    TANGY TERI-AVOCADO BURGER
    Isaac Z.

Great place to come if you're craving a good burger. The tangy avocado teriyaki burger was delicious, there's a wide selection of burgers including an option to build your own, and the staff was super friendly. The batter for the onion rings was a little too thick for my liking, but would definitely have to try some of the other sides next time!

Special delicious restaurant during my journey, if you've been following along (see my review for Escape Brewery in Redlands!)... I've been coming to this local joint in Placentia for a few months, working to clean out my dad's house and manage his estate since he passed away. This place has been straight-up perfect service with comfort food, first off because I love a good selecting of local/regional beers, but also... because tater tots make everything better. Great bar seating, indoor and outdoor seating, lots of TVs work sports if that's your thing, but not obnoxiously loud if it's not your thing. I ALWAYS -- at any restaurant-- get the Bleu Burger, which is delicious, but in an effort to step outside my box one day, ordered the Teriyaki Avocado burger and oh my . All the loaded fries/tater tots are amazing but fav tots is Craft and fries are the short rib poutine (obviously). Come eat, drink and be merry, you won't be disappointed. Did I mention the beer selection? Did I mention the loaded onion rings? Did I mention the loaded potstickers? I mean...! Support Local!!

Tasty burgers (esp California and Garlic burgers) made fresh. However the rest of our meal- wings , house chili and tots were a salt bomb (!!) which left us dry mouthed for 24 hours haha. To be honest, the salt level alone will likely keep me from a return visit. But I did appreciate the service and nice beer list here too. Some room for improvement in terms of seasoning(s) but stick with the burgers and beer and you'll be fine!

Delicious burgers, friendly & quick service, clean restaurant! We've been dying to try this place for months, we finally stopped in on a weekend - it wasn't too busy and parking was easy in their large lot. We tried the buffalo chicken loaded fries, house beer battered onion rings (with sauce on the side), garlic burger, and picante burger. Everything was delicious, the onion rings may have been the best we've ever had!!! The batter was thin yet crunchy and not super greasy, the onion strips were the perfect thickness and size, they were just the best. This is a great spot to meet up with friends, for a casual date night, or to celebrate after a sporting event with a team, both for kids and adults! Highly recommend stopping in for yourself, we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Came in craving a good burger and found this spot on Yelp with great reviews. I ordered the Garlic Burger while my wife went with the Cali Burger. The Garlic Burger had really good flavor and the patty was super tender--just wish it packed a little more garlic punch. The Cali Burger was stacked with bacon, avocado, and topped with an egg, making it a hearty and flavorful choice. Overall, the food was delicious, portions were solid, and the experience was great. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

I have quite a few food, allergies, and they were so accommodating. Very yummy.

Food is amazing. The service so lovely. And I actually love atmosphere. I've gone twice. They do not disappoint.

My daughter and I stopped in for a late night meal. So glad we did! We got the classic cheese burger and added extra pickles and grilled mushrooms. It was perfectly Medium and super juicy. We also got a bowl of chili with all the fixings and it did not disappoint. We rounded out our meal with strawberry shake and that sealed the deal... we will be back!

Visited Craft Burger on a Sunday night while out on the town with my dad and two of our friends that live in Placentia. They've been here before but I haven't, so I was looking forward to trying out this cool hole in the wall place! We sat at a table near the entrance above numerous police patches from several California cities. My childhood friend, who is a 911 dispatcher, actually has family in Corona, and when I saw the Corona patch, I just had to take a picture of the entire wall and send it to him. He loved the photo less than a second after I sent it to him. We started off with some beers before ordering our food. My dad and two of our friends requested a sampler of the Unsung Pickler, while I wanted to try a sampler of the Unsung Mimosa. They ended up ordering the Unsung Pickler while I stuck with the Unsung Mimosa, although I view a Mimosa as a morning/brunch kind of drink. I didn't get the chance to try out the Pickler, as I think that pickles aren't a good mix with alcoholic drinks. M As this place is called Craft Burger, they have several delicious burger selections. I ordered their mac attack cheese burger, which was literally PACKED with mac and cheese to the brim of the burger and beyond. My dad and one of our friends both got the garlic burger, which had two massive onion rings on top, and our other friend just got a simple, plain cheeseburger. My dad and I also shared a big side of carne asada tater tots. We knew that we weren't going to finish the whole thing, so good thing we had a microwave and fridge back at our hotel! Amazing burgers and beer selections await here! I'm happy that I was introduced to this place, although I don't live in California myself. I hope to come back again during my next visit!

Been here a couple times now. Food and service are good. This time I finally tried loaded tots/fries. Server recommended Birria or Carne Asada. Went with the Birria, half tots/half fries. Would do all tots if I did it again, and I asked for them well done. The heat on the sauce they provided was a bit much but still delicious. The meat was really good, the tots well cooked. Hubby likes their fried Mozzarella so we usually get that to start. They arrived at the same time as our Mains, which was a little disappointing but everything was still good. Had the mango lemonade which was amazing!

