I ordered a filet mignon, New York Strip, Sour Dough Rolls, Housemade Soup, and Crowded House Sauvignon Blanc Wine. The Sour Dough Rolls were AMAZING, mine came out hot and fresh with a nice crunch. Pro tip is to dip them into the housemade soup. The Housemade soup is a must try and best paired with something. I highly recommend to add as your side. The Crowded House Sauvignon Blanc wine tasted great for the price, it's nice and sweet. If you're looking for a nice wine without breaking the bank I would recommend this one. The bacon wrapped Filet Mignon was great, I ordered mine medium rare and they cooked it almost to perfection. I wish it had a bit more sear and a little more rare in the middle, but overall flavor was great and the cut was nice and tender. I would recommend to order this. The Sautéed mushrooms were full of flavor and go well with the Steak. The New York Strip was great as well, sear was perfect on this one and so much juice and flavor. I ordered medium rare but it came as a medium, not a big deal since it was really tender and juicy. I would recommend this steak as well. Take the medium instead of medium rare with a grain of salt, medium rare is the hardest to perfect so it's gonna be a little over more often than not. The Staff was attentive and friendly. Ambience is nice and business casual, great bar as well.

Picked this place as a mid point for a team meeting and it was a hit! We arrived for an early dinner and were seated immediately as the place was fairly empty at that hour, but filled up while we were there. We shared orders of the Garlic Cheese bread (must order!) and the brussel sprouts. We each had different entrées, one the Cajun Chicken (note the sauce is VERY spicy, order it on the side to control the spice level); one the Lemon Pepper Chicken (juicy and nicely seasoned) and one the Black & Blue sirloin (Beautifully cooked and full of umami) . We each two sides, we all got mushrooms and only our second were different. Vegis were fresh and not over cooked. Mashed potatoes creamy but with some body. We all had adult beverages as well, a nice selection of wines are available and there is a full bar. Definitely recommend and would go back if in the area.

We were celebrating our youngest son's birthday. He chose this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. Quiet enough to have a nice conversation. The wine recommendations were excellent, and the wines themselves were very tasty. The desserts are generous in size and can easily be shared. At the end of the meal, our waitress noticed the celebration and brought out an extra scoop of ice cream for the birthday boy--a very kind and much-appreciated gesture. We will definitely be back

Recommended by bartender. And did not disappoint. Very tender. And tasty sauces were excellent. I really enjoy my meal and when in area again. Will definitely. Be back

Been here a few times now and they never disappoint the food here is amazing every single time that we've been here whatever we've tried is delicious and the bar is huge. They got rid of the pool on top now so more seating for bigger parties the wait it was pretty long, but it was well worth it we had a few drinks while we waited. The waitresses and bartenders were on top of it. It was really good service.

Decent steakhouse in downtown Fullerton. Their mozzarella sticks are to die for! They're perfectly coated and crispy. I ordered the ribeye & got mashed potatoes with gravy & mushrooms for my 2 sides. The ribeye was seared & cooked perfectly & the mushrooms are so tasty. We received really good customer service from our waitress, she was very attentive and friendly. We got seated in the back booths and it was pretty dark especially if you're dining at night. Only suggestion would be to put a little more lighting in the booths in the back.

This place is a great was great and not far from our hotel so we wanted to get a steak and vegetables. It is not much on the outside and even inside is not much to write home about. The only negative I have is the parking. There is none as it is in an area with a lot of other food choices. Our server Ashley was great. We were seated upstairs and she was a trouper carrying all the food up there. I had the 16oz ribeye and the wife had the 8 oz sirloin. She likes her steak burnt as a sacrifice to the meat goods so if that is your style then have them butterfly it as they are quite thick. I had the 16oz ribeye. Both came out perfect. The vegetables were also perfectly cooked to our liking. My steak was a little on the med well side but still tasted great. I would come back again.

I am handicapped. How close is handicapped parking?

There is immediate handicapped parking in the Santa Fe parking lot that is directly behind Stubrik's.

Are you ooen on Thanksgiving Day?

Hello Karen, Unfortunately we are not open on Thanksgiving Day.

Are shorts acceptable at your restaurant?

