I was in the area and wanted to get some Shawarma and I came across this on Yelp and Instagram. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little busy and it took a little bit of time to get to my order which is fine. I get it. it's Saturday. It's busy that's a good sign lol The lady who took my order was so nice and friendly. I felt like I was talking to a friend. I wish I got her name though. This Shawarma house has it all. Shawarma plates, Shawarma wraps, schnitzel plates, and wraps and even loaded fries! I got the chicken Shawarma plate. I am pretty shook to be honest. It came with rice on the bottom with some lettuce, tzatziki sauce, pickled onions, pickled cucumbers, pickled cabbage, slices of lemon, mint leaves, cucumber salad, garlic sauce, slices of chicken, Shawarma, and topped with a pomegranate sauce and There special sauce. This meal lasted me two days literally lol which I love and it only costed about 17.99 There is some tables for you to sit down and also an extensive variety of soda, including salaam cola. I would definitely come back here again and try the wrap. They even have Jerusalem bread, which I have never tried before.

Very fresh food and delicious! It also felt very clean. They have indoor seating with olive trees, and free parking in the lot out front. I liked the Chicken Shawarma plate with tomatoes, pickles, cucumbers, garlic sauce, mint, and parsley. I'll definitely be back!
Mix shawarma plate, falafel plate. Staff assembled plates with craftsmanship. It was nice to see. Beef and chicken had intense flavor. Really tasty. Pickled sides vibrant color and dimension. Rice fragrant and tasty. Every bite was bigger than the last. Falafel average, little small. Sauces and hummus decent variety, 1 of them reminded me of tuna.
So delicious. These guys have been here for 4 months and the food is incredible. The service is top notch, and the location is clean! I had some questions about the menu and was given clear information about the items I wanted to order. I ordered the beef shawarma wrap, which she explained wasn't on the menu yet. As I watched her prep the food I thought she could be prepping it for a magazine cover. I had her add a little hot sauce, which wasn't that hot! She also gave me a couple of falafel to try, just as a sample! So good! I may go with a falafel wrap next time, but to miss out on the shawarma may be a mistake! I may have to go with BOTH!! Highly recommend! I'll be back!!
So glad we tried this place! Everything tasted great. Unfortunately, the other items were eaten to fast to be pictured.

I got the Mixed Shawarma Plate (10/10!) it was a perfect mix of everything, the chicken schnitzel on jerusalem bread (8.5/10) & Beef Shawarma Pita (8/10) were solid! Their red sauce made everything better! Parking was easy to find, I parked in the back by the gas station. Definitely recommend.
SimSim Shawarma House is located right next to Mar7aba (coffee and home made pastries) and has the same owners. Ordering is done at the counter at this casual restaurant and the inside is clean with comfortable seating indoors. They offer shawarma plates, pitas, falafel and schnitzel. I went with a mixed shawarma plate. All the food served here is HALAL. Mix Shawarma Plate ($16.99 + $1.50 for hummus) - The shawarma plate came with rice, chicken and beef shawarma and fresh veggies and sides to choose from. I went with hummus, garlic sauce, spicy garlic sauce, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, tzatziki sauce, pickled onions, onions, sweet cream cabbage, mint, pickled turnips, and arugula. I also went with some tahini sauce, house sauce, and pomegranate molasses. Overall the food tasted amazing, and each ingredient was so fresh. This place in terms of quality, food, and setup reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants, Sababa Falafel, except there was no crazy line here. I definitely will be stopping by here when I need my shawarma fix, and then will stop by next door to get a pistachio latte.

I got the bowl and the rice is ok want really anything to remember about it. The chicken was actually the best part. The vegetable options are good I'm glad they offer just cucumbers and not just the cucumber and tomatoes mixed together. For the price it's good. 15 bucks plus 1.50 for a large scoop of hummus. I'll try again soon. The service was a bit slow but the guys working on 5/27 were having a hard time being organized. The place is super clean and nice and cool during this heat.

Enter the glass doors and you'll walk almost directly to the counter where you'll be greeted with a smile by friendly and welcoming staff. The menu is small which is nice making it simple. Once you place your order and pay at the counter you'll see a small dining area with a few tables. The decor is nice, simple, warm lighting, most importantly very clean. Let's get to the food. "What would you like?" We hoped to try out a beef and a chicken plate one each. It was 9:03pm when we arrived and being the end of the day unfortunately the chicken was already finished. "Beef shawarma it is." - Beef Shawarma Plate with everything. 4/5 Stars ***Add hummus - Beef Shawarma Pita 5/5 stars One thing for sure, it's fresh. The vegetables, the sides, the seasonings all make for an amazing flavor profile. My wife enjoyed the plate I had the pita wrap. Let's talk about the pita. This pocket of dough was just so nice. Slightly blistered, light, not thick, but still held everything together through each bite. My pita was perfectly packed. A well balanced proportion of veggies to protein ratio along with all the accompaniments. Every bite was delicious. Not a bite was missing any ingredients. End of your meal, you'll bus your tray. Be sure to thank the staff for an amazing meal. You can definitely taste the difference when folks have pride in their work and put love into the food. I'm definitely coming back, looking forward to another amazing Pita and trying everything else on the menu. The plaza was under a long renovation, might've been over a year nearly two. Finally completed, and I'm definitely glad it's become home to a new flavorful addition of Mediterranean food in Anaheim
Came to Simsim shawarma after seeing a video on IG - got their beef & chicken shawarma wraps. The flavors were excellent and the price was fair - $12-15 a wrap. The service was great!

