that it had a unique Mexican twist on everything. I ordered their chilaquiles and a coffee, and both were solid. The chilaquiles were flavorful, well-portioned, and had that perfect balance of crunch and sauce. You can tell they put thought into their dishes. The coffee paired really well and didn't feel like an afterthought like it does at some brunch spots. Service was friendly and the place had a good energy without feeling overwhelming. It does get busy, so I'd recommend going a little earlier if you want to avoid a wait. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you saw it on HeyLA. Great food, cool atmosphere, and a nice switch-up from the usual brunch spots. I'll be back to try more.

A friend raved about this place and we had it in our "must try" list so what can I say about it now…read morethat we have tried it? Well my best way to explain it is if you're a foodie and love to check out different places, this is probably a great spot, but if you're someone who is looking for convenience and just wants to eat, this is probably not the place. The food is pretty good. We live pretty far so it was kinda fun to take the drive. We are maybe in-betweeners (lol) sometimes foodies sometimes just convenience so since we had time and were looking to try a new spot we were ok with the inconveniences, like parking, wow, finding parking is challenging, and the wait... geez... the wait... if you come a little later like brunch and are super hungry bring a snack. It was just the 2 of us and we waited almost an hour to get seated and then we also waited a long time for our food to arrive. The place is not huge so it's understandable. So taking those things into consideration, and that the food was pretty sold, we really liked it, I give it a solid 4 star rating.
