My Eureka burger was perfect. The best cheesecake I've ever had no joke. The service was great, it's a very modern ambiance, nice outdoor seating area great selection of beer cool bar top
Eureka! is such a comforting go-to spot for American food. They have solid burgers and great shareable bites. One of my favorite things about them is their "Hoppy Hour," offered daily from 3-6 PM and then from 9 PM-close. They have a great selection of bites at pretty budget-friendly prices, starting at just $4! Some of my go-to Hoppy Hour orders are the Half-Order Truffle Cheese Fries, Mac N' Cheese Balls, Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and Nachos with added steak. The Truffle Cheese Fries are always a must for me. The fries are covered in this decadent white truffle cheese sauce that is so savory and flavorful. The Mac N' Cheese Balls are perfectly crunchy on the outside and filled with beer cheese sauce and Fresno chiles with ranch on the side for dipping. The Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts are one of my favorites because they have this orange chile glaze that is super addicting. For something a little more filling, I like getting the Nachos and adding steak. They come with refried beans, chipotle sauce, crema, jalapeños, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. I always ask for extra onions, tomatoes and cilantro on the side. For the steak, we ordered it medium rare, and they cooked it perfectly! Now, let's talk about the burgers because every burger I've tried here has been solid. I've had the Barbecue Bacon Burger, which comes with shoestring onions, bacon, cheddar, and beer barbecue sauce. You really can't go wrong with this classic. My current top two favorites are the Fresno Fig Burger and the Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger. The Fresno Fig has this delicious sweet-and-savory combination with fig marmalade, melted goat cheese, and bacon. I love how the sweetness of the fig contrasts with the tanginess of the goat cheese and the savory/salty bacon. The Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger is definitely on the decadent side with bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onions, and horseradish mustard aioli. Everything comes together to make a rich and flavorful burger. It's one of the pricier burgers on the menu, but for me, it's worth every dime! For something on the lighter side, I've also tried the Cobb Salad with added grilled chicken and the Caesar Salad with seared salmon. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but it's always nice to get some greens in between all those burgers and fries. I'm always coming back to Eureka! for their "Hoppy Hour" and burgers. Eureka! continues to be such a reliable comfort-food spot.
I'm surprised I have never left a review for Eureka! I have been here plenty of times over the years: for happy hour with coworkers, dinners with friends, date nights with my boyfriend, and even just to grab drinks. I love their margaritas! The food and drinks have always been consistently good, and the service has never disappointed. On one recent visit, my coworker and I went to Eureka, and I fell in love with the fried pickles! That is something I normally don't ever order but I wanted to try something different. They were so good that my boyfriend and I came back a few days later just to order two baskets before heading home! Like I mentioned previously, I never had a bad experience here. The food is consistently good, the drinks are even better, and the service is always on point. Eureka is definitely one of my go-to spots, and I will absolutely keep coming back.
We came here with a medium-large group and kind of landed here due to the long wait at another closeby restaurant. Luckily, it was Happy Hour, so the timing was good! I started with an Old Fashioned drink, which was solid - strong enough to pack a little punch but still taste good. We ordered a few appetizers - the Korean Beef Frachos were especially good and the Brussel sprouts were very solid. With so many appetizers, I went with a Caesar salad and two soft tacos (shrimp and fish). The Caesar salad was good and healthy sized, so I could share with others. It was a typical, but good, Caesar which didn't have anything fancy about it (no anchovies, egg yolk, etc), but nothing was really lacking either. Both soft/street tacos were good, respectable in size and very tasty. Other people in our party got burgers, goat cheese salad, chicken sandwiches, and everyone seemed very happy with their meals. Service was friendly and casual. Our server was the one who really recommenced the Frachos, which was a great call. I've been to Eurekas before and always been satisfied. I'd probably rate the typical location a 4-star experience, but this one seemed extra friendly and the food I enjoyed more than I expected, so a solid 5 star experience in my book.
Thanks to the GM for reaching out after my last review and inviting me back to give Eureka another try. I'm glad I did because this experience was so much better than the first. If you read my original review, you know the service was terrible. This time, though, Jorge took great care of us. He checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and was friendly from start to finish. That's the kind of service I was hoping for the first time around. The food was much better too, especially the fries! Y'all know they were trash in my first review. This time they were hot and crispy. I ordered the Fresno Fig Burger with fig marmalade, goat cheese, bacon, tomato, red onion, arugula, and spicy porter mustard. Whew... that burger was good! The combination of sweet and savory flavors just worked. My husband and I ended the meal by sharing the Bourbon Barrel Cake with candied pecans, bourbon caramel, and vanilla bean ice cream. Listen, don't leave without ordering it. It was absolutely delicious.
