I've picked up food from this location twice since they opened and have no complaints at all. I 100% recommend their Half & Half Whole Chicken with their Golden Original & Secret Sauce. The one thing that bb.q Chicken does that blows every other competitor out of the water is their secret sauce. It's basically Korean fried chicken on crack because the flavor is BOMBDOTCOM. Had lunch here before heading back to sac .. the restaurant is pretty small with about 5 tables to sit and enjoy your food. Service was pretty bad .. there was a screen to order on counter when you first walk in.. I thought we had to order before sitting so I started my order.. guy asked if we was taking to go or eating here I said we would like to eat here so he gave us some menus and told us to pick any table. We picked our table and looked at the menu for a good while waiting for him to come take our order but he never did nor did he explain that we had to order on the mini screen from the table. My son said," mom maybe we have to order on the screen" and so we ordered from screen. When the food came out he brought it over one by one but never said a word to us.. literally plopped it down and walked away. He brought us our 3 soda cans with 1 cup of ice and two cups stacked under it. I asked if I can have another cup of ice and he brought over one more cup with literally 4 piece of ice in it. lol ‍ After all our food came out we ate without him ever coming over to ask us if we needed anything else.. when we were done I asked for some boxes to take our leftover and he didn't say a word just brought boxes over and a bag and left it on table and walked away lol.. his service was pretty bad honestly .. but the chicken was so good! Today was an extremely disappointing experience. About an hour after placing my order, I received a notification saying it was ready for pickup. However, when I arrived, the restaurant was overcrowded, and nearly every customer was complaining about delayed orders. If the business was unable to handle the volume of orders, they should have stopped accepting new ones. Several customers said they had been waiting two to four hours and still had not received their food. I had ordered food for 10 people, but there was no clear communication about when my order would actually be ready. Had I known about the delay, I would have ordered takeout elsewhere instead of wasting my time waiting. What was most upsetting was seeing a young cashier left alone to deal with a room full of frustrated customers. Management should have stepped in, explained the situation, and apologized instead of leaving one employee to handle everything. Poor communication, unrealistic order estimates, and a lack of accountability from management made this a very frustrating experience. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but customers deserve honest updates, accurate expectations, and better service. read more

I've always been curious, but never went... but the other day I was craving chicken and saw they had a lunch special of chicken + fries or rice and a soda for $14.99, so decided to give it a try. Inside you will find k-pop bands playing on tv. I went after 1:00 so it wasn't very crowded either. The food - the chicken was nice and juicy, though it could use a bit of salt if eating without the sauce. I was a bit iffy about having my chicken drenched in sauce so I ended up getting it on the side and I'm glad I did. I ended up dipping my chicken in the garlic+soy sauce, which was good but could also be a bit over bearing. The fries that came with it were nice and crunch and full of flavor. The best part was this is a very generous lunch portion. With a rise in inflation, felt a bit like I hit the jackpot as I had lunch and dinner. All 5 of us order 5 different flavors of boneless chicken lunch set with different flavors, sides, and choice of soft drinks. My choice is secret sauce! It's sweet with some spiciness. Mostly the sauce is very abundant. I like the chicken and the sweet potato fries! And it goes well with ice soft drinks. Using gloves is a nice touch. I don't like the taste of the batter or flour they used on skin, but maybe I am just sensitive. Best chicken spot in town hands down! I love their kimchi fried rice and garlic soy chicken. It always comes out really hot which I love when it's scorching hot and not lukewarm food like some restaurants. The service is pretty good, it's not bad compared to other spots I've been to, attentive and they check in on you to see if you need anything or want anything. I've been getting spicy original from here for a while now. Today I ordered boneless gangjeong and spicy original. It doesn't have the texture or taste of traditional Korean style gangjeong, but it's delicious and moist. I think it's a flavor that teenagers would like. The spicy original seems to be a little saltier than before, but maybe it's more suitable for California weather. I have ordered from this location multiple times and they never disappoint. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it is generally ok. I typically place orders ahead and just pick them up. They have seating area inside, but it is small so keep in mind if in a large group. The staff is really nice and organized with the orders. They always confirm my order before handing it to me. The to go packaging is perfect, it is sturdy and gets the job done. I drove about 10 mins home and everything was great. The wing boxes have ventilation to prevent them from getting soggy. They also provide plastic utensils. One of the best parts of their wings is the how crunchy they are! I don't personally eat much spicy (hot) so their original hot ones are too much for me. The garlic soy ones are my usual go to here as they have a good sweet/sour balance and are not spicy at all. I would like just a tiny bit of a kick but based on descriptions, it doesn't seem like there is an in between. The kimchi fried rice is DELICIOUS! it is a very large portion so I can easily make 2 meals out of it if not 3. I love adding the cheese as they make a layer on the top with it and it gives it the extra gooeyness that I love. I'm not even sure how to describe the flavour because it is not kimchi in my opinion. Also, I'm pretty sure it has small pieces of chicken or something that looks and tastes like chicken. If you are looking for a vegetarian dish, you may want to confirm.
