Sandwich plus!! I wanted to support a small mom and pop shop and this was place exactly what I was looking for. Seem like an older couple running the show. Super friendly. Great service. Wow for a little mom & pop shop they really get orders out quick (and during lunch hour). Came in around 12:40 PM today and there were two others in line. Perfect that gave me time to look over the menu, I decide to order the turkey + avocado on French roll & my husband the meatball sub on wheat bread + potato salad (both regular) . An older gentleman took our order and was very helpful with questions about the menu. We waited maybe 5 minutes for our order, I would definitely say order the larger size if you are really hungry. But for us the portion of the regular were great and we got full. The quality of the ingredients is what I loved because everything was fresh, my avocado, the lettuce, the deli meat. It was sooo good! I would say the only thing it could use for me is some salt and pepper and maybe some olive oil. But that's just my preference, it was fantastic without it as well. I did notice they give out the small banana peppers if you'd like to add some spice. The potato salad was good though nothing too spectacular about it, I would maybe try the soup next time. 2 regular subs, 1 vitamin water, and potato salad came out to $29, not too bad for the portions and quality. This is a definite Mom & Pop shop! Pop is taking orders and Mom is making them I ordered a large Tuna in Squaw (I love the political incorrectness here. That just needs to stop) As you can see in my pic, it was actually one whole sandwich plus another half The bread was fresh, the Tuna Salad was very tasty with not too much mayo (I really despise mayo ) Less than $20 for the sandwich & a large drink Would I return? Love this small sandwich shop. Very kind owner and quality sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. I enjoy coming here and love that they offer squaw bread and alfalfa sprouts. The large size sandwich is one and half sandwiches of squaw bread. The turkey and bacon with avocado was delicious and the bacon was very crunchy. My hubby loved his on a wheat roll. The sandwiches come with pickles, lettuce and tomatoes, and mayo. We paid extra to add the sprouts and the gave us a generous portion too. They have a selection of drinks in a cooler and fountain too. Their potato salad was also tasty and I appreciated that it did not have onions in it. We will definitely return here when we are in the area. Just be sure to check out their hours as they are not open late. The place has plenty of seating and parking and is clean. Lunchtime yelpers --- did a quick search and found this spot . I was short on time and didn't want to get something " fried " . This place was clean and available :) cashier was friendly and quick . Just a standard sandwich. Great friendly customer service but nothing special about the sandwich. I had a "regular" size #2 Italian Cold Cuts on a French roll. Decent amount of meat but for the size and taste, for $11 I'd rather get the same size at Jersey Mike's for a few bucks less. But this is definitely a worthwhile place to stop in if you're nearby and just need a quick grab & go bite. Lots of seating area inside if you have the time to chill here. Decent turnaround time for my sandwich to be made. I went out of my way to drive 10 minutes up the freeway to try this place out; would not do that again, but would stop by if I was already in the area for something else and was hungry. read more

This place has some of the best sandwiches in the OC hands down. If you haven't eaten here yet, make the effort to swing buy. I usually come for the egg sandwich with onions or the pastrami!
