Two 2 Italian Meatballs

Delicious food and great service! Went there tonight for dinner, I ordered filet mignon and my husband ordered the ribeye steak, both were very delicious and perfectly cooked! For dessert we had butter cake with gelato, my daughter loved it. Will be back soon!

ONE OF THE BEST DINNER SPOTS!! I have never been so in awe of the service, small details, and food. Truly an experience. You can tell the owners love this place in shows. Low light and a perfect spot for dinner.

Great local Italian food and love that they are open daily for brunch! We've come here many times for meetings or to meet family. We've love the Italian flavors and some of our favorites include bruschetta and the eggplant parmigiana. When you walk in you are greeted by staff and the wait staff is warm and welcoming. You can choose to sit inside or outside. We've met friends and family here so it's a great spot for breakfast/brunch or dinner.

What was inside the crepe

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I've lived in the area for over 8 years and decided to stop in to get a crepe for my kids. I ordered a crepe with half bananas, and I noticed someone in the back--who I assume may be the owner--shaking his head. They still took the order, but I could tell there was an issue when what looked like the manager went over to talk to the server. I told him it was fine and to just make it banana and Nutella. When the order was ready, they put the bananas in a separate to-go box instead of inside the crepe. The manager seemed to know that wasn't correct and tried to take it back, but I said I'd just handle it. When I got home and opened the crepe, this is what I found. It was really disappointing. I didn't want to post anything because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try their other food, but this experience left me very upset.

Filet mignon with mixed veggies and roasted baby potatoes

Quaint restaurant. Tonight was their valentines pre-fixe dinner for $150/couple. Choice of burrata salad or mushroom cream soup, six different entrees and one desert to share. The soup was creamy and flavorful with lots of mushrooms. My wife enjoyed the salad. For entrees we had the fettuccine with scallops and shrimp and the filet mignon. Both dishes were good. Steak was tender. Chocolate mousse cake was quite tasty. Overall the meal was enjoyable, maybe a bit sd overpriced. A dessert each would have been nice. Attentive service.

Scallops and linguine

First time here. I walked in after 8, and they closed at 9, so I didn't want to order a meal. Was just going to have a glass of wine and maybe an appetizer, so as to not be "that guy". The restaurant was still pretty full, and the friendly staff talked me in to ordering a meal. I went with one of the "specials" which was scallops in a wine/butter sauce and a side of linguini. It was absolutely delicious! I almost licked the plate. My only complaint was I thought the price ($42) was a little steep but not too bad (since inflation makes McDonald's $25 now). All in all I spent over $100 for dinner for a couple glasses of wine and that meal, so I can't do it that often. The food was memorable enough and the staff was awesome so I'll def be back, when I have some extra cash lol!

Are you looking for authentic Italian food? Well look no further. This is definitely on my short list of great Italian restaurants, which is very short. Service is impressive and I love the decor. All very pleasing.

Food was excellent. A bit pricy but great for get together. Waitress was great and so sweet. I would def go back again.

Olive oil, vinegar, and Chianti from Tuscany

We had dinner her on Saturday night, this place was busy. I think its my favorite place for Italian food in North County. The bread, bruschetta, and cappalini scampi are my favorite. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs balls and it was a huge portion, he even got 2 more meals out of it when he took it home.

Capellini Gambert

First of all the service is incredible. The staff was incredibly accommodating. My daughter said that the bread is the best ever. Pizza is great! Capellini gamberi is amazing and same with the pasta with meat sauce!!

We had such a great time here last night, Saturday at 5 pm and a party of four! I made the reservation using the OpenTable app, so easy! Cool restaurant, nice vibe. It is a small location, but it works really well for them. Inside and outside seating available. Table seating and bar also available. Parking can be a bit crowded because of the shopping center, but there is plenty of parking available in that area. At 5 pm, it was just us four, and 2 other tables taken. By the time we left, around 7 pm, the restaurant was pretty busy with all table taken and people trickling in and out. Our waiter, Ignacio AKA Nacho, was very welcoming, very polite, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the whole time. He was on point! The food was delicious! Prices are average, in par with other restaurants of the same type. We really enjoyed the food, it was filling, tasted fresh, high quality, and of good quantity. We left happy. Awesome time! Until the next time!

