I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs with hashbrowns and a pancake. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked right. The ribeye was especially impressive, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality and portion size. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a good experience. The restaurant itself deserves a mention too. It appears to have been recently remodeled or updated. The booths, paint, decorations, and overall atmosphere were clean, fresh, and well thought out. It has that classic diner feel without feeling dated. Good food, fair prices, great staff, and a very nice dining room. Whoever put this place together did a great job. This one was packed with eggs, crispy potatoes, bacon, sausage, ham, melted cheese, and little pieces of tomato and onion all wrapped up in a grilled tortilla. Every bite had a little bit of everything in it, and they definitely don't skimp on the meat. The potatoes made it extra filling too. One thing though... every single time I come to this location I wait at least 15 minutes for my food no matter if it's drive-thru or walk-in. Crispy, not floppy bacon. I can't speak for the other options that take place later in the day, like the burgers, burritos, salads, and other diner-type food, for this is a diner, but I'm sure they do that stuff well, as well. We love coming here. They have a huge variety of food on their menu from breakfast to dinner. I love that I can have breakfast all day here. My hubby loves that he can get Mexican food, burgers or the best fried chicken he has ever had here. Their prices are super reasonable too. Plenty of seating and parking is ok. It does get pretty busy at times. Staff are nice and they bring the food to the table when you dine in. The place is clean and comfortable. We enjoy eating here when we are in the area and wish they had more locations closer to us than just the 2. I was curious because I pass by this busy intersection and so my wife and I went for lunch at this diner at Lakeview and La Palma. My first impression was that the parking could be limited during lunch. It's very clean and the interior was nice with black and red booths and OC murals..,chic and clean. You go to the counter to order first. We ordered the fish sandwich and a burger and a half and half order of fries and onion rings. We got the burger first and maybe 5-7 minutes later we got the fish sandwich and another 5-7 minutes later we got the fries and onions rings. My wife thought the fish sandwich was dry and asked for mayonnaise and the fish was tasteless and bland. My burger was cold and had too much lettuce and very little tomato, onions and pickles. Table service is general was okay but I was curious why the food couldn't come all the once? Overall, I would rate the experience as okay but needs improvement read more

Was Tom's place, now Perry's place but, I can confirm for those that have been here during Tom's era, it's the same place lol Came through on a mid weekday night around 8pm, ordered the Perry's fries (pastrami fries) $11.99 and also a half and half of fried zucchini and onion rings $8.99 and both items were amazing per usual Their pastrami fries are topped with THICK slices of pastrami. If you're someone who frequents the hat pastrami, imagine the complete opposite of their thin sliced pastrami. The flavor is nearly the same however. The fried zucchini was delicious, super thick spears of zucchini, thinly battered and fried. Onion rings were really good (just wish they included more in comparison to the zucchini) Service at the drive through was quick and friendly as it always is, ambiance inside seemed quiet given it was a weeknight. The food, service, and dining room were top notch. To top it off, service was quick. We got the burger specials with side of fries and a drink. I'm not sure who does the pricing here, but something seems way off. I get it that fast food joints are going through a price hike everywhere...but, at $15 i might as well go to Esperanza Burgers down the street and get a Club Sandwich special that's actually cheaper than the 1 Sandwich. The food is not bad for what it is, sadly, I will probably not be coming back... The service was quick and fast, but if i am spending nearly $20 for one combo, I'd rather wait until i get home. I think our boy Perry took over an old spot and it seems like the staff and some of the menu items are the same. I think that's cool. It's your familiar burger joint serving breakfast all day with a huge variety of food. The prices are extremely reasonable though. I've had a couple of my go to burger spots raise their prices quite a bit so it's cool to see they're keeping it affordable here while making the food actually better than my other burger spots. We had their pastrami chili cheese fries. 9/10. I asked them to put pastrami in their breakfast burrito and they obliged but then it seemed under seasoned. I think if I chose their other meat options like bacon or sausage that wouldn't have been an issue. Breakfast burrito 7/10 but that was probably my fault but the crown jewel. The prize of the day was the chicken and waffles. I added eggs but this bombbbb. Chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy, and moist. Waffle toasty yet fluffy.
