20/10 food and experience. I will definitely be returning here when I come back to LA. The food is out of this world and made fresh! Patience is key because they prepare it when ordered.

I really wanted to give this spot 5 stars. I was very excited to be in the area (a middle eastern strip mall with various businesses) to try it. I've eaten alot of Lebanese Bakery items over the years but am no expert. I arrived early on a Saturday morning and the bakery/restaurant was wide open with just a few ppl already served and eating. It had a relaxing ambience. My order was taken in a timely manner. I ordered a Zaatar w/ Veggie Wrap, Sujuk and Egg Wrap, and a Spinach Triangle primarily. Teas were self serve. All bakery items seemed to be of an impressive portion. The Zaatar was fantasticly warm, tasty and very filling. The veges were cut quite big but were good. My first disappointment was related to the Sujuk in the Wrap. The portion was good. Biting in, I was very disappointed to taste how spicy it was. Really really spicy. It was more like a spicy Chorizo Burrito and seemed more Mexican than Lebanese. I wish there was a warning. My second disappointment was waiting 40 minutes for the Spinach triangle. I understood that they were busy with orders but that was too long. Of course I was full and finished eating by the time that came out. I would possibly go there again and just hit the Zaatar. Having said that, we were there early, so I can't imagine how bad it would be when they've got a line of customers.

Omg. I am blown away at this wonderful place. The food and service are to die for. Best Lebanese food I have ever tasted here in the states. I highly recommend

I'd been craving manaeesh and mamol since I came to the west coast, and boy did Forn Al Hara deliver. When I asked the man upfront what was good, he said, "Everything." He was right. I ordered 5 manaeesh: - Zatar: super flavorful. Will get with cheese next time - Lahem Bel Ajeen: the closest flavor I had to the manaeesh on the east coast. Tomatoes balanced well with the meat - Sujuk with cheese: my favorite!! Spiced perfectly and went superbly with the pickles (which typically I'm not a fan of!) - Safiha - my second favorite. It balanced the right amount of sweet and salty, another combination I usually avoid. Needless to say, my tastebuds learned a lot today. In terms of mamol, I prefer rose in mine, but the pistachio baklava. Oh my lord, I will have dreams about it. I'm thankful to the man helping me out today. Will be back - with friends!

Food is soooo fresh and the owner is fun! Service was nice and store is cute with Lebanese decorations all over.

The place is clean and cozy. I came in right before lunch hour hit on a weekday so there weren't a lot of people yet. Unfortunately, there was no one at the front. It wouldn't have been a big deal but everyone else working there seemed to make it a point to ignore me so I stood there awkwardly until the person came back. Once we got the ball rolling though, it was a lot better. The owner was very nice and explained the items on the menu patiently as I was a first timer. I ordered the Zatar with Cheese, Cheese and Honey, and a pound of assorted baklava. Zatar with Cheese- They are known for their flatbreads and I can see why! The base dough is the perfect blend of chewy and crisp. The zatar is a delicious herb fushion which goes perfectly well with the gooey cheese. Cheese and Honey- I cannot rave enough about the cheese. It is gooey and creamy with a mild flavor that was enhanced with the sweetness of honey. Such a delightful combination! Baklava- For 15$ a pound, it was a steal for a baklava fan like me. The syrup was sweet and mildly spiced and the pistachios were fresh and added a lovely texture. The pastry could be crisper, however. Still a nice find though! Loved the food but improvements could be made on certain items. Staff could be friendlier too.

I was in Anaheim and craving some zaatar and lahem bel ajeen, so I decided to give Forn Al Hara a try -- and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I placed my order, the experience was great. The man who took my call was very kind and helpful. When I arrived, the place was clean, welcoming, and busy, which is always a good sign. The employees -- including the owner -- were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. Their dough is amazing, easily some of the best I've had. I loved it so much that I ordered more to take home the next day. Their cheese boats are also a must-try -- rich, fresh, and full of flavor. I highly recommend Forn Al Hara! If you're in the Anaheim area and want authentic, tasty baked goods, this is the place to go.

I'm half arabic (my mom is Lebanese) and have a large extended arabic family here in OC. I grew up with the most amazing foods that my mom, grandma and aunts would prepare for family gatherings and holidays. Some of my favorite childhood comfort foods are Safiha, Kibbeh, Yekhne, Hashweh and others. Finding legit Lebanese/Mediterranean food is not as easy as it seems but Forn Al Hara is the real deal! My aunt recommended them to me for Safiha so I bought a dozen of the ground beef Safiha for starters and it was every bit as flavorful and amazing as I remembered my grandmother's recipe...wow, just wow.....I shared 2 of them and ate the other 10 basically the same day! . Going back soon for other items. Love this place!

food was delicious, tough competition between here and al-amir. but i think forn al hara has more variation for toppings. the vibes are very baladi inside, i appreciate the murals. the maamoul is also quite delicious. however the wait time and order system they have is a mess. we ordered our dine-in food for an early lunch and got it in a reasonable amount of time and had a good experience there. then after 12, we placed a to-go order and he said it will take an hour. it took an hour and 40min. there were multiple other parties who were waiting for their late orders who got rude with the manager (not the vibe). he kept it together but his workers were very visibly stressed out and seemed used to the mess. he gave us free maamoul but that didn't really make up for it. they need some kind of order system revamp back there.

