Thanks to the nearby hospital, I've become very familiar with this shop over the years. The interior has undergone a few quality of updates, a few more staff are present. The sandwiches are consistently good every time. That's the appeal of Sandwich Plus. They don't try and , "reinvent the wheel." They make a good sandwich, using quality ingredients, have friendly staff and make a good sandwich that you can count on every time. Chains like Subway with their SOPs and assembly line of ingredients don't even come close. It feels good supporting a small, family business. It feels even better knowing that it's not just lip service, but they actually deliver a worthwhile product. The regular sized sandwich is enough for a meal. I can split the large into two meals 9 out of 10 times and I'm a pretty big dude. Prices are average compared to competitors. I don't think I had a legit good quality sandwich in a long time, because I would always go to subway near home. I was so glad I stumbled upon this store while stopping at fry's. My favorite thing about this restaurant was the atmosphere. Unlike other places where the music is too loud and the seats are literally stuck to each other, this place is quiet and the seats are spacious and clean. They have a huge menu and everything I've tried is very good!! Their seating is spread out and can fit about 40-50 people. Great homemade taste and high quality sandwiches. I ordered the the famous triple decker ham, Turkey breast, avocado, and bacon club on rye bread. It tastes way more fresh than subway or other sandwich shops. All the veggies were crisp and the bacon was the right amount of cooked. Price was around $7 and I was stuffed afterwards. It is family owned and it shows how much they care about their customers. Everyone was kind and friendly. Stopped here headed to work as a last minute audible for breakfast. It wasn't crowded, as I was the only customer at 8am. Place looked clean. I ordered a bagel sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese and a regular coffee for $8. I couldn't tell but it looked like the bacon and egg was microwaved. Not to piss any repeating customers or anything, but both my husband and I thought this place was just ok.. I was greeted upon entering and the place was quite large having many tables and chairs.... The place was really clean which was good.. They offer 2 sizes, regular which is a 7 inch sandwich and a large which is 12 inches. They offer french or wheat bread. The sandwiches were made with care as everything was in place and nothing was falling out when I opened the wrappings. I ordered a blt with avocado for the hubby and I got a turkey and bacon. This is a great little place right off the 91 freeway and Tustin. The fact that it is Right next to a Starbucks gives it a few extra personality points in my book!! I would eat here over Subway any day. The people working there are extremely polite and professional. I'm a bit of a picky eater compared to most (I don't like mayo/mushrooms/etc), and this guy made absolutely sure he understood exactly what I wanted in my sandwiches. He genuinely cared! (The people at Subway/Togos usually only half-listen and use a dirty, mayo and mustard-covered knife to cut my sandwiches with, and give me dirty looks when I ask to have it fixed. On the really bad days they throw in random ingredients assuming I want them, even after I told them I didn't!) The sandwiches at Sandwich Plus are also the "tidiest" I've ever seen, if that makes sense. Very professionally made, and very tasty. Not just slapped together and sloppy. Hands down, this is probably one of the best sandwich shops I have ever been to in a long time! We were staying at Extended Stay America across the street last Wednesday while we waited for our room to be ready for an early check-in. We were visiting the area from Livermore to see the NKOTBSB concert at Honda Center, and we were starving! The prices are affordable, and they even have combo specials that were still under $8.00. I ordered their turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich in French bread. This is exactly what I thought HEAVEN would taste like! My boyfriend tried their chicken salad sandwich. It was amazing! It had a little bit of sweet to it, just like the way they make it in the Philippines! Their shop is also pretty large, and able to accommodate the huge lunch crowd that we thankfully just missed. The staff working there were also a great plus to that place. They were sweet, and very welcoming with their smiles, and the man behind the register was patient when I asked him for recommendations. They also never commented on the fact we stayed around for an hour and a half before our room got done. There is a Pollo Loco and a Starbucks next door, but definitely give this place a try, you will not regret it! Unfortunately, I don't think we will be staying in that area in the near future, however, if we get the chance, I would come back just to have that sandwich once again. read more

I had high hopes for this place because it is 4 1/2 stars on Yelp, but was shot down when I ordered the Avo + Turkey sandwich on squaw. International Deli in Diamond Bar killed it for me because now I just compare all the other places to it and to be honest, nothing compares. Sandwich plus is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. I would rather much come here then Subway or any of the other chain shops. Although the prices are a bit higher, I don't mind paying extra for better quality food. I love the chicken noddle soup! I'm not sure if they make it in house, but it taste homemade. I know they have different soups, but Tuesday is chicken noddle. I believe this shop is family owned, and the workers/owners is a nice Korean family.
