Tried Bruxie for the first time and went with the krckin "Nashville " Hot and honestly, so good. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the sauce added the perfect amount of flavor without being too heavy. Love this location, the staff was super friendly, and the space feels modern and stylish. Such a great vibe overall. Definitely coming back for more. Bruxie 215 W Birch St, Brea, CA 92821

I ordered the Super Cluck Sandwich, Spiced Tots, and Strawberry Lemonade The Super Cluck Sandwich was AMAZING! I would Highly recommend it, all of the ingredients compliment each other very well. There was just the right amount of maple syrup where it's really just complimenting and not overtaking the flavor. The Waffle was warm, crunchy, and thin, the egg was cooked to perfection, the bacon was not too crunchy and not too soft, and the chicken was breaded nicely and tasted great. I would definitely recommend to order this. The spiced tots are pretty good, they are not overly seasoned, they came out hot and crunchy. Everything you'd expect from some good tots, I would recommend to order these. The Strawberry lemonade was good but overly sweet for me, it leaves a sticky after taste from the amount of sugar, this would be a refreshing drink with less sugar. Definitely make sure to grab some hand wipes (they are provided here at the restaurant) because the sandwich is pretty messy. That's not a deal breaker for me. The ambiance is nice and very casual with good music. The staff is friendly. I'll for sure be back.

Been here multiple times but the last time I went here was 10yrs ago. The menu change a lot they only have chicken waffles. I remember before they used to have pastrami waffle, breakfast waffles with egg and etc. the original chicken waffle is really good. The waffles fries is really good very crispy and you can tell it's freshly cooked. Service was okay. The person was taking our order is not friendly and just stand there. Parking is easy .

This Bruxie is located in downtown Brea which is a beautiful location with a free parking structure next to it! There's a lot of surrounding activities like movie theaters, desserts and coffee shops. I had the Original which was actually a really good fried chicken and waffle sando - what really surprised me was the sauce which was a syrup + little spicy kick to it. Wasn't too spicy for me, but something to think about if you can't handle spice. Service was good too - it's an order at the front type restaurant but the waitress stepped outside to ask if there's anything we needed. I just advise to clean the tables after people are done, there's some crumbs left over on the tables outside.

It had been a while since last time I was here. I used to love their Holy chicken which is now named super cluck. I was a bit disappointed because it's not as I remembered it. I remember it tasting better and I couldn't pin point what the difference was. The spiced tots were very spicy and had way too much of the Cajun spice as you can see what was left behind. The tots portion was very generous but too spicy for me. We noticed at the end that you can purchase dipping sauces. I wish they would've told us but maybe next time. The staff were nice as usual and were trying to keep the areas clean. They have restrooms onsite and the sink area outside that's very accessible. It is a fast casual ambiance where you order at the register, you get a number and they bring your order to you. The drinks are self service and unlimited refills. There is a parking structure that's super close to the location behind the movie theatre. I'm giving it a 4 star because I do think it's pricey for what you get and the portion does seem to have shrank a little for the holy chicken.

Food always hits at this spot, can't go wrong with chicken and waffles and surprisingly love the salad here.

Food was amazing I got the original and was so impressed! First time visiting and if ever in the area would come back and definitely recommend. Also tried the tater tots which were good. Restaurant is clean and I like the sink setup. Service was quick and I also tried their strawberry lemonade which was very fresh and tasty :)

We came last night around 6:30pm and we were so excited for our chicken and waffles. The service was excellent, the food came out hot and was SO delicious! I really want to highlight Eric- he was very hospitable and tentative from the beginning to the end. Though they got busy at some point, he and the other girl that was working were all around tending to guests and stayed on top of the place being clean. The team overall works really hard, including the kitchen crew since they're the ones behind the real magic of the food. We will be returning soon! Thanks for a great experience!

Strawberry creme brulee waffle

Overall, going to Bruxies is a pretty fun experience, as it's a mix of order yourself and service where the staff will bring out your orders. The waffles are super crisp and yummy, especially the strawberry creme Brulee waffle which I get every time. I love that there is plentiful parking in Brea downtown, and overall, the area just has a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Will be back for waffles soon!

THE ORIGINAL & SPICED TOTS & STRAWBERRY LEMONADE

Came in on a weekday for lunch and it was pretty empty. Service was friendly and lots of seating is available. You order at the register and they bring your food to you. Prices are on the higher side for a sandwich and tots. What I Ordered: -The Original Sandwich: This is their classic fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and is served on a waffle. The chicken has a great chicken to breading ratio and is so flavorful. There's a bit of a spice to it along with a sweetness because of the honey/syrupy sauce. The coleslaw provides a crunchy texture and mutes the savoriness of the chicken as well. The waffle is crispy and buttery! This is a very solid waffle sandwich for sure. 5/5 -Spiced Tots: The tater tots aren't very spicy at first but when you keep eating them, they do get pretty spicy. But crunchiness is perfect and seasoning is a great savory, Cajun kind of flavor. 5/5 -Strawberry Lemonade: This is one of their specialties and I always enjoy it! It's a bit more on the sour side but the sweetness makes it more bearable. You could definitely tell it's fresh and they make it themselves. 4/5 Overall, I always enjoy my food here. They've got consistency, a great variety of options, and quality food. It's just kind of on the pricier side for the portion of food you're getting. Nonetheless, I still really like this place and will continue to eat here when I can!

Tyler was awesome. Walked in right before closing and he was still very accommodating. Young lad too. Will be back simply because of him.

For some reason the refinery spend their 40 minutes cooking the hell out of my burger, and they could even put the tooth pick in the middle of my burger, like is it that hard to stab my burger in the middle. I honestly don't know how The Refinery inside the Hilton in Brea manages to stay open. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. First off, the place looks nice when you walk in, but that's where the positives end. The service was painfully slow -- not the "busy restaurant" kind of slow, but the "did anyone remember we're here?" kind. We waited forever just to get water, and it somehow took even longer for the food. Then the food actually showed up... and wow. Bland, overpriced, and somehow still cold. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week. For a restaurant attached to a Hilton, I expected at least basic quality, but this felt like cafeteria food with steakhouse prices. To make things worse, the staff acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. No check-ins, no refills, no effort. Just vibes of "please eat and leave." Between the slow service, disappointing food, and ridiculous prices, this place feels like a tourist trap hiding in a hotel lobby. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else in Brea. Even a gas station snack run would be a better experience.
