"Hamburger" is in an sandwich, fries, burrito and drink
    Orlando G.

It's too expensive for what the taste is. Also the burger wasn't even a burger, but used sandwich bread for our order it being a sandwich. Go elsewhere you can get food at a better price and better taste. This place did not satisfy my taste buds.

    Chili cheese fries

I recommend the chili fries. They were fantastic. Perfect amount of cheese and chili (if you like it smothered).

Have been coming to Fantasy Burger on and off since 2000. It's always been one of those, we don't feel like cooking tonight, so let's call in an order and go pick it up kinda place. Especially when it's right down the street from us. Have ordered quite a bit of items from their menu including their Mexican food. Never had a gripe about their food or service until now. We decided to dine in this time. As we walked in, a couple of diners were walking out and that pretty much cleared the place and made us the only diners there. There was a gentleman behind the counter who was the cook and a lady that was the order taker / bring your order out to you person. The gentleman was cool, he made eye contact and smiled as though saying, "welcome!" The lady was a different story. She made eye contact and her body language displayed anger and projected "I hate my F--king job, how dare you come to my work and expect me to take your order, go to H-LL!!! Guys, I'm not exaggerating, this lady has some issues. She's cray cray!!! My strategy at that point, was to take a deep breath and go overboard with friendliness. I thought that maybe she had an asshole customer that came in earlier and gave her a hard time. Nope, this lady was the asshole. Ordered two burger combos, a side of onion rings and a side of zucchini. Lady brings out our order and I make the mistake to ask for some extra ranch dressing. She replies with, "you have two ranch dressings," and points to the ranch dressing containers. I reply with, "yes, I know, but I'd like some additional ranch dressing please, as I enjoy ranch dressing." She sighs, rolls her eyes, and proceeds to tell me that this time it will be ok, but next time I'll be charged. I reply with, "go ahead and charge me, I don't have a problem paying for extra ranch dressing." She just ignores me and comes back with the extra ranch dressing, places them on the table, and I say thank you. At this point, I'm like ok, I'm done interacting with this person and I just want to eat and go home. But before I take a bite of my burger, my wife points out that we're missing an order of fries. I tell her I don't want to deal with this lady anymore, I don't care about the fries, I just want to eat and go home. My wife says, well you paid for them. Just sayin. At this point a switch flipped in my head, and I got up and went to the order counter. The lady sees me go to the counter and I feel she could tell that by standing in front of the counter where you order, or pick up an order that I was not loitering or just wanted to stand there for no reason. She continues to clean one of the tables in the dining room and ignores me. So I ask the gentleman, the cook, who's behind the counter cleaning if he could help me. He's super polite and he replies with, "yes, how may I help you." As I start to tell the gentleman that we're missing an order of fries, the lady beelines to the counter, has already heard my missing fries order statement and lands in front of me and states in a rude tone, "you ordered onion rings instead of fries." I reply with, "noooo, I ordered two combos, a side order of onion rings and a side order of zucchini." She comes back with, "I'll have to charge you". I reply, fine, charge me, and also charge for the extra ranch dressing that you brought me." She doesn't say a word, charges me for the fries, but not the ranch dressing. I still don't let it get to me that she didn't take responsibility for her mistake, and geeeezuz lady, why are you sooooo rude?! If you're not happy working at Fantasy Burger maybe it's time to look for some other employment that you'd enjoy. I'd recommend some kind of job where you don't have to interact with the public tho. As for the food, the burgers were ok, the onion rings, not the same as they used to be. The fries, just frozen type, meh. The zucchini, dunno what happened there. They're zucchini niblets now. Don't know if the owners read these reviews or care at all about how their customers are treated. I read some of their other reviews and I'm not the only one that experienced this rude lady. By her continuous ongoing rude behavior, it basically tells me that the owners have a hard time finding someone that's willing to work very long hours, nights, weekends, probably holidays, for shit pay, so this lady uses that for leverage, and if the owners address any inclination about her customer service, it's probably met with statements like, "if you don't like how I work, then I quit!" The owners don't want to be there either, so they turn a blind eye and this lady continues her rudeness. I'm pretty confident my assessment is spot on. There will be no reply from the owners on this review, or any others. They've lost us as a customer.

For the price, they give you a good amount of food. I got the egg scramble with ham and cheddar cheese. My husband got a breakfast burrito in which he forgot sometimes he isn't a fan of them because they overload with potatoes, but he said he really enjoyed this one. What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;)…read more We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

It's kind of like a skillet, except you have full control of how much of each items goes into it. Normally I don't like a ton of gravy in this ritual, but something about the gravy and sausage at Paul's Country Kitchen made this Grand Finale especially delicious. I mean--the Char's Country Plate was good in itself. I've had something similar at the nearby Mr. D's with its two sausage patties on a biscuit covered in gravy along with eggs and hash browns. I think the version at Paul's was a bit better. Every bite was a delight. But I think the best bites were reserved when I got that bit a sausage and gravy into the mix with the hash browns and perfectly cooked eggs. Grand Finales are usually a joy, but this one was especially joyous. Also, noticeable was the great service here. I found the servers personable and discerning. They managed to give out good recommendations, answer any questions about the offerings, and still hold good conversation. That's rare at any food joint you go to. Not only that, they held down the fort when it came to refills, getting my order out quickly, and dropping the bill off when it came time. The personal touch here is impeccable. Lastly, the ambience is great here. The space is kind of limited, but they had plenty of booths and tables, 2-tops and 4-tops, and counter space. Everything was decorated brightly without seeming gaudy, and it gave off a welcoming feeling that is traditional with all local diners. I wouldn't mind eating in a place like this regularly. In conclusion, I think I found a new place to have breakfast. Not only that, I think I found a new place to recommend to others when I want to point out what makes a good diner/coffee shop.
