The filling on the cream cheese wontons is quite tasty - I do think the wrapper part is a bit dry though. It's a pretty large place; the decor is nothing to write home about, but the food and service are. The hubby and I shared: - Pad see ew with steamed tofu (good flavor and portions--they don't list tofu as one of the protein options, but you can request it) - Veggie egg rolls (filling was mostly cabbage, but nice and crisp and came to the table piping hot) - Panang curry with vegetables (they didn't ask us what spice level and we didn't think about it until the curry came and it was a bit hotter than medium, I'd say, which was fine with me but a bit too hot for the hubby. I have been coming to Win Thai since I was a freshman in college. Now, 15 years later, they are still my absolute favorite. No other Thai restaurant that I have been to in OC has that highly sot after "wok hei" (smokey/bbq flavor imparted by the wok cooking vessel) flavor like Win Thai does. It is especially noticeable in their Pad See Ew but all their wok fired dishes have it and it is a glorious. After 15+ years none of their dishes have changed or lost flavor or portion sizes and the family that runs is still active, hard working, very sweet and very friendly. So is Win Thai a win? There was about 2 other customers, picking up to go orders. What we ordered: ~Lad Nah w seafood. The noodles weren't too much. A smaller amount of portion. I'd suggest they add a bit more noodles though. The Gravy was good along with everything else. ~Beef Noodle Soup aka Boat Noodle Soup was decently good. The food and service were good, but it was overpriced. The bill prices ended up being way different from what was shown on the menu. The thai tea was almost $5, just for it to be poured in a small glass. My family of 6 was also charged 18% for a mandatory tip. The food was enjoyable but I don't think i'll be returning. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE food!! Food made me sick and on top of that the orange chicken had no meat at all, it was all just batter! All the chicken pieces were like that as the one in the video. One of my favorite Thai restaurants for sure!! The food is always amazing every time. It's made fresh and the quality is always consistent. I get my food extra spicy, and it hurts (but I still like it). Also, the leftovers taste great the next day too. It's a family run restaurant and everyone is super nice and kind. I love Thai food so much and I found this hidden gem in Anaheim. Thank Covid 19 for discovering this spot. I recommend trying this restaurant and it's super authentic. I loved the fact that it was overwhelming and knew I can have left overs for the next day. The noodles were really soft and you can tell there was dedication put into it. It was a great dish and now I'm craving more. I wish they had put more shrimp in it though. I tried the pineapple fried rice and that was nothing short but delicious. If you want a good rice dish, this should be your go to. Very simple dish but great taste to it. I wanted to compliment my two dishes and ordered fried tofu. The sauces they gave you were perfect. I came to this location while getting my car washed cross the street for lunch and figured to try my go to at a normal Thai restaurant. I had the coconut shrimp soup, the chicken satay and the barbecue chicken. I was very disappointed with all the food. We were going to Norms but there was a little bit wait, saw this Thai restaurant from across the street, figured why not give it a try. I wanted some flavorful Asian food cause I couldn't take any of the flavorless cafeteria food at the hospital anymore. The menus were so extensive, they have some Halal food too, the owner gave us picture menus to make it much easier to order. They don't have alcohol so I had a real coconut juice, it was so refreshing and yummy. We ordered Tom Yum seafood soup, spicy whole fish, beef dry noodles, mango sweet rice and a pot of steamed Thai rice to share, also a crab fried rice to go. The food flavors were so rich and yummy, portions were decent and prices were more than fair. I really liked the spicy whole fish even though it was a very small fish but still so meaty. The service was very warm and friendly, it made us feel like we were at home. A great little Thai restaurant in an unfamiliar neighborhood, at least we know where to go next time we are in this area. read more
