I had such a wonderful experience at Byblos Restaurant in Anaheim! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful Mediterranean vibes that make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The food was absolutely delicious, with distinctive flavors that made every dish feel special. The service was also excellent--very friendly, welcoming, and professional. You can really feel the care that goes into both the food and the overall experience. Definitely a place I would recommend and look forward to visiting again! read more

Oh no, my favorite restaurant has gone down the drain. It started with a simple rice that changed to charging for the extra pita bread. I don't know what kind of meat the chicken changed to but it is terrible. Our last time there we got food poisoning. I cannot be more disappointed. This was my favorite by far place and I will never go back here again this last time my son-in-law brought it over for dinner luckily I didn't get to eat it, but everybody else was incredibly sick as soon as I tried it because I didn't believe it could be this place not my favorite place. I tried it. The chicken was disgusting immediately. I could taste that it was spoiled. It was quite a disappointment again I will never be back. This place has gone down the drain by far!! such a sad story. read more

Amazing experience at Byblos Mediterranean Grill! The beautiful, clean interior and patio make it a perfect lunch spot. The salmon was so delicious that even my wife, who never eats fish, couldn't stop eating it! The shrimp had an incredible chargrilled flavor, and the combo platters with authentic Lebanese rice were fire. Delicious food, warm hospitality, and an easy 10/10! Highly recommend! read more

Solid Mediterranean spot in OC. I came last Friday night and ordered their beef shawarma platter. Lots of meat and very flavorful. The hummus was just ok, and I would have preferred more rice. I appreciated that they gave lots of their bread and sauces. The garlic sauce tasted great with everything. Inside wasn't too busy and average amount of seating. Price is not too bad Overall 7.8/10. read more

Got the shawarma wrap for $11.95 and was deeply disappointed. The meat was not cut thin like it should be. Instead it was tough and mostly just gristle. Almost inedible. Then they ask you for a tip after you pay for the overpriced wrap that only comes with either hot sauce or garlic sauce that I had to inquire about to get. It was not offered. What is the tip for? You order at the counter and have to pick up your own food. Just like In and Out, but In and Out food is a good value and even they don't ask for a tip. Oh and the table and chairs outside were dirty. Not sure how they have a 4.6 rating here. read more

If comfort food and a warm hug had a baby, it would be this plate. I ordered the chicken & beef plate..omg..this meal understood the assignment. The rice? Fluffy, flavorful, and living its best life. The hummus? So creamy i couldnt phatom each bite.. But what really caught me off guard in the best way was their house hot sauce. U don't always find a Middle Eastern spot that nails heat like that, and wow... it elevated everything. Pair that with their garlic sauce and suddenly I'm questioning all my past food choices. Huge shoutout to Shenn, who was incredibly sweet and helpful just pure good vibes from the start. And Paco in the kitchen? Absolute legend. He spoke Spanish with me, showed me the ropes, and made the experience feel personal and welcoming. También se agradece el cariño, hermano And then there's Sam. The man casually checks on you while you're eating outside in their beautiful, serene patio, asks how the food is, and actually means it. We ended up chatting, and the whole place just felt like home. No rush. No stiffness. Just good people, good energy, and incredible food. Byblos isn't just a meal..it's a vibe ‍ Come hungry. Leave happy. Probably come back the next day read more

Soo good! My boyfriend and I had the number 7 -- all of the meat was stupid tender and flavorful. And the garlic sauce is fire! The staff are very friendly and polite, we got our food in 5 minutes even during the lunch rush. Overall the restaurant has a really chill atmosphere, with great seating inside and out. The aroma hits you right as you walk in the front door. Wonderful food and wonderful experience. We'll be back soon! read more

A nice fast casual Lebanese restaurant. The man at that counter was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make our experience great!! The menu is simple and I thought prices were very fair. The food was excellent quality and it options were above average. L I had the steak shawarma plate and my daughter had the chicken kabobs plate. I thought everything was good -- proteins, hummus, tabouli, pickled vegetables. The garlic sauce was as good or better than Zankhou's. Rice and pita were average. I would absolutely return here! read more

I've been here many times and need to finally post a review. What can I say? Byblos is the best food in the area! Fresh, very clean, delicious, the best friendly helpful staff, and I'm extremely satisfied!!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't forget the garlic sauce and the hot sauce is just right for my taste buds! read more

This was a fabulous little find! We came here for a lunch between meetings, and I was blown away with the customer service. They made great recommendations and the food was so delicious afterwards I had a lot of hummus left over and so I took it to go and they even offered me some extra bread that they had. Mind you I had already sat back down and he came up to me and gave me the bread. It was just a simple thing, but it really meant a lot to me. But truly, what was cut above was the exceptional service and how they checked in on you even though it's a fast casual restaurant. I will be back. read more