Yes, very casual is acceptable. High end food at a casual diner.....gotta love it!

Any chance you could rent out the place for a night? what is your seating capacity

Hello Maria, Thank you for your inquiry and yes we do offer options for a complete rent out of Stubrik's. If you could visit our website at the following link:…

Do you take parties of 12?

We do accept parties of 12. As previously mentioned we do not take reservations. We operate as first come first served.

Do you take parties of 10? And reservations?

We can accommodate parties of 10 but we do not offer reservations for any size party, we are strictly first come first serve

So now we are past April, so do you still have outdoor seating?

    Yuuuup 👍

Is the outdoor dining still available?

Yes, the outdoor dining is still available at this time. This may change come April, depending upon the City of Fullerton.

Hi, is it ok to have a table of 5? Also, how long is the wait around 7pm on Wed/Thu? Indoor only, right?

They don't have any problems accommodating a table of 5. I was there a couple of months ago and they were doing outdoor dining. It was really nice. There shouldn't be any wait or a long wait on a Wed/Thurs night at 7 p.m.

    How are Mushrooms?

Not my favorite. They are small, whole mushrooms in a liquid marinade.

Are you guys open right now for indoor dining?

    Yes we are. 4pm-10pm daily

Not sure if this is a stupid or insulting question, but do you have A1 steak sauce?

    We do have A1

    Is indoor dining available?

Yes, with adherence to state and county guidelines

Are Mondays busy for dinner, trying to go for our wedding anniversary?

Busy enough because of MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL and because of the great chefs they have in the kitchen. Small wait will be worth it. A lot of people are tired of not going anywhere since the COVID. Enjoy.

    Is there a kids menu?

No, not that I'm aware of...

    Is there a corkage fee?

We do have a corkage fee of $20.

At what time would it be recommended for a party of 3-5 to come in on a Friday or Saturday night?

John, Typically on a Friday or Saturday we are on a wait by 6:30pm. If you are looking to avoid any wait time i would suggest coming in as early as possible. We also offer…

Is there a time to purchase Gift Certificates earlier in the day?

Debbie, Unfortunately the earliest you can purchase a gift card is 4pm when we open.

What time does the kitchen close?

12am.... All food orders have to be in by 11:50pm...

    What is the corkage fee?

There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant which is often full. We usually park in the free multi-story parking garage just east of Harbor and Wilshire. It is a short one block walk to High Horse from there. As the name suggests, the décor is very western themed with lots of wood, cowboy hats and boots, wagon wheels, lassos, saddles, taxidermy, etc. Seating options include booths, high top tables, and at the bar. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm with food and drink specials. We started out with the pickle fries ($12) which were excellent. The pickle slice thickness to batter ratio was perfect, and they were served with a side of ranch. My first cocktail was The Smoking Gun (bacon washed Elijah Craig bourbon, maple syrup, angostura bitters, orange bitters, $18). It is smoked tableside and was a healthy pour. The bacon and maple flavor was very light, but it was very smooth. Her first cocktail was What Would Dolly Do? (Hornitos plata tequila, Los Sundays jalapeno tequila, Del Maguey peubla mezcal, simple syrup, lime, pineapple, grapefruit, $16). It was balanced with good jalapeno flavor and pineapple below with a light smokiness. For my entrée, I had the half slab of baby back rips ribs ($28) with coleslaw and fries. The plate arrived steaming hot and I was impressed with the portion of ribs. There were seven meaty ribs that were very flavorful and the BBQ sauce was good. The fries were crisp and seasoned, and the coleslaw was good too. She had the Up The Creek spice rubbed cedar-plank salmon ($26) with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion of salmon was good and it was flavorful. The asparagus was cooked well, but they were over salted. She also enjoyed the potatoes. My second cocktail was the Skinny Dipper (Tito's vodka, St. Germain, aloe vera water, watermelon, lime, $15). This drink was light and refreshing, with floral notes, and watermelon and lime standing out. It also had a great looking color. Her second cocktail was Ladies Love Outlaws (rose petal infused Ketel One vodka, St. Germain, simple syrup, grapefruit, lemon, rose wine, $16). This was also light with floral notes, and had good grapefruit flavor. It was very lively at 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. We left a little after 8pm, and the place was packed as they have line dancing. There was a big crowd of at least twenty people dancing in front of the restaurant and having a great time. The service was good, and our server was very friendly. The food and drinks were great, and I think they were a pretty good value for the price.

