The shawarma combo plate was delicious - both the chicken and the beef were flavorful and tender! The salad was light and refreshing. The rice was nicely cooked and fluffy. The hummus and garlic sauce were excellent. Friendly service, nice space.

Had a family lunch and was able to make a reservation during busy weekend which was a big plus in choosing to come. It has a bright ambiance and welcoming staff. I believe this is Syrian cuisine so some of the menu items I was a bit unfamiliar with when comparing usual Mediterranean restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was quite a large portion. I got the kefta kabobs with a spicy tomato salsa like sauce. It came with 4 kebabs so I had leftovers for the next day. Most places usually give 2. It also came with an interesting flatbread pizza sandwich thing on the side. I also discovered how delicious Muhammara is. It's a dip that's made with walnuts and pomegranate molasses. Highly recommend trying this if you want something different than hummus for a starter.

TO GO REVIEW Take a look at my picture and you'll understand. What I ordered, the $27 ribeye wrap, does not reflect the value of what I received. It was a plate of French fries, a few pieces of greens, and a thin wrap with small cuts of beef. This place is overpriced for what I received and I would not come back.

Hard to believe that I've not written a review of Aleppo's Kitchen which I have been visiting ever since I move here to Anaheim and when they still were on Brookehurst Ave. Fast forward the restaurant is now within minutes from my place and it is very nice and clean and modern. For my lunch I ended up getting the Lentil Soup ( which I love) and the Gyro Flatbread. The Flatbread was ok but not great and I wish I would have ordered something different instead. On the other side the service was nice and friendly and I definitely will be back! Bon Appetit.

The falafel plate was the best a falafel I've ever had!

Food is bomb! The tea and Turkish coffee were magical! The staff was super kind, and the owners themselves were very generous and personally attentive to my entire group of friends! The beautiful, antique, and unique interiors were a vibe, as if I was transported to a different world of warmth and delightful food!

Never am I going to come to this place again For the price we paid the portions were tiny The food was stale and badly prepared The pita was store bought so stale and dry We ordered their kibbeh platter for appetizers.. it has such a potent meat smell like omg it grossed me out The shawarma combo which the hostess recommended was soooo dry and flavorless And lastly their mix kabab platter omg the least said the better the meat kabab was raw and undercooked although we said medium rare and that scent of meat like omg We told her to take it back instead of getting a fresh plate they brought the same platter back.. their only charging for their ambiance Never going back

I received a 15% off ticket when I parked for an Angels game. Aleppo's Kitchen shares the same parking lot. I finally got a chance to use it for my birthday. I ordered the kebab plate that came with chicken, fillet mignon, and the ground beef skewer. My wife got the lamb shank. When the dishes arrived, I immediately tried the rice and it didn't have any flavor the same with the meats. Only the chicken tasted delicious. My wife's said the filet mignon was too hard to chew the lamb was cooked nicely, though I had higher expectations, and the meals were priced high. She doesn't want to come back.

Had a great experience eating Mediterranean food. The pitas were hot and that's a huge plus. I hate cold pita. Overall great. I'm going back.

We are blessed with a lot of excellent Arab restaurants in Anaheim and glad I finally gave Aleppo's a try. Stand outs were the Syrian style dumplings in yogurt sauce, lahmajeen flatbread, grape leaves and grilled halloumi salad. Kibbeh was also good but probably don't need the mixed platter as they are just different shapes of the same thing. Also didn't really care for their falafel. And don't skip the pot of mint tea! Service was friendly and the restaurant is inviting with plenty of seating. A little on the pricier side for the style of food, but they have several unique items on the menu and there are still a few I need to come back to try!

Aleppo's had great reviews, so we knew we had to try it. We added a couple platters so we could get a better feel for the place. It's also a hookah lounge, which I'm sure gets super busy at night. The Lamb Mansaf was good, but honestly, the portion was smaller than expected -- kinda weird because "Mansaf" in Arabic means a big dish. The dish should've been bigger; I felt like it needed more rice. That said, the almonds added a nice crunch, and it was packed with warm spices like cardamom, allspice, and cinnamon. We also ordered a variety of meats with rice to sample different dishes. The chicken and steak were fire, but the kofta needed some work. The rice was also smaller than I expected. Overall, a solid spot with tasty food, great service and chill atmosphere! Just wish the portions were a bit bigger!