I hesitate to write a review only because we love this place and don't want it to get so busy we can't get in (kinda kidding). This is our little local hidden gem. The restaurant is in a strip mall but the food and service belong in a fancy dining establishment. Any of the dishes we've had have never disappointed. We've taken quite a few friends to share in our little hidden gem and everyone absolutely loves it. I have a basil allergy and they are always very cautious and accommodating whenever possible. *** the only "weird" thing about this place is their restroom location but I think I can overlook because their food is so good

From the moment we walked in, I felt like I had time-traveled straight to 1972... almost like dining on the set of The Godfather. The atmosphere is classic, warm, and authentic, and the customer service was outstanding--attentive without being overbearing. We started with a Caesar salad to share, and it was the real deal. You could actually taste the anchovy--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Easily enough for two. My wife ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and said it was some of the best she's ever had. That's saying something. I had the chicken parmigiana, and it was spot on--perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely mouthwatering. The side of spaghetti marinara paired with it couldn't have been better. The meal came with hot rolls served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar--simple and excellent. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread, and it was fantastic--fresh garlic, plenty of parmesan, perfectly done. Fair warning: it's a lot for two people, but it takes home beautifully. If you're in the mood for authentic Italian comfort food with a nostalgic, old-school vibe, this place delivers. We'll definitely be back.

Waitlisted and by the time we got there, we were sat. It took a while for the server to come, get waters, and then take our order. We ordered a Caesar salad and it came out with mozzarella cheese? Not sure when Caesar's came with mozzy instead of Parmesan The food did take a while to come out even though it wasn't super busy. The big group had already left and the other tables were empty. When the food came out although it was a big portion, the pasta was definitely over cooked. It was super soft and super saucy. I love sauce, but that was definitely too much. My friend who got the spaghetti and meatballs, we were weirded out by the meatballs because it was TOO soft and tasted weird. There was not texture to it. Overall, I don't think I will be coming back to this place :/

It was a late night, so we didn't want to eat too much. We asked to split the lasagna, and it ended up being the perfect portion for two. The lasagna itself was meaty, rich, and really satisfying. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread. It wasn't as crunchy as we had hoped at first, but the staff was more than happy to remake it for us, which we really appreciated. It definitely tasted better after. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with good food and attentive service. We'll definitely be back.

I'm not gonna lie though... it is kinda pricey for pasta but the recipes really remind me of grandma cooking -- super traditional, hearty, old-school Italian style. Nothing wrong with that at all, it's just personally I'm more of a pink sauce, creamy vodka sauce kinda guy these days Usually my go-to order is the Chef's Special rigatoni with sausage and mushrooms in that porcini sauce That dish never really misses for me. I also ALWAYS gotta get the breaded lamb chops with the peppercorn sauce because those are honestly one of the best things on the menu in my opinion. Crispy outside, juicy inside, sauce goes crazy This time though I decided to switch it up and tried the Linguine Sarno. It was good overall, seafood was solid, pasta cooked right, but I honestly wish it had more spice to it I kept waiting for a little kick that never fully came. Still decent though if you like lighter seafood pasta flavors. Also quick warning about the calamari because I learned the hard way last time make sure you finish it the SAME day. Once it sits overnight it turns super hard and chewy. Even tossing it in the air fryer the next day couldn't save it lol. One thing I will say is the service can be a little slower than expected sometimes. I usually call my order in like an hour ahead before getting off work, and this time when I got there it still wasn't ready yet But to be fair, the staff has always been really friendly, professional, and respectful every time I come through, so it kinda balances out. Ambiance is pretty much your standard quiet Italian restaurant vibes Nothing super modern or trendy, no loud music, just calm, chill, old-school dinner atmosphere where everybody's just there to eat good pasta and mind their business Overall still a solid comfort food spot when you're in the mood for classic Italian flavors

The one waitress was on her phone when we walked in and seemed kind of bothered that we were interrupting. The location is kind of small so parties of 4+ might have an issue with seating. They didn't have a sampler "TOUR" like other restaurants, and I decided to go with the Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken, Side Meatballs and side salad. This is when the restaurant started getting busy. The salad arrived was less than to be desired and there was barely any dressing. She then dropped off the Meatballs that were cold and I asked to please send them back. Needless to say I was becoming slightly agitated due to being hungry. Then my main dish ordered was not Chicken Alfredo. The other people at my table said that their dishes were amazing. I was like, ill believe it when it comes. I am happy to say that when the dish arrived it was everything that I wanted, and she brought back the meatballs that were warm and her attitude seemed to improve as things got busier and the experience finished very well.
