This is a great spot for fullerton locals, service was excellent and staff members are attentive and helpful. My fiancé and I tried the chicken nachos one of the best nachos we've tried thus far. They have a variety of drinks and food options. We went on a Friday and it wasn't so full. The ambience is more of a relaxed atmosphere it's perfect for a night out to have a drink or two with great appetizers. Will be visiting again soon!

My date and I decided to check this place out since it was close to our hotel. The ambiance, music and vibes are great! The tequila selections were also a plus since they had additive free options. Our server was sweet and efficient but, our appetizer was a huge fail! The guacamole and chips we ordered were so mid and the guac was old and rotten. There wasn't any flavor and I decided to close out our tab. I can't imagine the food being decent if the guacamole was such a disappointment. Check them out for a great drink but, don't have high hopes for the food.

Tried Juicyladas and the food was very good. The ceviche, and the tacos were delicious. The pork belly appetizer was --super flavorful and cooked just right. I'll definitely be back to try more.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Mia was our waitress and she was very sweet and accommodating to our large party who of 10. The drinks were so good I had the house Paloma super good. My husband like the micheladas. The food was good I recommend the shrimp tacos.

The food was delicious! The jalapeno poppers are a must. The margarita flight was really good too. All around great! I would definitely come back.

This is my favorite bar to go to, and maybe one of my favorite spots in OC. I visited on a whim for the first time in September for my birthday and it was such a great experience; the bartenders are extremely sweet and friendly and it immediately felt as if I'd been a regular for months. I've been back a few times since then and the only reason I'm not there every week is that I don't live close enough. The friendly staff adds so much to the atmosphere and ultimately makes the entire experience so enjoyable. I'm pretty sensitive to the taste of alcohol and am a big fan of fruity, sweet drinks that do the trick but don't taste so strong at the same time (I'm just a girl). All of the drinks I've had here do are exactly that; they taste really good but also are decently strong enough to make you feel something. I haven't tried the food from here yet, but the portion sizes seem to be big from what I've seen. I highly recommend the strawberry margarita if you're looking for a sweet, yet strong drink.

This was our second visit to Juicyladas Cantina and we had another good experience. They are located in a strip mall near Cal State Fullerton with plenty of parking available. They have bar seating, table seating, half booths along the back wall, and what I assume is a VIP area in the front corner. There was hip hop music playing in the background and lots of TVs which had an NBA game on. We dined here on a Sunday evening and it got busier as the evening got later. I was in the mood for a margarita flight which I had during our last visit, but the flight on the menu is six varieties for $40 and I wasn't in the mood for that much alcohol. It would be nice if they had a four flavor flight for a little less. Instead I opted for the premium raspberry habanero margarita which was good. It wasn't too sweet or too boozy, and wasn't overly spicy even though it had habanero. Chips and salsa are not free but for $4 it was a good amount of chips and the salsa had a little heat that creeps up on you. I had the carne asada plate again which was very good. There is a good portion of thinly sliced carne asada which is seasoned well and lies on top of several slices of grilled cactus. There are also pickled onions, green onions, and corn tortillas to make a great variety of different flavored bites. The pico de gallo was good and has some spice thanks to the diced jalapeno. This plate also comes with a cheese enchilada which was good. The rice was a little bit on the dry side and the beans were real good despite a few chunks of whole beans. I rarely like the beans at Mexican restaurants but I actually ate all of these. She had the chicken taquitos which were good and came with picked onions on top in addition to pico de gallo, gauacamole, and sour cream. Our server Clarissa was great and seemed to be handling the whole restaurant by herself with ease. The restaurant is only a few blocks from my home so I'm sure we'll be back from time to time when we don't feel like driving far.

Was looking for a quick bite and this place popped up on my friend's recommendations! There wasn't a lot of people there since we went on a weekday at night, but that was better for us because service was quick! The server was really nice and made sure to check on us many times. I ordered the House Nachos with Asada ($16) and it was huge! It was really flavorful and the asada was well cooked. The inside was a bar/restaurant and they had so many TVs playing. I'd say this is a great place to watch sports and enjoy some good food with friends! There is plenty of free parking in the plaza as well.

Food is good we had pork belly is was delicious, buffalo wings they were yummy, ceviche was ok, shrimp tacos were good . Micheladas are ok they had a lot of pepper like the bottom of the cup .service was good just the servers are constantly jumping from table to table so you don't know who's your server . The ambience is good but it's hard to focus on the game we when to watch the game but they also keep playing music at the same time .Also be ready to share the restroom with the guys which I find it disgusting because all the toilet had pee all over .

Amazingly surprised how delicious the food was. We came for the margaritas and ended up loving the variety of food and drinks too. You have to start with the Pork Belly Bites--they're super tasty and a perfect way to kick off dinner. The honey sauce that comes with gives it a nice touch. The Carne Asada plate is also a good pick. Great flavor and looks really good on the plate. I can't remember the name of the young lady who served us, but she was awesome! She suggested some drinks that were just delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic time. I definitely recommend this place, and we'll be back for sure!

really enjoy the food here, and the location is prime for me. however, service could be improved upon, got a wrong order and an attitude. however, will give this place another try because my group had a fun time overall.