Just making my timely updated review. The lights were still dimmed, which brought a great ambiance to the dinner experience. It was very relaxed and just had chill vibes. The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!
I came back for the Bacon-Jalapeño Jam Burger. To my pleasant surprise, it was during Hoppy Hour (3-6 PM, 9-close daily). Daisy did a phenomenal job with my order while being very friendly & attentive. Kinda reminds me of Finney's and I need to try the Bison burger!
Had an okay experience! The wait was long, our server was great, and the food was okay We came on a Sunday a little before 6pm with a party of 4. My friend got there early to put our name on the list. The restaurant appeared empty as there were lots of open seats/tables but it took us 40 minutes to get seated. The hosts were apologetic and we chalked it up to the fact that they were potentially understaffed. But it was definitely a bit frustrating to wait 40 minutes From there, the experience was pretty seamless. The service was generally good! My husband and I ordered Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and a Bacon Jalapeno Jam Burger. Food was pretty standard! Good but nothing to write home about. The burger patty was cooked well, but the bun was a bit dry/stale. Brussels sprouts were good and the truffle fries were probably the tastiest thing we had. Overall, a mid experience!
Tried out the umami burger, with mushrooms and pickled onions, it was pretty solid! Unfortunately, the Fresno fig came out cold and the fries were overcooked/too hard. Almost like both were just left out for 30 minutes before they were put on the table. Service was fantastic, always someone coming to check on us every 15 or so minutes! Love this place for its outdoor seating, it makes for a very relaxing eating environment.
Our group of six came here for an early dinner on a Friday. We wanted to go to BJ's originally, but there was a 45+ min wait. Some of us had been to different Eureka! locations in Northern California and suggested to check this one, which was just across the parking lot from BJ's, out. I was glad we did. Not only was there no wait, they had a very chill covered outdoor patio as well. Their indoor area had more of a sports bar feel, which was cool, too. Staff were super friendly; our server told us about their loyalty program, and gave us some great recommendations on food and drinks. We're early enough to order quite a few things off the "Hoppy Hour" menu. I had the Wild Child cocktail, which had a pretty color, and was quite yummy. We shared 3 appetizers: Truffle Cheese Fries, Crispy Glazed Brussel Sprouts, Korean Beef Frachos. All 3 were delicious, and our favorite was the beef frachos, which was like an upgraded nachos, with very flavorful/tender ribeye steak pieces and mildly spicy seasonings with cheese over crispy potato wedges. It's truly the bomb! For my entree, I had the Al Pastor Fish Taco and the Blackened Shrimp Taco. Both were scrumptious, especially the shrimp one. My husband gave me some of his Caesar Salad, which was fresh and quite good. My sister-in-law shared some of her Napa Chicken Sandwich with me; it was delightful. Our daughter had the Goat Cheese Citrus Salad with added chicken and no pecans. She enjoyed it but said the amount of chicken she got wasn't worth the additional charge. Overall, we all enjoyed our food and had a great time. With the happy hour deals, I thought their prices were very reasonable. Would definitely consider coming here again for our next gathering.
Great food, good vibes! When I walked into this place, I was greeted with somewhat of an attitude, though I understand as I went with a little under than an hour left before closing. I ordered a burger, fries, Coke Zero, some lettuce wraps and wings. All great, especially the lettuce wraps highly recommend. I will be back here for sure as the person who took my order was on top of it when refilling my Coke Zero, didn't have to ask. Well deserved tip.
I went to Eureka! for the first time the other night with one mission: a sweet treat with family. The vibe was very chill for a Monday night. Just a few people at the bar watching the game and the restaurant has a cozy feel with the low lighting and warm wood interior. I could see out to the outdoor fireplace and kept thinking that would be such a cute date vibe. Just drinks by the fire where it's quiet enough to actually hear each other talk. I thought it was interesting that the waitress brought out a kids snack plate with carrots and oranges. I've never seen that before. Our server, Malia, was nice and attentive overall. For dessert we ordered the Bourbon Barrel Cake and the Turtle Pie à la mode. The Barrel Cake wasn't too sweet and the flavor was good, but the texture was a little grainy. The turtle pie was very sweet, but my son loved it so clearly it did its job. Overall it was a good little dessert stop. Next time I might come back and actually try the food.
Tried this place out in the City of Cerritos CA. Place is modern and somewhat fancy. The ambiance was warm with great décor. We made our order for a Party of 6. Mostly hamburgers and salads. The food was good, but the price doesn't match up with the burger. The burger I ordered was $21 plus, comes with small fries and optional to upgrade for sweet potato fries, onion rings etc for an additional $3 more. The burger was small as well as the fries. I felt cheated paying for this type of meal. The service could of been a better. Our waitress would come and go, disappearing 15-20 mins at a time. Our total stay was close to 2hrs. Overall, it's an okay place for drinks but not so much for the food. They need to work on their service. Maybe I will give it another try in the future. This experience was just Meh.