Utterly delicious. Came in with a friend late at night and just relaxed with some delicious Lahm bi Ajeen and a piping hot cup of fresh mint tea. It was relaxing and all the interactions I had were courteous and friendly and the food was delicious! All in all, a perfect experience! ^^

This is the og place for manoushe in Anaheim, the owners are so sweet, and fresh, wonderful, tasty food and very fairly priced... they added a few new items to the menu see the chicken wrap items at the bottom. They were freaking amazing. I love this place. The baklava is also very good. Thought I had pics of their food but looks like every time I've ordered from this place I start eating it immediately

The food changed a lot I ordered some sifihaa but unfortunately the meat smell and the taste was very old and bad also it was the worse customer service experience ever the guy who was there was rude and I ordered some items and employee was at the cash register gave my order to a girl who was flirting with him without a charges he give her my order for free and when I was asking him, he said you have to wait a little bit more he made me wait almost an hour for my order. This is ridiculous. I will never go there anymore. Also, I don't recommend this rude and unfair customer service.

Sooo yum. I LOVE small local businesses especially when they're food related. My boyfriend put me on, who initially discovered this place through his dad and their food is amazing! Huge portions that will definitely leave you with leftovers too. I've only been here once and had their lahem bel ajeen because I've been craving Turkish Lahmacun and this is basically the Arabic version. Despite lahem bel ajeen having a stronger tomato flavor and heavier toppings, it hit the spot. The toum (garlic sauce) is a MUST. I highly recommend getting two per person because it complements the bread so well. Makes your breath smell pungent af but so worth it lol. I wanted to try their kunafa since it's my favorite dessert but they didn't have it the day we came. They have other little sweet treats, drinks, breads, plates, etc. included in the pictures below so if you want to try something new or have access to a good selection, give this spot a try!

For two, we ordered the "individual portions" of Mandi Chicken (young chicken roasted with Yemeni spices) & Lalamb Haneeth (a roasted young lamb that falls off the bone). These were both served over a large platter of Mandi rice and came with Yemeni sauce and yogurt. It was expertly made, yet still gave us the warmth of a homestyle meal. The generous portions resulted in a second meal for me! On a Tuesday night, this place was quite packed with friends and families. It seems like wonderful place to host parties or business meetings. Someone nearby us had a birthday, and a group of staff came out with a dessert, blasting a traditional birthday song over the speakers and encouraged the whole restaurant to clap along! Despite the large gatherings, the restaurant is a no-reservation spot. They have a covered patio outside to seat an overflow of customers in case. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I were seated right away. They had a contactless menu, and we scanned a QR code to check our food options, but a server took our order and offered great recommendations once we waved him down. I would love to come back and try other dishes, like their grilled chicken or lamb--as well as the desserts and teas !!

I don't like writing bad reviews for small businesses, but we were almost SCAMMED. 1. It was so hard to get the servers' attention, even when pressing the ringer button at our table. They completely ignore the ringing sound every single time. 2. We had to ask for basic things that should have been provided already before we asked. They served us the salad without any utensils or plates. We had to ask for the sauces that were explicitly written were part of our meal. And every single time we had to ask, we NEVER received an apology. 3. This was the last straw cuz at this point, it felt like we were being targeted. They charged us for an extra lamb dish that costed more than any of the dishes we ordered. When we brought this up, NO APOLOGY.

I tried my first one in Seattle at a place called Miss Cafe and really enjoyed it. This restaurant is located in a large plaza so there was plenty of parking. Upon walking in it was pretty busy on a Sunday around 11:30am, we were seated immediately. As we were leaving, there were plenty of people waiting for a table. Food I was hoping to order a combination juju boat but the waitress taking our order mentioned the beef is out of stock so therefore we ordered the Juju chicken pide. The flatbread was cooked nicely, the dough was thin, every bite didn't feel too heavy. However the chicken was really dry and didn't feel like there was enough sauce/cheese, ended up putting some garlic sauce on top and it made it a little better. We also ordered the combination platter which came with lamb Kofte, beef/chicken kebab and two sides. We chose hummus and salad as the two sides and it paired well with the plate. The beef was a little dry but the Kofte and chicken were pretty good. They also served us two flatbreads which was nice for wrapping the meat and dipping in hummus. The hummus tasted very fresh and clean with delicate flavors, wish it had a little more tart. Side salad was simple and fresh with olive oil and lemon juice. The Kebbah was piping hot but didn't have much flavor, think it needed some sort of sauce. Overall, the ingredients tasted very fresh and minimalistic but definitely can do with a bit more seasoning or sauce for flavor. Service was friendly and not overly attentive. The servers didn't offer any water or drinks. Almost every table had tea so we flagged down someone to place an order after ordering our meal. There was a little mishap with our order but the owner came over to the table and cleared up the misunderstanding and asked us if we needed anything. Didn't seem like they had a lot of staff for such a busy morning. The space felt very clean and very lively with the lunch rush.
