Security and management are not doing it right. Their website currently does not mention a dress code. When we arrived we were told we couldn't enter in a rude matter. We pointed out that there were currently people in the restaurant wearing sandals. Management told us that the rules apply after 7pm. It was currently 7:30, so they denied us entry. In the process of this convo they let a woman wearing flip flops in. When I pointed that out the security said "it is part of an outfit" - they should add that to their list of rules... Clearly they are able to make exceptions for people that look a certain way, and not for others. We had a party of 15 inside; they charged them 10 for water without mentioning to them that there is a cost. Overall, while I understand that rules are rules. It is clear that the security and management only make these rules for certain people. read more

Love coming here for Hookah and drinks on the patio. However recently on. Friday night we were told there's a 90min limit. We were ordering drinks and security came to tell us we had 10min left. We were told we could finish our drinks inside but not at that table. We were confused because this is our hookah spot and come often. We spoke to the mgr and she was very professional and said it was a pilot program and our feedback will help future decision making. Will I be back? Yes. We came here super excited since it was our first time. We were greeted at the door and asked for a table for four. The woman who greeted us, who we later found out was the manager, told us they didn't have a regular table available but could seat us at a booth that normally required bottle service. She specifically said she would make an exception for us. Once seated, we ordered drinks and started looking over the hookah options. After deciding on a flavor, our waitress took our order but came back moments later and told us the manager said we had to purchase a bottle in order to get hookah at that table. We asked to speak with the manager, and the same woman who had originally told us she would make an exception came over. She then told us they had rules and claimed we had said we were there for dining. We explained that we never said we were there to eat, nor did anyone ask us that when we arrived. We were there specifically to enjoy hookah and drinks. At that point, we decided to leave. Had the bottle requirement or any of these rules been clearly explained before we were seated and ordered drinks, we would have completely understood and could have decided whether we wanted to stay. What made the experience disappointing was being told one thing at the door and then having the expectations changed after we were already seated. Been going for years, always enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere and never had an issue, even when ownership and management changed. The last visit we went in a group of 4, and one of our members had shorts on. Security told them they couldn't go in due to a dress code they had against shorts. Fine, he went home to change while 3 of us stayed. 5 minutes later, a group shows up, some with shorts. We see security talk with them for a while, and he let 2 of the guys in while one of the guys went around the building. I got up to check and the guy with shorts was sitting in the booth ordering a drink already. We respect the dress code and understand the rules, but it seems management only applies it against certain people. We got up, told the bartender Laura (who is great) that we were leaving because the way we were treated was unfair. She told the manager, who was standing right next to me, and she just said "oh" and walked away without acknowledging or apologizing. This place used to be great, but the new manager Ruby ruined it. We were once loyal customers who looked forward to coming here every week because, under the previous management, the service truly felt warm, welcoming, and exceptional. It is disappointing and honestly heartbreaking to say that since Ruby took over, that experience has changed so much for the worse. One of the biggest concerns for us has been the inconsistent way the dress code and identification policies are enforced. It feels as though the rules are not applied fairly or equally to everyone, and that has been very discouraging to witness. On our most recent visit, one member of our group was told he could not enter because he was wearing dress shorts and needed to change into pants. He left immediately to do so while the rest of us waited outside. During that time, we watched two other guests wearing jersey shorts and sports jerseys walk in without any issue at all. We have also seen other guests directed through the employee side entrance when they did not meet the same identification requirements. Moments like these make it hard not to feel singled out and deeply disappointed by the inconsistency. When we respectfully raised these concerns with Ruby, she simply walked away without offering any explanation or even acknowledging how upsetting the situation was for us. That response hurt, because we were not trying to argue--we were simply hoping to be heard and treated with the same respect we had always tried to show. The one bright spot in all of this has been Laura, the bartender. She has always been kind, welcoming, and professional, and her genuine hospitality has meant a great deal to us. She consistently provided the kind of service that made us want to return, even after several disappointing experiences that left us questioning whether we still belonged there. This place used to be one of our favorites, and we recommended it to many friends because we truly believed in it. I am disappointed, but not surprised, by your response. Despite your claims, my group and I had only 1-2 drinks each, which were our first and only drinks of the evening. It's unfortunate that you would attempt to discredit my review by falsely accusing me of being intoxicated. Furthermore, I find it hypocritical that you would deny any wrongdoing when there are multiple accounts of your inappropriate behavior, including getting overly familiar with guests while drinking at the bar. This behavior has been noted by other reviewers, and I'm not the only one who has experienced poor treatment at your establishment. Regarding the complimentary drinks, I specifically requested that only one drink be comped, not the entire tab. Despite this, I still paid the full amount of $120 and even provided a cash tip to your server. I would encourage you to take a closer look at the repetitive negative reviews and feedback from former employees, including the server who quit on the spot during our visit. This pattern of behavior suggests a deeper issue that needs to be addressed. I hope that in the future, you will take customer feedback seriously and take steps to improve the quality of service and overall experience at your establishment. You should review your responses to the other reviewers as your response is pretty much telling them to take a hike and deal with it elsewhere. I have to start about the stunning decor!
