Wow for a little mom & pop shop they really get orders out quick (and during lunch hour). Came in around 12:40 PM today and there were two others in line. Perfect that gave me time to look over the menu, I decide to order the turkey + avocado on French roll & my husband the meatball sub on wheat bread + potato salad (both regular) . An older gentleman took our order and was very helpful with questions about the menu. We waited maybe 5 minutes for our order, I would definitely say order the larger size if you are really hungry. But for us the portion of the regular were great and we got full. The quality of the ingredients is what I loved because everything was fresh, my avocado, the lettuce, the deli meat. It was sooo good! I would say the only thing it could use for me is some salt and pepper and maybe some olive oil. But that's just my preference, it was fantastic without it as well. I did notice they give out the small banana peppers if you'd like to add some spice. The potato salad was good though nothing too spectacular about it, I would maybe try the soup next time. 2 regular subs, 1 vitamin water, and potato salad came out to $29, not too bad for the portions and quality. There is complimentary wifi here and plenty of seating if you want to sit and do work. All in all great little spot for a good sandwich:)

This is a definite Mom & Pop shop! Pop is taking orders and Mom is making them I ordered a large Tuna in Squaw (I love the political incorrectness here. That just needs to stop) As you can see in my pic, it was actually one whole sandwich plus another half The bread was fresh, the Tuna Salad was very tasty with not too much mayo (I really despise mayo ) Less than $20 for the sandwich & a large drink Would I return? Absolutely!!! They have very limited hours so make sure you check to see if they are open before you go!
Lunchtime yelpers --- did a quick search and found this spot . I was short on time and didn't want to get something " fried " . This place was clean and available :) cashier was friendly and quick . Plenty of seating areas available and yes, very clean. I got a chicken sandwich on sourdough and added sprouts . Five star is for the overall turnaround time, cleanliness , and freshness of the sandwich. Sandwich was just good not mind blowing but good . If I was in the area, I'd eat here again .
Love this small sandwich shop. Very kind owner and quality sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. I enjoy coming here and love that they offer squaw bread and alfalfa sprouts. The large size sandwich is one and half sandwiches of squaw bread. The turkey and bacon with avocado was delicious and the bacon was very crunchy. My hubby loved his on a wheat roll. The sandwiches come with pickles, lettuce and tomatoes, and mayo. We paid extra to add the sprouts and the gave us a generous portion too. They have a selection of drinks in a cooler and fountain too. Their potato salad was also tasty and I appreciated that it did not have onions in it. We will definitely return here when we are in the area. Just be sure to check out their hours as they are not open late. The place has plenty of seating and parking and is clean. This is a small locally owned business so please support it when you can. I personally like their sandwich better than those chains.
Just a standard sandwich. Great friendly customer service but nothing special about the sandwich. I had a "regular" size #2 Italian Cold Cuts on a French roll. Decent amount of meat but for the size and taste, for $11 I'd rather get the same size at Jersey Mike's for a few bucks less. But this is definitely a worthwhile place to stop in if you're nearby and just need a quick grab & go bite. Lots of seating area inside if you have the time to chill here. Decent turnaround time for my sandwich to be made. I went out of my way to drive 10 minutes up the freeway to try this place out; would not do that again, but would stop by if I was already in the area for something else and was hungry.
This was my first time here. It was very clean when I entered. I ordered the French Dip. It was fantastic! Very tasteful generous portions reasonably priced. This is a real deal sandwich shop. I'll definitely be back
This place has some of the best sandwiches in the OC hands down. If you haven't eaten here yet, make the effort to swing buy. I usually come for the egg sandwich with onions or the pastrami! I was greeted with good customer service, the owner always says hello when customers walk in. They have free wifi also. Parking is easy in and out and the place is big with plenty of seating. I'm sure the breakfast menu is amazing. They have soups and salads to enjoy also. They are closed on the weekends. Food Rating: Toasted Egg Sandwich 9.0/10 Pastrami Sandwich 8.4/10
We went bc of the great reviews. But we will return bc the food was fantastic! Fresh ingredients and hearty amount of meat. I had the small turkey and avocado sandwich and hub had large hot roast beef with provolone. His first bite, he said "perfect ". People were extremely friendly and the restaurant is clean. Can't recommend more.
This is my all time favorite sandwich spot. Food is always made fresh and prices are decent. I noticed the prices went up a little but so has every other place. Great quality food and amazing customer service. Clean and spacious dining area. Perfect for a quick bite or to-go orders. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem i found if your looking for a great sandwich for lunch. You can get your sandwich on bread or a sub roll, hot or cold made just the way you like it. The menu is big so lots of choices to choose from. I had a large turkey with bacon and cheese and they dont skimp on portion size I couldn't eat all of it. The service is very friendly and the eatery is very clean. I totally recommend Sandwich Plus. read more

Quaint little shop with a fairly large dining area. Stopped in after a test at Kaiser because I was craving a pastrami sandwich but ordered a French Dip instead. Sandwich was huge and super yum! And it truly was hot! Gave me a plentiful Supply of au jus. Super friendly service! read more

first time going here and our sandwiches were amazing! the owner, Chris, took my order over the phone and was patient and informative. Chris also repeated my order before ending our call to make sure my order was correct and also asked for my time of arrival. there is a little bit of a language barrier but he did not get upset when i needed him to repeat something nor did i. when i arrived to the location my sandwiches were ready. Chris stopped what he was doing in the back of the kitchen to welcome me and help me check out. his business accepts apple pay which is always a plus. we will be placing orders in the future! read more