Probably one of the better shawerma places I've had in the area!! I got the beef wrap - they put a moderate amount of beef and you can select your toppings / sauce . I also liked how they dipped the wrap in the grease of the meat and grilled it for crispy bite The employees there were kind too! read more

Amazing Shawarma , beef marinated really good and very light ,not oily.it is made in Palestinian marinated way. Supper Delicious, The customer service really good and they are very welcoming and Generous! Inside very calming ambiance and nice music . Highly recommended!! read more

The shawarma wraps are so delicious here! We enjoyed them so much! Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the food but not to worry I got great photos of inside. This place is a hit! The decor is nice and the food is delicious! Situated next to a smoke shop and hookah lounge and a coffee shop you are in the vicinity of amazing-ness! Selena was super courteous and so great! Was looking for some fresh food tonight for dinner and happened upon SimSim Shawarma house. I am so glad I came here, totally a hidden gem. There was not really a wait (went around 7:30). The food is so fresh and delicious. We got the 7pc falafel, grilled shawarma wrap (not featured on the menu but 10/10 recommend) and the mix shawarma plate. The wrap is literally, fresh, and delicious. The falafel was crispy and seasoned to perfection. The shawarma plate is massive! Seriously it's HEAVY. The toppings and sauces are so delicious, we opted to get all but the pickle, we did get the pickle on the wrap and it was delicious. The service was great, super friendly woman helped us. Will be coming here again, and recommending SimSim to anyone who asks! read more
Simsim recently opened, and I decided to try it after seeing it on my Yelp feed. I dropped in for lunch and had an excellent first experience. I walked in and was greeted by a kind gentleman (may have been the manager). The menu is simple. You choose among plates and pitas, then pick your protein, then choose among the fresh ingredients and sauces in front of you. You make it your way. I ordered the beef shawarma pita, chose my preferred ingredients, and then the flavorful, tender meat carved from the spit-roasted meat was carefully packed into the pita. It was very delicious and filling. I also ordered the fried veggies (seasoned eggplant and cauliflower). The veggies were nicely cooked, but not as crispy as expected. The gentleman (I wish I had gotten his name) also gave me a few sauces to dip in and add to my pita. For drinks, they offer some canned and bottled varieties, most of which I have never heard of, and I was intrigued. I tried the Freez Mix brand, and it was refreshing. I'll have to try another kind next time. The dining area is clean and spacious with tables and an inviting atmosphere. The staff was kind and prepared my order promptly. I can't wait to come back for another meal. The prices are a little high, but the quality is worth it. I spent $33 total for lunch. A nice treat once in a while. this halal Palestinian spot LOADS their pita with shawarma what we got beef shawarma pita chicken shawarma wrap chicken schnitzel plate everything was actually so delicious i LOVE how they stuff their pita pockets with the shawarma, it's just so good. the chicken shawarma wrap was also reallyyy good!! their garlic sauce is great and the pomegranate molasses adds a nice touch! the chicken schnitzel plate was so flavorful! i've never had schnitzel before but it reminded me of katsu! i love everything they put in that plate, eating it all together is so good. the staff is super sweet! and the space inside is cute with a good amount of seating. i would def recommend checking them out!! read more

As you walk into the restaurant you are greeted by the staff. Edgar, Ann, and Freddy are very friendly and answered our questions regarding the menu and region of the food. We ate the mix shawarma with rice, pickled vegetables, sauces, and a pita bread. The flavors were exquisite very flavorful and the pita is unlike any other pita we have ever had. It is soft and fluffy. My husband and I really enjoy the food and atmosphere. We recommend it ! read more

This restaurant is nice and clean and the staff is very nice. I would totally recommend the food is fresh and quality tasting, but the prices are a little high and they do not have a fountain drink dispenser, but they have lots of unique beverages to choose from in their cooler. read more

Very beautiful ambiance inside the restaurant and super friendly and attentive service, the portions are large and they give you a variety of different toppings , the food was phenomenal and you can't beat the price, I went in at about 9pm and it was quiet and relaxed inside, definitely recommend stopping by and checking this place out if you love shawarma and Mediterranean food read more

I'd been meaning to try this place for a while, so I finally stopped by for takeout. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick. I ordered the mixed shawarma plate with all the fixings--and while I was happy with the overall flavor and generous portion for the price, there were a few misses. I had to pay extra for hummus, which was fine, but I specifically asked for it on the side. Unfortunately, it was mixed in with everything else. More importantly, both the chicken and beef were quite dry. I wish they had more moisture--they'd be so much better with a juicier, more tender texture. That said, the taste of the meal was delicious, and I'd still consider coming back if they could nail the meat quality. A solid meal with room to improve. read more

Tried this new spot for lunch today. Interior is super intimate/cozy with mood lighting and decor. The service was friendly, albeit severely disorganized. It took almost 30 minutes for them to help/complete 4 orders. I think they're understaffed and the staff they have may not be fully trained. The front woman was basically doing everything and the meat shaving/fryer guy looked lost and unable to help her. I got the beef shawarma plate. The meat was well seasoned, but could have used more time spinning over the flame for the crisp edges you want from shawarma. Came with a medley of fresh/acidic Mediterranean sides and rice. Bowl overall I'd give a 7/10. Would consider trying again, but with limited time on my lunch hour, they'd need to get their operations in order first. read more