He approached us by asking what's going on. We explained the situation and were told he cannot do anything for us. I was wanting any form of compensation for wasting my money on a photo booth in their bar. He continued to tell us that he doesn't own this photo booth machine, so he can't do anything for us. The venue appeared to be focused on creating a nightclub atmosphere rather than providing a proper football watch party. There was a DJ, extremely loud music, and a host who continuously provided her own commentary throughout the match. Instead of allowing fans to enjoy the game, she repeatedly interrupted play with jokes, personal observations, and constant microphone chatter that distracted from the match. Halftime was especially frustrating. Rather than preparing for the second half, the host performed multiple songs while fans on the patio were asking for the match audio to be turned on. Even after the game resumed, the unnecessary commentary continued for the remainder of the match. To make matters worse, there was a $30 cover charge. I purchased tickets for my entire group in advance, spending well over $200 before food and drinks. For that price, I expected a venue that understood people were there to watch one of the biggest sporting events in the world--not to watch the host become the center of attention. A great World Cup watch party lets the match create the atmosphere. The crowd, the chants, the tension, and the emotion are what make these events memorable. Unfortunately, those moments were constantly interrupted. I genuinely wanted to like Chako's Social, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. If you're looking for a true football viewing experience where the game comes first, I cannot recommend it based on my visit.

Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

Pour Company has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. I typically dine here at…read moreleast once a week because the food is consistently delicious, and when I visit in the evenings and sit in Mario's section, the service is always exceptional. Unfortunately, my experiences during the day have been the complete opposite, and both involved the same server, Tania B. The first incident occurred when I ordered my usual meal: the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare with the mushroom peppercorn gravy. When my meal arrived without mushrooms, I politely mentioned that it normally comes with them. Rather than checking with the kitchen or simply explaining the dish, Tania immediately insisted that it had never included mushrooms. I even asked if the recipe had recently changed because I had been there the previous week and it was served with mushrooms. She walked away, returned with a menu, tossed it on the table, and said, "It doesn't say mushrooms." Her tone and attitude were unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional. Ironically, when I returned another evening and ordered the exact same dish, it was served with mushrooms. Today (7/31/26), I returned for lunch and, unfortunately, Tania was my server again. I ordered the Steak Frites medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium-well or well done. I politely explained that it wasn't cooked as ordered. She took the plate back, returned a few minutes later, and told me, "That's how it's going to be. Take it or leave it. The chef is the owner, and that's his message." I mentioned that last time she told me it didn't come with mushrooms and clearly there's mushrooms on my dish. She responds with, well sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. I'm like so inconsistency is a thing here? She replies with if that's how you want to see it. I asked if I could speak with the owner directly, and she responded that he was "too busy making food" and refused to let me speak with him. My friend and I paid for the rest of our meal and were preparing to leave when I noticed another employee in the kitchen. I asked if he was the owner, and he explained that he wasn't and that the owner was actually downstairs. I simply asked if I could have Nick's phone number or email so I could share my concerns. The employee kindly said he would see what he could do. While we waited, Tania approached us multiple times in a confrontational manner instead of allowing us to wait peacefully. Rather than focusing on the guests seated at her bar, she seemed more interested in arguing with customers who had legitimate concerns. Throughout both visits, she displayed poor customer service, responded with attitude when simple requests were made (even something as basic as asking for a side of ranch seemed to annoy her), dismissed concerns instead of trying to resolve them, and escalated situations that could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant itself is excellent. The food is consistently great, and Mario provides some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. Unfortunately, one employee can dramatically impact an otherwise outstanding restaurant. If Tania is, in fact, a manager as I was told, it's concerning. A manager should be setting the standard for hospitality, resolving guest concerns professionally, and de-escalating situations--not arguing with customers or making them feel unwelcome. I truly hope ownership addresses this because Pour Company deserves better representation than what I experienced. I would love to continue supporting this restaurant, but I will be avoiding daytime visits as long as this level of service continues.