Easy 5 stars for me! The only sad thing is not finding this place sooner. Located in a plaza right off the 91 freeway, this was a great find. The owner, Simon, was very friendly and welcoming. We looked over the menu and wanted the combo kabob plate. It comes with chicken, kofta, and I think filet mignon. Of course, they include rice, hummus, and some greens. Oh and pita bread too. The food was made fresh and when we got it, we instantly knew it was going to be delicious. Just look at the pictures! The meats were all seasoned well and tender. No joke, the best Mediterranean style food I've had. I really wanted to try their baklava but I guess they ran out! Which means it's probably worth getting the next time I see it available. Will I come back again? Absolutely! Already planning the next time I can come back and enjoy the delicious food from here again. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. The food is great, but the hospitality is even better. Thanks again, Simon! read more

//Food: Chicken and Beef Shawarma, Chicken and Beef Kabobs Byblos is a little hidden, but it is definitely a good little spot to eat at if you are in the area. After spending some time at the near by medical offices I was hungry for something filling and Byblos was the right choice. I ordered the shawarma combo, which comes with both chicken and beef, pickled beats, hummus, and some pita. The meat was a little dry as it probably had be roasting for a little while, but the overall flavor was delicious. The kabobs were anything but dry, they were super juicy, had the same delicious flavor as the shawarma, and paired nicely with the toum, hummus, and rice. //Restaurant: There is plenty of parking outside, as there is a few other restaurants and business in this shopping center. Inside there is about ~6-8ish tables, but there is also an outdoor seating area as well. The restaurant was clean, the food was cooked quickly, and service was spot on. //Notes: Would I go out of my way to come as opposed to going to "Little Arabia" on Brookhurst? Probably not, but if I was in the area I would definitely stop by again. read more

Update: Went back today, (a week later) got the fries - WOW!!! And the rice, DEFINITELY improved- updated my 4 stars to FIVE!! I love this place!! Saw this on IG, and decided to turn around from where I was headed to get this instead! And what a fantastic decision!!!! The cashier was super friendly and helpful- and I ordered the combo shawarma plate, and a side of falafel The falafel was absolutely delicious and melted in my mouth, so far my favorite from anywhere The meat - holy moly - the steak, tender and charred on the outside, and the chicken, also charred - so good And let me tell you, grab a bag or two of those pita chips!!!!!!! Sheesh - amazing My ONLY note? The rice was a bit dry, maybe needed some more butter? I'll try fries next time, probably in a day or so! LOL read more

Oh my god... I had this place twice this week and it's so delicious. First, I tried the Byblos Chicken wrap then I came back for the Beef Shawarma wrap. I give each of them 5/5. On an ordinary Saturday, my husband and I decided to try out something new (we brought two Gen Zers for their perspective too). Hidden in the back corner of the Link OC center, this unassuming hole in the wall place has a cool vibe with tasty food to match. My #1 dude and I shared the #11 Shwarma combo plate - the beef was aromatic and delicious, the chicken had hints of sweetness and savory in perfect balance. The dish came with Persian rice and pickled turnips (LOVE). The younger generation tried the #7 combo plate featuring a beef and chicken Kabab and a Kafta. Begrudgingly, the stepson let me try his. The beef kabab was nice tasting of a wine marinade and Persian spices. The kafta was the star of the show. It was moist and seasoned to perfection. Late in the meal my husband broke out the homemade garlic sauce. WTH? Where has that been all my life? It was soooooo good, fresh and garlicky. OMG, get me a spoon. Sorry babe, garlic kisses today. It was transcendent. MUST TRY. Great experience. Good food. We will be back. read more

Byblos was delicious! I was in the area and met up with my girlies to grab a healthy yet filling lunch and we landed here. The portions are very reasonable, perfect enough to hold you off all day but not too much to where you leave wanting to take a nap. I had the chicken kabob plate and was SO happy I chose this. The rice was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly charred on the outside and perfectly juicy on the inside. The hummus was very delicious and perfectly tied everything in. I also was pleased to see that the have my favorite sauces in both spicy and the garlic!! It's a must try. Service was super friendly, quick and of quality. The manager came out to ask if everything was great and honestly it was. I appreciated the hospitality. Food is very high quality, priced very affordable and fair. Parking was super easy. If you don't know what something is, their descriptions are very simple and straight forward if you're new to Mediterranean food. Ambiance is very casual and welcoming which I enjoyed. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is amazing since it happens to be a beautiful sunny summer afternoon. 10/10! read more

I always stop here when I have an appointment at the Kaiser nearby. I usually get the beef and chicken kabab plate. Both are always juicy and delicious. Make sure you get extra garlic sauce. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and from the moment I walked in the cashier was beyond kind so attentive, warm and genuinely helpful. A few days later I realized I had accidentally left my wallet behind. When I called they immediately knew it was mine and were so happy to reconnect it with me. My wallet contained my driver's license several credit cards and $100 in cash and every single thing was returned exactly as it was. My husband picked it up and nothing was missing. That level of honesty, care and integrity is rare. I am deeply grateful and truly impressed by the wonderful people behind this place and the incredible service they provide.