I tried the jalapeño egg burger, and it was... fine. The burger itself was juicy and cooked well, and the egg was a nice touch. The jalapeños added a little kick, but nothing that really made it stand out or blow me away. Flavor-wise, it felt like it was almost great but didn't quite get there--kind of like it played it safe. For the price, I was expecting a bit more punch or balance. Not bad, not amazing. I'd come back if friends wanted to go, but it's not something I'd crave or go out of my way for. I went here with my family for my birthday, and I have tried the Irvine location before. Everyone liked what they ordered, myself included! The firecracker wings and truffle cheese fries were really good. There were only 2 things I wasn't the biggest fan of but neither deters me from wanting to return. My fries with my Steak Frites weren't fresh and I could tell they'd been sitting out for a bit before coming out to me. The lights were also too dim in the restaurant for my liking. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the service we received today was very disappointing. Our waiter, Quincey seemed bothered every time we asked for something. When we first arrived, we requested water and had to remind her about it. When she eventually brought it, she set the glasses down without saying anything or making eye contact. Throughout the meal, she continued to act the sam. When I asked for ketchup and later for a straw, she seemed annoyed and again dropped the items off without saying anything. It made us feel uncomfortable asking for even basic things. As for the food, I ordered the wings well done, but they came out soggy and heavily breaded. I understand that breading is a preference, and I should have asked but the texture was not what I expected. When our food arrived, we were also not given utensils or napkins so I had to get up and grab them from a nearby table. This has typically been one of our go to places when the kids want burgers. We've always liked the relaxed atmosphere where we can enjoy burgers and beer while the kids have a good time. Unfortunately today's experience completely changed that for us. I ended up sending the wings back which is something I have never done because it's embarrassing but between the food and the service, I felt it was necessary. My husband also ordered the jalapeño burger which came without jalapeños, but he chose not to say anything because of how unapproachable the service felt. Overall, we left very upset . I was excited to try this place as I've had it bookmarked for a while. There was no wait when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The hosts were friendly and we were greeted by a server right away. I regret not remembering her name but she was awesome and very helpful. We started with the wings which I highly recommend. We tried firecracker and honey glazed flavored which were both tasty. The best thing is they came out hot and juicy. More often than not wings come out room temperature and dry. We also ordered cocktails which were pretty strong (for me at least). We got to pour it ourselves. I loved the Campfire. Anything with a roasted marshmallow makes me happy. For entrees, we had the double smash burger with fries and Fresno Fig with sweet potato fries. Burgers were juicy and tasty. The Fresno Fig had a bit too much goat cheese though which overpowered the flavor of anything else. I wouldn't order again or maybe ask to go light on the cheese. A decent place if you're looking for an American chain restaurant. I've been to this location many years ago but I recently went back and ordered their Bison burger which came with a side of fries. Everything was good but for $20ish the burger was pretty small especially when it's placed on such a big plate. I definitely wasn't full at the end of the meal. The wife and I wanted to take her niece out to celebrate her graduating from high school and found this spot. To start it was pet friendly so that was a plus. Our waiter was awesome since it was our first time visiting he gave us suggestions based off of what we were craving to eat and helped me choose the beer I wanted. We got a few shareables starting with the truffle cheese fries, and the Brussel sprouts which were nice and tangy with the sweet and sour sauce they glazed them paired with almonds. I got the bison burger along with onion rings and both my wife and her niece got the American burger with fries. My bf and I love Eureka, but we came back recently and was so disappointed, mainly in the customer service. We came on a Saturday night and there was surprisingly no wait. I do like how they have big tables for larger parties. We ordered the barbecue bacon and bison burger. The burgers were good, but fries were disappointing and soggy. It just looked like the leftovers. Our server was attentive in the beginning, but he just disappeared after. No one checked in on us after we got our food. I understand if it was busy, but it wasn't busy and he wasn't helping other tables either. We could also hear the other tables in our section looking around and asking "where is our server". We asked someone for help and they said they'll grab our server so that's when he came back. Next, we ordered food to go and waited outside. We checked in after 20 minutes with the hostess and she said she'll check in the back and let us know. She came back, but just went back to her host stand. We were standing right outside and she didn't say anything so we asked again and she said oh it's not ready yet. No effort in trying to update us. Overall, I won't be coming back. read more

