Pancake combo with sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit
    Robin R.

My husband and I are recently new to this area in Placentia. We've been driving around and trying new places to eat. We stumbled across this cute little brunch spot. Thought we'd give it a try, Wow,what a breath of fresh air !! everything is so fresh, you'll be amazed at the fresh berries, everything is done with Care. It looks like something from Pinterest when you get your order!! you can tell they really care about the presentation of their food, not to mention delicious!! this is a hidden jem in Placentia !! Coffee is also delicious

You order at the county before you sit down here, so be prepared with your order! The staff were very kind and open for feedback given how new this place is. My actual pancakes in my order were very average though, and this is why the four stars instead of five. It was too crunchy with no soft pillowy interior, and the flavor was not particularly outstanding. Everything else was tasty though. I'd come back and give this place another try.

    Chilaquiles Divorciados with Ribeye
    Sebastian C.

Brunch & Beyond has been open for a few weeks now and have been on my bookmarks since they opened. I finally had the chance to try them twice this past week. My first visit was on Sunday (4/12) at 9:30 AM to dine-in and my latest visit was this morning (4/17) at 7:30 AM for take-out. Here's what I've tried so far: **Chilaquiles Divorciados with Ribeye: This dish was the reason I wanted to try B&B. I was leaning towards getting salsa verde but the guy up front recommended that I order it divorciados which is salsa verde and salsa rojo. The salsa verde was great but I wasn't a big fan of the salsa rojo. The salsa rojo lacked flavor and spice but it was nothing tapatio couldn't fix. My gf who grew up in East LA agreed with me with the lack of depth with the salsa rojo. The chilaquiles itself was good and possibly one of the better ones in the Orange County area. The only other downside besides the salsa rojo lacking flavor include the chips being too crispy all the way through. The ribeye was prepared at a perfect medium rare and the presentation was spectacular. Loved the addition of the radish served on top. (4/5) **Classic Omelette with Ham: The omelette itself was good but it was boring since it lacked vegetables. There are other options for vegetables in the omelettes but not with their sausage. We both wished the hashhbrowns were crispier but it is what it is. Overall, great omelette. (4/5) **Sausage Breakfast Burrito: Solid, hefty breakfast burrito. Loved the pico inside which enhanced the flavor but the ratio of hashbrowns to everything else was too much. On top of there being a lot of hashbrowns, it was very salty. The salsa verde was chunky (just the way I like it) and very flavorful. I enjoyed the kick from the habanero salsa. (3.5/5) **Cinnamon Roll: I was initially disappointed by the size for the price you pay but it smelled so delicious on the ride home. It also doesn't look like there's enough icing on top but the overall flavor was really good. Not Polly's Pies level of greatness but still very solid. (4/5) **Iced Americano: Wanted to try an espresso based beverage since they have a full on espresso bar around the corner. It was prepared fairly quickly and was above par. (4/5) Once you enter on the right side of the restaurant, you order, pay, get your number, and get seated wherever you'd like. It's not full table service but everyone dining in was taken care of by all the front of house staff. Every single person we interacted with during our dine-in experience was great along with my to-go experience. The food is really good and the prices are very fair. The main thing that stands out about this place is their spectacular service. I will definitely be back in the near future to try more of their menu. This may be my new favorite local breakfast spot. See you again soon and welcome to Fullerton, Brunch & Beyond!

    Strawberry Matcha

Absolutely loved this place! The breakfast was amazing and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food. The strawberry matcha was AMAZING. It was hands down the best I've had in a while! They made by hand in front of me with ceremonial grade matcha, and it wasn't overly sweet. It was smooth, refreshing, and paired perfectly with brunch. They also gave freshly squeezed orange juice, which was nice. Normally brunch places have gallon orange juice, but they have a huge orange juicer where you can see them make it fresh. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and I'll definitely be coming back. If you're looking for a spot with incredible breakfast and an unforgettable handcrafted strawberry matcha, this is it. Highly recommend!

Pretty good brunch spot. We ordered the pancake combo, Classic Eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito, and Huevos Rancheros. I think my favorite were the pancakes. Fluffy inside and crispy outside. The eggs Benedict was a bit tough for me and it might have been the thick slice of ham which may be a plus for most. The breakfast burrito had a good balance of eggs, hash browns and sausage but the wrap was a bit thin. Service was friendly and the place was clean.

