Not bad, but it's just an average caramel latte with half-and-half. I was not the biggest fan of the smoked salmon omelette. My friend really enjoyed hers with a side of the homestyle potatoes, however, mine was underdone. I'm not sure if that's intentional but I was under the impression that the salmon would be smoked as insinuated and more well-done. The interior is beautiful, theres music constantly playing at a volume that isn't too loud for you to have conversation, but helps fill in the awkward silence if you aren't. As for the food, I love it. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich comes with a salad and a side of potatoes. The potatoes are the perfect delicious crunch I needed, the sandwich is phenomenal, and the salad is exactly what is needed to cut through all of the heavy carbs. No pressure, just pure delicious decision-making chaos. My husband and I ordered the same thing: The Croissant Avocado and Ham Sandwich. It looked absolutely incredible when it arrived. The croissant was Flaky gold. The yolk though, was a tad runny for my taste, which made the sandwich a little too rich and a bit of a yolk slippery adventure. Their pancakes, crepes, and waffles are all excellent! Overall, I think they do sweet items better than savory ones, but it is still very good. The Brea location is one where you order at the counter and then take a seat. I have never been in a situation where there is no where to sit, they have plenty of seating outside and a nice indoor dining space as well. Neither my boyfriend or I like it but thought we would try something different. The egg in the omelette was cooked differently than I'm used too and the spinach in it had an odor to it. It smelled like it was just cooked in a pan until it wilted down with no seasoning. The burger was fine, nothing special that would make it stand out. We really enjoyed the potatoes that came with each meal. The mozzarella sticks were interesting, the batter had a sweeter taste to it. Almost forgot the important part! The staff here is SO KIND!! They fill waters when they see them low, help clear plates and very informative of the menu. Overall, our taste did not match the taste of the restaurant.