I stumbled across this restaurant and decided to give it a try because it had good reviews. However, my experience was not so great. Customer service was extremely slow. I feel that I was a bit discriminated against because the color of my skin. There were two other tables that came in after me that received their drinks & food prior to my table. As I was leaving, I noticed another black couple was complaining about the customer service as well and how slow it was. I had the Eureka burger. It was pretty good. The cherry limeade is not good is not sweet at all. What I give this place another try. I highly doubt it because of the customer service. read more

They take reservations. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon at about 2pm. Not busy at all. Service was good. Ordered the double smash burger and truffle cheese fries as an addl up grade. It's a common chain all over SoCal and the bar area is nice to sit if you are watching a sporty event . The food is what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Nothing thing spectacular but nothing terribly horrible either. Not sure if I would go out of my way to come here again. Located in a long and large strip mall in Cerritos by the Nordstrom rack and other restaurants like BJ's. $27 including tip. read more

I've visited ALL Eureka locations, and Cerritos is the largest and there indoor and outdoor vibe is more inviting than the other locations. As soon as I walk in staff, shout out (Angie, Zack, and John) , already know what I'm gonna order because the chicken wings are THE BEST quality I've had and they make their own dry rub and sauces I love the firecracker sauce. I haven't yet explored the rest of the menu because I cant stop ordering the wings!!!! read more

Tried out Eureka on a Saturday night with a +1. The place was not busy at all for the size of this restaurant. We were seated along the far right corner of the restaurant once you entered. I probably saw a family of 4 and a couple during the dinner experience. The restaurant is well decorated. I definitely can see it being a nice hangout spot for large groups. Its also pretty big and offers outdoor and indoor seating. We opted for indoor as is was a little chilly that night. Customer service was good. Our original server took a 30 minute during our dinner and passed off to 2 other servers while he went o break. All of them were pretty friendly and attentive. Food was just okay. We ordered a freshmade ginger lime soda (not that much flavor), root beer, dorito encrusted shisito peppers (the portion was small), spicy chicken sandwich, and fish and chips. It came out to $70 tip included which I think was a little pricier than what it was. My chicken sandwich was mostly burnt breading which was a little bit of a let down. read more
A chain restaurant with generous portions that is overall pretty good. There's a bar and they have lots of interesting looking cocktails. I ate some mac and cheese balls- which were awesome and large. I also had a tasty medium-well Fresno Fig burger that was more than a handful. I was curious about the veggie offerings and I sampled the crispy veggie beet burger with some goat cheese subbed in and it was good, too. They had attentive staff that answered all of my questions. For seating there was booth, table, and bar seating. The music/ambiance was like EDM elevator music. No issues parking and no issues being seated right away. I wish we could do half stars- It was better than OK and it was good but I want to give it 3.5 stars. I'll try the desserts next time. read more

Eureka! We found it! Another place to get delicious food at a relatively reasonable price. The first time we visited, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad. It was mid. However, the peanut sauce is yummy. The second time was a charm. I ordered Ahi Poke' Stack, and it was hot, like a firecracker in deliciousness. Supremely executed. The Truffle Cheese Fries were good but slightly too salty for me. This time, the Eureka was the Desserts: Oh My Gawd, the Carrot cake stole the show. It was purely golden in flavor and sweet with just the right amount of moisture. And its co-star, the Bourbon Barrel Cake, was equally delightful. I would come back just for the desserts. I love the atmosphere; it has beautiful scenery. Eureka! was perfect for our gathering purpose. Our waiter was kind, engaging, and accommodating. It's an excellent sports bar getaway. The prices are moderate, and the food portions are adequate. The drinks are what's happening at Eureka! I found a drink. I didn't know I was looking for the charcoal and lemonade; they were delicious. My only disappointment was the service this time. Do you take reservations for patio seating?
Was always told patio was first come, first served no reservations. Imagine my surprise when I walked in to try to snag the fireplace, only to be told that the seats were being held for reservations. Please clarify for future reference.
Do you have any happy hour specials for take out or delivery?
We do not have happy hour specials but we do have good deals on our wild child, industry margarita and Beer bags if you order on our website. Thank you!
Are guests able to dine-in? I know there's an outdoor patio with seating at this location.
At this moment our patio is open for you to enjoy your takeout food.

We do! We offer our hoppy hour 7 days a week. 2-6pm and 9-close.
Could we change the French fries to something else?
They all can:). Or we can make it “naked”, which is the burger/sandwich on top of a bed of arugula topped with a lemon vinaigrette drizzle.
Do u have anything for birthdays?
They gave my friend a choice of dessert. Large parties are welcome here too.

Every time we have come there has never been a wait.