    Aguachiles
    Yolanda Q.

Don't let the name put you off. The aguachiles and pork belly were delicious. I also think their salsas had good flavors. I also enjoyed that they served mayo on the side of the aguachiles. I feel like the places I've been to don't do that. The Moscow mule was good, and it snuck up on me. I'm not usually a guacamole person because I'm not big on raw onion that can be hidden inside but this was good. Service was more casual during our visit. I think we were 1 of 2 tables of customers during our Saturday afternoon lunch visit.

Great margaritas !! Of course the fav is the Guava !! Cáiganle los tacos están buenos también !!

They have a happy hour weekdays from 2pm to 5pm, taco Tuesdays, and other specials on different days of the week. There is always plenty of parking and a good sized lot that is shared with several other businesses. Seating options include the main dining room, at the bar, or a small patio out front. We sat in the dining room on the booth half of a half-booth/half-table along the wall. We were greeted by our server Rosie who started us out with complementary chips and salsa. We got to talking about chips and salsa, and she mentioned they actually have several salsas and she proceeded to bring us out a great spread of all their salsas. All of the salsas were very flavorful with various heat levels. My favorites were the creamy avocado and salsa verde. Both the red salsa and especially the habanero red salsa packed the heat. The chips were also good, and we went thru a few baskets. For entrees, we both ordered the plate of three street tacos ($12.99). They have a wide selection of proteins and fillings which you can mix and match including al pastor, asada, birria, carnitas, chicken, chorizo, tripa, potato, fajita veggies, fish, shrimp, and soyrizo. You can also choose from regular tortillas or handmade tortillas for a little extra. I decided to try some of the meats and ordered asada, al pastor, and carnitas for my three street tacos. They come with a good amount of protein, and are topped with onion and cilantro. The plate also comes with sliced radishes and a slice of lime for each taco. They were all good, but the asada was my favorite. She was happy to see they had soyrizo as an option, and she ordered one potato taco and two soyrizo tacos. She enjoyed her tacos also. The food was great, and Rosie was the icing on the cake. She was so friendly and hospitable. She even sent us home with chips and four small containers of all the salsas. A really great server goes a long way in building a positive reputation for a restaurant. We haven't returned to dine-in yet, but I have picked up tacos and chips and salsa to bring home several times, and the staff is always friendly. I always ask for all four salsas to go with the chips, and they are always happy to oblige.

It was our first time there and this was disclosed to our waitress ( I didn't catch her name but as description goes she had brown hair, septum piercing , morning glory tattoo) and Our waitress kept calling us dude??? Not sure what that's about but I guess most of their employees don't really have proper serving or customer service etiquette to start. Idk the vibes were off to begin with we had asked to sit outside because everybody was lowkey sardined in there . So it was nice to have the option to sit out there . The menu was confusing like why am I looking at brunch menu mixed with non brunch menu items ? Honestly don't understand the point of the appetizer section when they're priced at entree fees ... $32 for appetizers is NUTS . We tried the taquitos (birria) and they brought out chicken taquitos ... which wasn't something I was all that bothered by because the guy was apologetic about it but it's like idk maybe if our initial waitress took notes instead of rushing us they probs would've gotten it right but I digress ... We got a margarita flight and it was probably the most disgusting thing ever . Tasted like flavored simple syrup mixed with hand sanitizer . The presentation was cute I guess but the taste did not add up . ( only ate the gummies tbh) which we kinda forced ourselves to drink bc $$$ & after I asked for a ginger ale which tasted FUNKY . I was basically parched the whole time. My friend got the Birria taco , she said it was too salty & the consume was definitely lacking some sort of flavor. I'm sure there's other stuff on the menu that is good but I can't justify coming back to experience to such sh**y service it's just not worth it but I also think but because I came in for tacos Tuesday the Baja tacos were $8 I guess it's the only thing that was " worth it". I don't like to be that guy sending everything back and being complicated so that's why I'm here writing this .

We attended a special Chartreuse tasting event at Strong Water which was being held in honor of…read moreChartreuse week and Chartreuse Day 1605 (May 16), the annual celebration of Chartreuse's origins and history. The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!

The selection is solid and the quality is consistently high -- I highly recommend the beers themselves. That said, I can't give 5 stars after a recent visit. I ordered an $8 beer, opened a tab, and then had to leave unexpectedly right after (didn't even get to drink it). I assumed any unclosed tab would default to a standard 20% tip. Instead, I was charged $14.16 total , which works out to roughly a 68% tip on the beer. I understand that open tabs are annoying for the staff, and things happen. But when you don't have a working phone or aren't given the chance to close out, a nearly 70% automatic charge feels excessive. A clearer policy or lower default gratuity on abandoned tabs would go a long way. Plenty of great beer options in SoCal, so this definitely stings. Hoping they reconsider the approach.