Ambience: Pretty chill spot tucked into the corner of a plaza -- not fancy, but definitely comfortable. There's an indoor area for dining and an outdoor patio that's popular for hookah. Even on a busy Friday evening, there was plenty of space and easy parking in the plaza. My only small gripe is that the parking lot was a bit dark; some extra lighting would make it feel cozier and safer at night. Food: Absolutely amazing. Every dish impressed me. We started with the dipping sampler -- hummus, baba ghanoush, and a red pepper sauce. The hummus was silky and rich, the baba ghanoush had the perfect tang without being too salty, and the sauces paired beautifully with the warm, fresh pita (three generous rounds, about 6 inches each). The Mediterranean fries arrived last, but they were worth the wait -- perfectly crispy, topped with tomatoes, feta, parsley, and paprika. Delicious on their own or dipped in any of the sampler sauces. The beet salad was another standout -- a balanced mix of arugula and beets with pickled onions, walnuts, feta, and radishes tossed in a light vinaigrette. Generous portion, easily sharable for two or even three people. And the lamb shank... incredible. Tender, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone soft. The rice underneath was aromatic and topped with toasted almonds, with a tangy yogurt sauce that brought it all together. Easily one of the best lamb dishes I've had in a long time. Service: Friendly, attentive, and relaxed. The food came out very quickly. The staff checked in just enough without hovering. Food came out steadily, and even though it was a busy evening, everything was served hot and fresh. Overall: Aleppo's Kitchen is a hidden gem -- unpretentious, delicious, and satisfying on every level. I'd 100% come back and highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Mediterranean food done right.

I really enjoyed this place ! I've been twice now. I found it through searching yelp near me. This area is rich with restaurants but I was so happy I chose this place out of all the options. Excellent place to get tasty food. Everything I've tried here has been super delicious! First thing I noticed walking in was how clean it was . Spotless. The place is well taken care of which shows that the owners and staff have pride in their establishment.service is excellent . Overall a great place to dine in. I highly recommend.

Premium combo = entree + $10 Entree + premium drink + masala fries I tried the bowl with mild biryani, malai chicken, green (mild) sauce, and guava mango lassi. The bowl already comes with the raita sauce (a yogurt sauce), so I got the green sauce as my choice of sauce after asking the staff for recommendations. The protein portion was super generous and very well-seasoned with their spice. The green sauce was my favorite and everything in the bowl mixed well together. The whole bowl was delicious and it didn't feel heavy, wasn't greasy. The Kashmiri Chai and the guava mango lassi are the most popular drinks, so I decided to try the guava mango lassi. The flavors blended so well. One wasn't more overpowering than the other, and the sweetness level was perfect for me, also, not too much ice. Masala fries So crispy and well-seasoned!! Could be a little less salty. Gulab jamun cheesecake Also asked for recommendations for their cheesecakes and decided to go with this one. It has the fried donut ball in the middle with syrup. It didn't taste too sweet to me, but I also have higher tolerance for sweets. The center has so much of the cheesecake cheese and it was super soft and fluffy. So delicious! The samosas were also great! Crispy and not too oily. I also love that they use compostable takeout containers, including the lid! The interior looks nice and there are a few seats available. There's outdoor shaded tables and seats too. The only downside is that I wish the outdoor seats were a bit cleaner. There is a free parking garage, just make sure to park in the retail spaces. There was enough parking. The staff members are so helpful and very friendly. Can order with a staff member or using their kiosk. HIGHLY recommend!! Would definitely go back!

There were only 3 main options: 1) lamb shank, 2) lamb ribs, and 3) lamb skewers. All halal and made with New Zealand lamb which was awesome! We tried all 3: one plate of the shank/ribs combination (which came with a bed of rice, pickled veggies, and a bowl of soup) and also one order of the lamb skewers which came with 3 skewers. Everything was excellent but the lamb shank was truly amazing and my favorite item - the meat was outrageously tender and just fell off the bone as I tried to take a piece - we had the shank just basic with no rub. The short ribs were a close second (we had these with the bbq rub and it was tremendous if you wanted more flavor). The skewers were decent - we had them plain because I didn't want anything too spicy but I would def recommend getting the rub for these if I were to get them again. The pickled veggies balanced the heavy meat and rice items perfectly to round out the meal. We also tried the jasmine yuzu tea drink and the homemade yoghurt which ended the meal nicely. I'm not a fan of lamb in general and generally avoid it at most restaurants, but I was loving every bite. Would highly recommend to try this place if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner.