    Chicken and waffles

New chicken and waffles spot in Fullerton. I live in placentia and have been wanting a chicken and waffles place since we don't have a Waffle House close by. I think Anaheim is the closest place. These were the best I've ever had. I hope they keep this as a normal menu item. Says limited time, but damn it's so good. Comes with two eggs too. Fresh real butter. The coffee is always strong and dark, not watered down. Thank you Brunch and beyond for coming to the area. if you live in Brea it's like a 5 minute drive also. It was so busy this morning which is a good sign. This place is a welcome addition to the area.

First visit here and we were impressed! We ordered two coffees, a matcha, the chorizo omelette, chilaquiles divorciados (to try both the red and green sauces) with added tender seasoned ribeye and avocado, and a chorizo breakfast burrito; and honestly, everything was delicious. Great flavors across the board and portions were solid. My only caution: the red chilaquiles sauce is VERY spicy. And I say that as someone who can handle spice fairly well. It had amazing flavor, but wow... the real challenge comes later . If you're spice-sensitive, proceed with caution. The green sauce was excellent and will definitely be my go-to next time. Total came out to $86 with tip for everything we ordered, which felt fair for the quality and amount of food/drinks. We'll definitely be back; just sticking to the green chilaquiles next time! Sorry, but all I managed to capture was a picture of the aftermath , clearly we enjoyed it.

If you're in the Fullerton area or up for a quick drive, this spot is worth checking out. We ordered the Turbo Scrambler (great for those wanting a little bit of everything) for my husband, a waffle for little human #1, and chicken fingers for little human #2. Everyone was more than satisfied and nicely refueled after a morning workout. I went with the salsa roja chilaquiles. The salsa was flavorful with just enough kick, and the tortillas had that perfect crunch. Definitely coming back.

This is a great stop next to the college. We had the breakfast sandwiches and chilaquiles. We met the owner, who was welcoming and friendly. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. Another sweet extra was the cute little drawings the barista drew on our cups. The only suggestion I would have is to have more of a "curb appeal." He just opened his place, so I'm sure he's getting to it. The food was really good, and I'm hoping he opens a San Diego location

Food was great!!! Chicken and waffles plate was delicious!! The service and people were so sweet. Strawberry matcha is a must!!

    Green Chilaquiles

Why are there not more people here?! This place is so good. The green chilaquiles were AMAZING. SO SPICY BUT SO GOOD. I came because I was craving waffles and man these hit the spot so hard. Highly highly recommend. Customer service is also superb, everyone is so friendly! This place is also SO CLEAN which is, unfortunately, hard to come by these days.

    Huevos Rancheros

We recently ate here and will definitely be back! Huevos Rancheros were delicious and had a kick to them too! Iced lattes were perfect- strong but flavorful! Also, very sweet and attentive staff which makes all the difference! See ya soon B&B!

The food here is delicious! My boyfriend and I came here for the super spicy Chilaquiles and Antonio (the owner) let us know that the kitchen is still working on their recipe, and toned down the heat and the recipe is now perfected. We decided to get the original super spicy one anyway, which was from yesterday, and it was HOT but so flavorful and good! Antonio let us try to new perfected Salsa Rojo and the heat is turned down but still delicious. The barista drew on our cups which we enjoyed, and was also very friendly. Definitely recommend this new spot for great food and great vibes.

The unenthused server possessed of a French "ennui", bored-with-life vibe offers coffee (good), doesn't know the waffle of the week (not great), and disappears behind a bus station to check her phone for 20 mins at a time rather than walking the floor to check on tables. No buckwheat on hand for the buckwheat pancake I fancied (it's a bulk staple, so how do you run out?). Ordered the brioche french toast and an omelette. While overpriced (~$19 for the french toast) and delivery 20+ minutes after ordering (industry standard is about 10-12 mins for this dish, less for the omelette), taste was good and almost made up for the blasé service and tardiness. Net-net, this was my fourth and final stop at Early Bird. I might miss the french toast, but they won't miss us.
