The smell of the pizza was amazing. That garlic seasoning on the crust with a crunchy texture was great. Loved that the edges are slightly toasted sometimes I don't want a soft crust and this was it (my preference) I would say maybe some type of seasoning is needed for the chicken? But then again its pizza got to let the sauce do the talking ?? (my preference) but overall great meal everything was demolished. The combination of everything settled so well especially the pineapple (for my pineapple eaters) waited 20 minutes for my meal because it's hand made upon request. Overall quick service, great meal, and affordable for a local pizza joint and they have a movie playing as you wait for your food. See y'all soon and keep the work going!

Supreme pizza. The toppings overall were good, but the bread was very thin, and too crunchy for my taste. It was more like a flat bread.

The customer service is good and the order was ready in 20-25 minutes for a walk in. The pizza overall was good, except I didn't like that the bread was extremely thin and crunchy. I prefer a thicker layer and more on the fluffy side. They have outdoor sitting for dining. The inside is more for sitting and waiting for your order as there is not enough space. I will give this place another try, but next time I will ask for a thicker bread on my pizza.

Cold wings and fries, no flavor.

The pizza was stale, cold and appeared to be sitting there for a while. Service was not great arrived to pick up order and still had to wait 10 to 15. The establishment layout was weird. Wasn't sure if I was buying pizza or shoes. Where they ring you up was an utter mess. If I had to rate the food, I would give it a 2 out of 10.

Prologue: Hope, in a Cardboard Box There are few things purer than the hope that comes with ordering pizza. The anticipation as you track the delivery driver's little icon across the map, the subtle whiff of melted cheese as the box lands in your hands, the knowledge that for one brief evening, life might actually make sense. I had that hope. I nurtured it. I believed in it. And then this pizza arrived. At first glance, it seemed harmless--even beautiful. The cheese was glistening, the pepperoni looked confident, and the crust had that golden hue that whispers, "I am perfection." I smiled. Foolish, foolish me. Chapter I: The First Bite (or, The Shattering of Illusion) The knife cut through the crust with an unexpected crunch, like brittle parchment instead of soft bread. I told myself that was fine--crisp is good, right? I lifted the slice; it drooped weakly, a culinary flag of surrender. And then, the bite. Rubbery cheese. Grease masquerading as flavor. Sauce so bland it could have been tomato-flavored water. I paused, confused, as if my tongue had dialed the wrong number. I took another bite, hoping I'd misjudged it. I had not. The crust was a paradox: dry at the edge, soggy beneath, and seasoned with what can only be described as "the ghost of garlic." It crumbled in my hand, leaving a trail of sadness and oregano dust across my lap. Chapter II: The Five Stages of Pizza Grief Denial: "Maybe I got a bad slice." Anger: "Who made this? Do they hate joy?" Bargaining: "Maybe with enough hot sauce, I can fix it." Depression: "I've already eaten half. What have I become?" Acceptance: "I am living in a world where this pizza exists." Chapter III: The Sauce of Sorrow I decided to isolate the problem. Maybe it was just the sauce. A thin smear clung to the crust, pale and shy, as if afraid of flavor. I tasted it alone. It was... indescribable, but not in a good way. Imagine tomato paste mixed with apathy and just a hint of despair. I briefly wondered if it was a metaphor. Maybe the chef was making a statement about the emptiness of modern life. Maybe I was the problem. No--after a few more bites, I confirmed it: this sauce was a war crime. Chapter IV: The Cheese That Time Forgot The cheese deserves its own chapter because I'm fairly certain it's still haunting me. It stretched and tore like plastic, squeaking between my teeth as if protesting its own existence. It had the flavor of "generic dairy product #4," with the texture of yoga mat and the charm of regret. If mozzarella has a soul, this cheese had long since left its body. Chapter V: The Pepperoni of Despair Pepperoni is supposed to be the hero--the bold, spicy heart of the pizza. These were... not heroes. These were retired villains, tired and disillusioned. Some were burnt to a crisp, others pale and floppy, each slice a new personality crisis. I bit one. It tasted like it had fought valiantly once, long ago, but had since given up. Interlude: A Moment of Reflection I stared at the half-eaten pizza. Silence. Just me, the box, and the distant sound of my self-respect leaving the room. I tried to find something positive to say. "Well," I thought, "at least it's warm." Then I realized it wasn't. Chapter VI: The Aftermath About thirty minutes later, I wasn't hungry anymore--not because I was full, but because I'd lost the will to eat. My taste buds were emotionally exhausted. I leaned back, questioning everything. Was this really pizza? Or was it some avant-garde culinary experiment designed to teach me humility? I boxed up the leftovers out of habit, knowing full well they'd never see daylight again. Into the fridge they went--a cold tomb for my dashed hopes. Epilogue: Lessons from the Crust Days later, I still think about that pizza. Not fondly, but philosophically. It taught me things--about trust, about expectation, about the fragility of human optimism. Because sometimes, dear reader, what looks like a golden, cheesy circle of joy is really just disappointment disguised as dinner. Would I order it again? Only if I lost a bet. Would I recommend it? Only to my enemies. One star, because zero isn't an option.

My brother was very curious to try this new place down the street from us. We were made aware of it via a flyer placed on the windshield. First off, the eatery is located inside one of those check cashing/bill payment/loan centers. It would be easy to miss if not for the standing flag and new signs advertising the pizza. We ordered a whole pepperoni pizza, chili cheese fries, and mozzarella sticks. The gentleman who took the order informed us that their chili is made with chorizo, which was a selling point to my brother, who was on the fence about ordering the chili fries. As we waited, we watched UFC on the screens overhead. It's more of a takeout place, but there is a long table with four chairs and bottles of hot sauce for people who wish to eat there. The proprietor told us he was going to throw in a sample of their wings & fries, and asked us which flavor we wanted. We chose the lemon pepper. At home, we tried it all out. The pizza was reminiscent of Little Caesars. A decent amount of pepperoni and a crispy crust. The mozzarella sticks were decent. The chili cheese fries were very good. The chorizo chili was rich and meaty. The wings were surprisingly good...crispy, not rubbery like other pizza places. Pretty decent selection for a discount pizza place. We will likely be back.

I Wanted mexican food but no tacos. wanted to try something different. Boom!!!. South Gate pizza nailed it with the Mexican pizza.