First time at Craft Burger -- and honestly, it was just okay. The burgers looked amazing in photos, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. I ordered the Garlic Burger, a Regular Cheeseburger, and the Garlic Parm Herb Tots. The burgers were a bit bland for my taste -- they could've used a touch more salt or sauce to bring them to life. The tots, however, were crispy and flavorful, definitely the highlight of the meal. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, and surprisingly, it wasn't busy at all. The server was nice and answered my questions about the veggie patty -- which, for anyone curious, is a mix of minced vegetables held together with rice flour. The interior has a cute brewery vibe, and I loved the '80s hits playing in the background -- nice touch! Overall, not a bad experience, but I was hoping for a bit more flavor to match the hype. Might give it another shot in the future.

Best burgers around. My favorite is their Garlic Burger - it's not for the faint hearted. Servers are too-notch. If you go at lunch you get a free side with your burger. Prices are reasonable.

Their burgers are so delicious. Every style we've tried has been incredible. Service is quick, friendly and accurate. Lots of tables and bar seating available. Lots of TVs for game viewing. Amazing spot for happy hour or football games. You must get a shake for dessert too!

Have been to this place several times and they never have disappointed. The food is always hot and delicious. They combine a few unique flavors that surprisingly taste great together. Place is always clean and service pleasant.

Green Tomato Grill -- Hits the Spot Every Time…read more Sometimes you just want food that actually makes you feel good after you eat it... Green Tomato Grill is that place. Fresh, clean, and reasonably priced; it's the kind of spot that earns a regular spot in your rotation without putting a dent in your wallet. If you're only going to take one piece of advice, let it be this: order the vegan breakfast burrito. It is filling in the best possible way, the kind of meal that carries you through the whole day and has you already thinking about the next visit before you've even finished it. It just hits the spot. The crispy cauliflower is worth every bite too... perfectly done and the kind of dish that makes you forget you're eating something good for you. And the house salad? Refreshing, simple, and a solid reminder that when ingredients are quality, you don't need to overthink it. For anyone navigating dietary needs, Green Tomato Grill quietly delivers. Excellent gluten free options, solid vegan choices, and a menu that doesn't make you feel like an afterthought for having them. Whether you're plant based, gluten free, or just looking for something lighter that doesn't sacrifice flavor, this place has you covered. Service isn't going to blow you away, nothing overly warm or memorable, but they take care of you quickly and efficiently and honestly sometimes that's exactly what you need. No fuss, no long waits, just get in, eat well, and get on with your day. And here's the thing that keeps me coming back... consistency. You always know what you're going to get here. No off days, no guessing, no crossing your fingers hoping it's as good as last time. It just is. Every time. That kind of reliability is honestly underrated and harder to find than it should be. Overall it's just good, honest food that refreshes rather than weighs you down. Highly recommend making this one a regular stop.

Revisit? 100% yes!…read more Salad bar is clean and well organized. Everything offered is fresh and carefully chopped. They have my beloved beets and cold rotini, and the ranch is delicious. Since I last went to the Rancho location in 2024, I think the soup bar has gotten even better. The noodles in the chicken soup are now just like the ones I remember at Souplantation. The cream of mushroom is so tasty, with big slices of mushroom. I would even say the soups here are better than at OG Souplantation because I used to skip most of them back in the day. But here I will gladly eat any. Pasta dishes, foccaccia, and muffins are great. I didn't see any dried-out cheese bread left on the board. Big thumbs-up! Dining room and bathroom were clean. The staff did a great job taking our empty plates. I'm crossing my fingers that another Soup 'n Fresh will open closer to the Long Beach area. Staff are nice, but really it's self service. Overall experience was pretty good and a very nostalgic meal. The setup inside is very similar to souplantation, which we all miss so dearly! You enter the restaurant, plates/bowls are to the left. You can choose to go down the salad bar island from the left or right. Soups, pasta, & breads are on the left side wall. Wrapped around the corner are drinks and soft serve stations. There are a decent amount of stalls in the restrooms. Ambiance is nice and bright with table and booth seating. FOOD: soups and pastas were probably my favorite. SOUPS tasted very similar to souplantation, with the typical soups: clam chowder, chicken noodle, chilli, cream of mushroom, cheddar broccoli, minestrone, etc. The PASTA's were actually more flavorful than the usual souplantation ones. Alfredo was delicious, spaghetti and mac & cheese were not bad. The premixed SALADS were not as good. Was so sad the wonton happiness salad was underdressed and barely had any chicken. The other premixed salad they had was Caesar. The Joan's brocolli salad was the same. The salad bar selections were still very plentiful and varied. Dressings were just ok. My favorite pasta salad was still really good. The BREADS were no good at all. Blueberry muffins barely had blueberries. Everything was dry and hard sadly. And of course, I had to end my meal with a soft service ice cream! FYI: there is no TO-GO option, I tried to bring back some to San Diego with no luck.
