    Rice Pudding -

A friend recommended this place, and it did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like friends who had come to visit. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. My family and I love Mediterranean food, but we had never tried Egyptian food before. Let me tell you, we will definitely be regular customers from now on! The food was amazing. I had the beef shawarma bowl, and the portion was huge. I actually love that because it means I have delicious leftovers for today too. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. We also tried two different desserts, and both were outstanding: creamy, delicious, and not overly sweet. You can tell they're made with quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Excellent food, generous portions, warm hospitality, and an overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Tasa2Go has great tasting entrees and dessert. Food was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sadly, the seating area is quite small and its very hot inside, so the ambiance was not great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can choose to sit outside but it's not very comfortable and doesn't look very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, regardless of the not so great seating arrangements the food was so good and I would still go back. Decent customer service.

Wow, one of the best meals I've had in Fullerton. This was my first time trying Egyptian food and I loved it. I ordered the kabab wrapped in lamb fat sandwich and i audibly let out a "wow". It was juicy, perfect ratio of meat to fat, and the sauce and onions added a little bit of brightness. I paired this with the mango juice. I was in heaven. It was so delicious, I brought my friends with me the next time. I can't wait to come back and try more on their menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a few tables inside and outside, but I can see this place potentially becoming very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great, the cashier was helpful and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend trying Tasa2Go.

Great Egyptian restaurant, great service and amazing owner. My bf was very pleased with everything given that he grew up eating different types of foods. It was my first experience and thought it was great. My chicken was cooked well and flavored nicely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only thing was there are limited seats inside however plenty of space outside the patio area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The other was my bf felt it was a little too saucy and will ask for sauce on the side next time. The owner was very friendly and informative about how he cooks all the dishes. We definitely will be coming back.

I had to be in Fullerton again, so I took some time to look on Yelp to figure out what I would have for lunch the night before. While I was scrolling through places, I saw an Egyptian place. I've never had Egyptian food before, so I really wanted to give it a try. Last night, I thought of ordering the beef brains, but I chickened out and instead ordered the hawawshi with cheese instead. It was made to order and even though it took a while to make (since it was made from scratch), the taste of it was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how the texture and crispness and flavor of the bread paired so well with the heavily seasoned beef that just had so much flavor, and the nice addition of the cheese. These flavors just paired so well together and kept me thinking about my meal all day and how satisfied I was eating it. Needless to say, I was impressed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's kind of a weird setup inside though. Like the parking plaza here was packed, but out of the 3 restaurants in the plaza, this one was empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It didn't make any sense whatsoever, especially with how good the food was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining area is just a few tables though, so it's smaller than the other restaurants in the plaza, but you would think the taste would get people to still come and eat here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyway, I'm happy with the meal and the service. I'm definitely coming back to try more things on the menu next time, and maybe even the beef brains haha

Not even home yet but I can't wait to rave about this place. We ordered the kabeb wrapped in lamb fat with rice, green salad, garlic sauce, and a side of bread. Everything was seasoned to the GODS, perfectly cooked. This was my first time trying Egyptian food and the spice combinations were a revelation. The veggies were pickled and added the perfect amount of brightness to offset the fattiness of the meat. Staff was quiet but kind and attentive! Overall a great experience and we can't wait to go back.

Tasa2go is a spot that I've bookmarked for several years now and I was finally able to try this place out (visiting from The Bay Area). This Egyptian gem did not let me down. The menu is big and the portion size is even bigger. You definitely get the best bang for your buck. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered and got our food about 7 minutes later. I believe we met the owner (looked like the guy from the logo) and he was such a friendly and personable human being. Now the food....bring an appetite because that medium bowl was enough to feed me, my wife and one of my kids lol. We ordered 2 bowls and a sandwich. Everything was packed with delicious spices and flavors. The spices are different compared to like a Halal guys and other places but that's what makes this place different. It's similar but not similar (in a good way) if that makes sense. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was not any tables inside of the spot but there was outside seating and tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, I would love to come back and try more unique dishes like the one with brains. When I'm down that way again, I will definitely be returning. Do yourself a favor and check Tasa2go out.

The closest you'll get to authentic Egyptian food. Reminded me of home. The food was hot and fresh, pita was made from scratch. It was all beautiful. Rimon was very nice and accommodating.

Tasa2Go is an Egyptian restaurant that specializes in charcoal grilled meats. All the food served here is HALAL. They have sandwiches, shawarma, rice, pasta, fries, and charcoal grill meats. I wanted to get a variety of meats to try and after talking to the owner he recommended the beef shawarma fattah. Beef Shawarma Fattah ($26 - Large / $21- Regular) - I got the large size not realizing the quantity was too much, 2 people could have eaten this. This came with a roasted bread base, rice on top, beef shawarma meat, garlic sauce and 2 sides (I went with eggplant and a salad). The beef was on the drier side and had a slight charcoal taste to it. The rice had a spicy tomato sauce mixed in. Overall, I thought the beef was just ok. I did feel it was over priced. I did try a little of my co-worker's chicken plate ($19) and while the chicken was tender, it didn't have much in the way of flavor other than some charcoal taste. Compared to other Middle Eastern places I have been to I would pass on this. They only have 2 tables inside for seating and 3 outside. It does take a while to grill meats, so be prepared to wait. They do charge $2 for a water bottle, didn't see an option for complimentary water.

Came here with my wife & in-laws who are Egyptian to have this amazing meal at Tasa 2 Go. Owner served us with true Egyptian hospitality & it is legit Egyptian (as verified by my wife & in laws) with a wide variety. Loved the lamb chops & the kofta with tarb, soo good. The hawowshi sandwich was delish as well. The accompaniments of pickled onions, pickles, sauces were perfect with the food. We also tried the Om Ali for dessert & it's the best I have had since visiting Cairo. We have eaten from here a few times and keep coming back because it's soo good and we will be back soon !!

Amazing authentic food! Best Egyptian food I have had in a very long time. The food is super hot and fresh. The staff is extremely friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the outdoor seating is very comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would highly recommend trying the Koshary and Bechamel. Super tasty! And all Halal!

We sought out the Koshary because it is the national dish of Egypt. It was really delicious especially with their garlic and hot sauce added to it. The Lamb Kabsa was really good as well. The flavors were great and I would definitely order it again if I was craving lamb. The Stuffed Pigeon sounded really unique and I'm glad that we ordered it. It was our first time trying pigeon and we all enjoyed it. The meat is pretty tender and the skin was crispy. Definitely a must try if you're at the restaurant. We shared the Kunafa, which we also really enjoyed. The center of the dessert is filled with a sweet custard. You have the option of adding Nutella on the top of the dessert which we didn't do. My main complaint is with the service because our server was constantly away and on two occasions, I had to search for him to place our order and to follow up on payment. The restaurant wasn't very busy as we were one of three tables that were occupied. Our lunch duration was easily extended 30-minutes due to the lack of service. We dined outside. There was a tv playing music. The noise level wasn't too loud as the restaurant wasn't that busy at the time. I will definitely come back for the food, but it would have to be on a day where my schedule can absorb long lunch. If I was strictly rating my experience based off food, I would rate the restaurant a 5/5. Factoring the poor service in dropping my score to a 3/5.

However, after waiting longer and checking inside twice, my order still wasn't ready and there seemed to be confusion about its status. In total, I waited close to an hour for an order that was placed online in advance. What bothered me most was seeing customers who ordered in person receive their food before me. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.