Great little sandwich shop located in la palma/Anaheim. I used to come here when I worked in Lapalma and I just happen to be in the area. Great sandwiches it's a must stop. As far as service-don't expect much. Owner took a phone order after I was already at the register and ready to order. In cases like this the employees should place the call on hold and tend to the people there in person especially if they arrived before the call in. On another note the person behind me got his sandwich before I did. Not saying I got bad service it was just a bit rude. All this aside, Place is clean and I'd come here over a subway anytime. Visited it for the first time today. The sandwich was sooo good. It was nice and toasty on a cold day like today. The chicken noodle soup was one of the best soups I've had! Definitely coming back to try the other sandwiches and items on the menu. Parking was easy to find and the place is easy to find cause it's right on the street. Does it seem lately that everyone seems to be over generous with giving out 5 star reviews on Yelp? To me a 5 star means I'd drive 40+ miles to eat there again. With that being said Sandwich Plus is A-OK. If I happen to be in the neighborhood and was craving a turkey sandwich then sure I would stop by again. But I would never ever drive 10 miles out of the way to eat here. It was a turkey sandwich ... all the stuff inside was fresh, it was assembled very neat. But at the end of the day is that worth a 30% mark up over Subway? Probably not for me. Maybe I'm just a cheap ass that doesn't mind a couple of pickles outside of the bread when I unwrap my sammy? Speaking of bread their's is not spectacular by any means. I love carbs and I ended up taking the top of my bread off. Mediocre bread not worth the carbs, I'd rather eat extra potato chips! If you come here with no expectations it will be A-OK. If you come here expecting a 5 star oh my god this is crazy delicious sandwich shop you might just be a little disappointed. read more

This was just okay. Definitely not 4.5 stars. Ordered a hot pastrami sandwich. After I ordered from the menu, the gentleman behind the counter presented a piece of paper with a different price than what was on the menu. A little weird. I didn't bother with it though because I know everyone is having a hard time with Covid recovery. My sandwich was extremely hot and the bread was fresh and soft. The pastrami meat was decent quality with very little fat/gristle. They skimped on the mustard so I asked for more... he gave me some packets, but they tasted funny... possibly old. Overall, I'd give it three stars. read more

Tried the large meatball sandwich with chicken noodle soup on the side. This was very delicious and the portion is generous. The french bread is delicious and the meatballs are full of flavor. The only minor negative I might have to add is that the cheese is probably microwaved and not grilled, but overall the sandwich is as good as people here commented. Plan to try out all the other recommended sandwiches from here on out. Service is quick and the restaurant is very clean. read more

Came here for lunch after a grueling week for the first time ever after hearing about it from friends. The menu, though daunting, was filled with various intriguing items that each struck me as my next potential meal. In the end, I shared a toasty french beef sandwich with a delectable au jus dip and an avocado, roast beef and cheese sandwich. I was stunned when it came out. It was ginormous! And the meat that had been so generously ladled into the sandwiches as well as the melted cheese glazing the top of the sandwich made for a plate of simple temptation. The avocado added a creamy sensation that brought the texture of the sandwich to life. Because of this experience, my life will never be the same, making this restaurant an easy call for a sublime meal any day of the week. read more

I've only been to this sandwich shop 4-5 times in the last year or so. For some reason I always forget its there. Even though its close to work. Today fortunately I was solo for lunch and was thinking Pollo Loco when the light in my head went on again....right next door is Sandwich Plus. A sammy sounds good. First impressions make a lasting one. Large shop, very clean, great service, nice polite owner, attentive staff, are some adjectives I'd use to describe this place. English was always my worst subject ..... I hope those are adjectives. The sammys are not a bunch of hyped up gourmet stuff with things you never heard of. Nor are they the latest Japanese-Dutch-African fusion deal of the week. This is good old fashioned sammy shop. They make both hot and cold samdwiches with like 50 standard choices. Or you can make up your own as they're cool on improv's too. They even have a bunch of breakfast goodies, soups and salads too. Sides of macaroni salad, potato salad, chips and lots of nice drink choices plus a beverage bar. Food prep and care: Maybe its the Japanese ladies making the sammys but the sandwiches have the detail of sushi. Very neat. Tomatoes pickles and onions sliced very thin, lettuce that isn't falling all over the place, purposely stacked meats an cheeses, Mayo spread thinly and not slopped on the soft rolls like the gorillas at S-way or Togo's do. Food: I've only had the cold sandwiches here. Note to self "Must try more hot sammys." #2 Italian cold cut 7" good sammy but lacks a spicier kick that I like on my Italians. #10 Egg salad and bacon on white. Nice eggy. I never get this outside of home 'cuz I kind of funny that way. Mine, moms or no deal but the sammy here was good. #16 The works, home run. So much between the buns. It all comes together in my mouth to make my tongue happy. Yup its a keeper. #33 Club you almost don't want to eat it because its picture perfect.
