I'll give this restaurant 5 star for being Persian but they need to start making better food and having more selections like the whole some choice in Irvine. This place has a lot of potential but people usually don't eat here because the variety does not look good quality. Please start having more Persian selections. Even the store needs to start carrying more Persian brands like Sadaf. A lot of Persians in the area are looking for a wholesome choice store alike. Ordered 3 dishes here yesterday for a party -lobia polo -bademjoon -ash After getting home and preparing I noticed the lobia was left over and old, I put the rice back in the catering tray it came in to return to them today. I arrived today, being met by the lady and the cooks eyes watching me approach from the parking lot with their tray in my hand, and was greeted with rudeness from the lady, and the little cook in the back laughing and giving me cold looks until I call him out on if he gets quiet and stops, after a loooong drawn process of questioning and giving me a hard time, I asked when did you make this lobia to which her and the cook both answered differently , cook says right before you came in yesterday and she says I cook the lobia in the morning , so if it's not fresh you didn't eat it fast enough.. I couldn't help laugh, and told her the food tasted a couple days old, and the irony of the place being inside a "fresh food" If it wasn't for the terrible attitude of the staff I wouldn't be here. Okay so if this review was per each item in the menu it would of been better. The chicken kabab and chicken barg was tasteless but the spicy chicken, their baghali polo and ghorme sabzi was decent! And the price is very reasonable!! I have not tried any of the beef kabobs yet. read more

Covid-19 takeout review. Beef koobideh ($10.99): the beef was juicy, but could use a little more seasonings. Chicken koobideh ($10.99): better than the beef for sure. The koobideh was HUGE and juicy. The flavors were there, but a little more seasonings and a grilled chili pepper would make the meal much better. Most places even serve koobideh or kabab with sliced onions or salad. Their Main Dishes are hot, fast and good. Their side dishes of unfriendliness, frowns and attitude are not so appetizing. And if they are graded on consistency with their demeanor, they get an A. The 'tude is consistent across the entire staff. It's not one of them, it's pretty much all of the them and all of the time. They must hate their jobs or us customers or both. I show gratitude and I smile. It's no match against their frowns. It's really a shame that their food and service are not equal. read more
