He was a sweetheart the one person doing its job vs just seeing who's going to throw cash @ them or get tipped by big spenders (nothing wrong with that but come on) Then after I finish my drink , a bartender lady asked me if I paid my bill I sarcastically answered no that's why I'm leaving. She proceeded to ask the waitress who looked my way like 3 times not ever acknowledging me if she served our drinks . She nodded No. Then she came back and said she didn't charge you I said no she didn't and I said first it takes you 5 songs to attend to 1 drink now you're questioning if I paid "PATHETIC " so sad bad service, bad attitude except the bar back ! Don't change your humbleness cause this place sucks .. Banda was good but th le service sucked more for me to even listen to you

A friend of mine is a Cerritos local, and this was our second visit. First and foremost, the staff was amazing. The gentleman working the front door was incredibly polite and welcomed us with a smile, even wishing us a great time as we walked in. The two bartenders were outstanding. Unfortunately, I didn't catch both of their names, but their level of customer service was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the night. For food, we ordered the lumpia and the pepperoni flatbread pizza. Both were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying them. We also enjoyed a couple of ice-cold beers. I ordered a glass of water as well, and my water was refilled almost immediately every time it was empty--a small detail that really stood out. The DJ kept the atmosphere fun and lively, and we were able to catch the MMA fights on their multiple flat-screen TVs, which made the experience even better. My buddy Jason says this is the best dive bar in Cerritos. After this visit, I'd have to agree. In fact, the customer service we received here was better than what I've experienced at many upscale, "bougie" establishments. Outstanding food, excellent drinks, incredible service, and a great atmosphere. Job well done, Shipmates! I'll definitely be back.

The location is a little hidden and was somewhat difficult to find at first, but once inside, everything was well organized and easy to navigate. The staff did an excellent job throughout the event--friendly, attentive, and impressively fast despite the crowd. I also appreciated that they limited the number of guests, which kept the atmosphere lively without feeling overcrowded. It was nice that this wasn't strictly an adults-only environment, as we were able to bring our child along and still enjoy the experience. The food was good, the service was great, and the overall setup made for an enjoyable afternoon of soccer. We'll definitely be back during football season to catch a few games.

The young male bartender with glasses provided us excellent service many times. However, the tall blonde bartender that usually works would provide slow and mediocre service. Ambiance was also usually dead and I've never seen this joint really poppin' like that tbh. They do occasionally have live rock bands perform which was a plus for me as I'm all for live entertainment. Prices are a little steep here though from what I remember. Another con would be the lack of food options/vendors/ and snacks. Overall I don't hate this bar but I don't necessarily love it either. Decent in its own way and I'd recommend for people to stop by and check it out at least once.

And my group was there for 6 hours and during the live music. There is no way any of those guys would act this way especially when one is totally sober and the other two were not drunk at all.

With the exception of sports games, most nights you can be sure to avoid the large crowds here which is a plus for me. The service here is also usually pretty great; shout-out to Claudia for providing us exceptional service on our most recent visit! They also have some pretty sweet happy hour deals (& daily food specials) on drinks and appetizers everyday from 4pm-7pm! Not to mention they also offer a redeemable free pint with their Yelp Check-In! This establishment is unfortunately a beer-only bar as they don't offer liquor of any sort however don't let that discourage you as you can fulfill your alcoholic needs with a few cold IPA's! Overall I definitely recommend this local sports bar to anyone in the area in need of some cold brews and buffalo wings. Support your local businesses!

DINING While Black…read more The 908 Restaurant Environment 1-5: 5 I really appreciated the ambiance and decor of the space. After enduring weeks of record breaking heat in Long Beach, this was the perfect place to land as the Summer Breeze... Makes Me Feel Fineeee again. A very well but gently lit space that still feels cozy and spacious. The outside gives no indication of how well the inside has been designed. Great for lunch or dinner dates. Noise level was low and there's no feeling of a chaotic restaurant environment. Food/Service 1-5: 4.8 I order the shrimp and lobsters fettuccine, bone marrow as an appetizer. My company ordered the lamb burger. All dishes we beautifully plated; true works of art. Neither of us had any complaints about presentation and creativity. As far as taste and as excited as we were to dig in to our food, the ONLY setback was the lack of seasoning mainly salt. I'm aware that a Chef does their best to meet the expectations of their guest. I'm also aware that meeting everyone's expectations is impossible. To confirm my advice of needing some salt in the food I patrons the restaurant twice, two days in a row. The food needs more salt and I stand solid on that opinion. The service was great and I thanked Mel for taking such great care of us. Mel is a rockstar! Diversity score 1-5: 4 The restaurant definitely appeals to diverse crowds. It reminded of the days I frequented Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster in Harlem, NY. Go again score 1-5: 5, Absolutely. I do hope I don't have to keep bothering the server for salt and pepper.

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY…read more $5 birthday month dining credit for Rewards members Not so happy Rodney. Had another hiccup, same as last year, trying to redeem my $5 birthday month dining credit. Walking in, I sat at the bar, and let the employee know I possess the promo. She said she's never handled that before, since she recently relocated from Temecula to Long Beach. But, she would ring it up, afterwards. Already red flags started to pop up, with visions of last year's issues floating in my head, so I asked if I could use the promo on a beer, which she replied in the affirmative. Ordering a pint of Blue Moon, I quenched my thirst on a hot August day, and that's when things turned sour. Upon trying to redeem the dining credit via Toast Local app, the beer was denied several times. I asked if my beer could be comped, and told she couldn't. She should have, because it was her mistake, but she did not. I then asked if perhaps the promo isn't valid for beer, and she said that might be the case. So, I decided to order a $5 carne asada taco. Carne asada taco- Tough, old, not hot. The carne asada taco was a terrible excuse for a street taco. Not even worth half the $5 price tag. No bueno. Upon redeeming the promo via Toast Local app for my taco, I was again met with several denials. Porque? What can I redeem the promo on? The employee again explained she was new, and unaccustomed to the birthday redemption. She then took pics of my Toast Local account number & QR code. Paying the $5 plus tax, I was ready to be on my way. Second year, I'm out. Again, I had issues redeeming my birthday month promo, and I've had my fill of Alas Toxicas. I should've been comped for the pint of Blue Moon, seeing how it was no fault of my own the employee didn't know how to input things. With that, and a subpar facsimile of a carne asada taco, I have no plans on returning.

I didn't know where we were going, so I was surprised to see this was a sports bar with a huge menu that has way more than pizza. We took a seat and the waitress was over quickly to take our orders, he went with what he came for, I had a Supreme pizza. We both got the personal 8" sizes, with his coming in at almost $20, and mine only being $12. I was BEYOND starving so after we ordered my husband got up and asked for an order of chips and salsa. Well, that never arrived. After 30 minutes she brought our pizzas and said the chips & salsa were coming next, I told her to forget it. I'm not sure why she thought we wanted it after our pizzas? Oh well. Pizzas were good! Mine was a typical supreme pizza with LOADS of cheese, tasty marinara, mushrooms, onions, olives, bell peppers, fresh tomatoes and a small amount of sausage and pepperoni. It's a very veggie forward pizza, which I was fine with. I was full after two slices. I thought his pizza would be super heavy, but is was not! The base was chili that tasted a LOT like Tommy's, so we were happy with it. There is a layer of cheddar cheese, some pastrami, and lots of pickles. I picked up on the chili flavor more than anything. Lunch was $40 for the two pizzas, a beer, and an iced tea. If we lived closer I am sure we would have them again, but it wasn't great enough to make a trip out to Cerritos again.
