We have passed this restaurant on many occasions over the years and finally decided to stop in. I am glad that we did, because it was very good. The overall vibe as well as the menu, is diner like. The girl at the front counter was very pleasant and the food arrived at our table very quickly. All of our food was definitely made to order and was very tasty! PK Burgers is an easy recommendation!

I stopped by to try the omelette rice bowl, and a corn dog because I was feeling nostalgic. The rice bowl is bland, but the really issue her is with a $4 corn dog that's completely inedible.

Came in on a Saturday morning for a breakfast burrito and was not disappointed! I ordered the bacon and sausage burrito--it came out hot, fresh, and in under 10 minutes. It was absolutely delicious and HUGE! Definitely a great deal at just $12. The staff were super friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in, which made the experience even better. I did take out but it has a cute diner feel inside. Next time, I'd love to try it with some of their salsas, but honestly, it had great flavor all on its own. Will definitely be back!

Great friendly and quick service! Came in for a quick dinner to go after work. I wanted an easy burger/fries combo that wasn't in n out and this IS the spot! It was exactly what I was looking for. It reminded me of those spots you'd go to after school. Perfect burger, fat fries, all fresh. Definitely come in and support this local business. We love PK!

PK Burgers is under different ownership than it was 2 decades ago, but the food is still bomb. The fried zucchini is still one of the best fried zucchini in town. A small order is still huge, so you get some good bang for your buck. It's the same lil hole in the wall restaurant situated across the street from Whole Foods. The owner has had his work cut out for him but he's always nice and polite. Right now they close everyday at 3!

We were craving some yummy breakfast food, so PK burgers it is. Nice and warm, quick service and kind service. Can always count on this food to hit the spot.

I've been coming to PK burgers for 27 years since i moved to the area. Lunch is my regular meal there, I love their pastrami sandwiches. This trip was a quick breakfast on the way to church. I had the French toast combo and my girlfriend had steak and eggs. Food was good, as usual. Their prices are always reasonable. Order and pay at the counter, fill your own fountain drinks, and your food is brought to your table when it's ready. Indoor and patio seating for diners. Bright and airy little mom and pop restaurant. Definitely a local gem.

This is a bacon and sausage burrito? I've taken 5 bites and it's all hashbrown and hot sauce. I come to give this place a try from all the photos and dissapointed

Gave this place a try for breakfast. I had the Denver Omelet with hashbrowns and a side of toasts. It was ok. An hour later, I had to do a number 2 and 3. It wasn't fun. The worker who took the order was nice. Place could use some upgrading. They have tables outside, which is convenient. There are 2 separate entrances for parking. It can be hard to find parking if this place fills up.

Its a regular burger stand with ok food! I ordered a pastrami burger and they barely put any pastrami on it. It just looked like a regular hamburger until i raised the bun and saw there were little pieces of pastrami in it lol. Fries were not good. I usually like them crispy. Customer service ok. They have outside seating and easy in and out parking! I'm going to have to travel to try Brea's Best Burgers for my next trip! Can't see myself coming back here. Food Rating... Pastrami Burger: 6.5/10 come on put some pastrami on it!! Fries 5.0/10 Not very good

I mentioned I couldn't eat green bell peppers and she graciously took them out of my Greek salad, which she did not have to do and is not part of her job. But her customer service was outstanding. Thank you for hiring such a great employee.

Bottom Line Up Front: If you like Greek food but don't want…read moreto pay big bucks at an traditional sit-down restaurant, Apola can be your yummy, budget-friendly alternative. The Food: Let me start by saying this is clearly an American take on Greek food, so if you're looking for super authentic food, look elsewhere. But if you're OK with a fusion, Apola will satisfy your Mediterranean craving. There are gyros (pita wraps), bowls, combo plates, and burritos (see, there's that American take I was talking about). All of them range in quality from average to really good. Though I've been here several times, I'll focus on my last visit when we got "the Works" pita wrap and a Greek salad bowl. For the Works, it comes with all the fixings, your choice of protein, and fries stuffed inside (yes, inside, not as a side). I chose beef-and-lamb gyro meat, which came in a huge portion. (Pro Tip: I pulled the fries out and got a "free" side. Of course , there's not a lot of fries, but enough to satisfy my fried food craving.) The gyro was big and tasty. For the Greek salad bowl, we also got beef-and-lamb gyro meat. Once again, they hooked it up with the quantity. Nice! The ingredients (tomatoes, cucumber, feta, etc) were all fresh and seasoned nicely. Side note: I do find it odd that they call this dish a salad bowl when it comes in a rectangular plastic tray. But semantics aside, it was quite good. I also ordered a fountain drink and got a Coke. It was nice a crisp with a lot of carbonation. Just the way I like it. It's not as good as the exclusive Coke blend at McDonald's, but was a close second. I have had some pretty watered down Cokes at other places in recent years. The Service: There were two young gentlemen working the last time I visited, and they were both friendly and knowledgeable. They even brought our meals to our table, which was a nice touch for a fast food establishment. The Setting: It's located inside the recently revamped Yorba Linda Downtown, which has revitalized the area and made it a pleasant place to hang out. Unfortunately, on weekends, it's hard to find parking sometimes. Fortunately we came on a weekday and got parking nearby. Inside, Apola is clean and tidy with roughly enough tables and chairs for a variety of party sizes. The Conclusion: Apola offers good Mediterranean-inspired food for a reasonable price (compared to other restaurants these days) -- just don't expect it to be 100% authentic Greek food. It's not perfect and not super cheap, but with the right expectations set, I plan to return on semi-regular basis.

The burrito was bomb with how evenly them potato tots were distributed, fresh and irresistible. But the burger was so coveted with sauce it was impossible not to drench your fingers and palms or shirt with each flavorful bite. And it's In-N-Out, so the expectations are already high. I've been here twice this week already and the location itself is honestly fantastic. During the day it's calm and convenient, and I can only imagine how good the vibe must be at night with the outdoor seating and everything around it. I always use the drive thru and I love how long the line is because it keeps things organized. In-N-Out has a reputation for consistency and friendly service, and most of my experiences here have reflected that. That's exactly why I'm writing this instead of just brushing it off. Today though my interaction with one employee, Ayden Mo, really threw off the whole mood. He was the cashier at the first window. My order is a little complicated, I'll admit that, but it's completely within what In-N-Out allows. I have friends who work at In-N-Out and they've told me the whole point is that customers can customize their orders. When I pulled up to the first window he greeted me with "Hi, how are you?" and I started replying "I'm good, how are you..." but before I could even finish he cut me off and immediately started repeating my order. It instantly felt dismissive. Then when he was confirming the order he said something that really caught me off guard. Instead of clearly listing everything out he said something like "You got two Double Doubles extra lettuce extra tomato and a whole bunch of other things." A whole bunch of other things? That's not how you confirm someone's order, especially when there are specific modifications. I'm not ordering random stuff. I came here for specific things and I want to make sure I'm paying for exactly what I ordered. At that point my whole energy shifted and I just wanted to pay and leave. But the employee at the second window completely changed the tone. She greeted me, asked how I was doing, and when I asked how she was she actually answered and waited like a normal interaction. It was a small thing but it reminded me why people love In-N-Out service in the first place. So the experience ended up feeling half frustrating and half positive. I'm writing this because In-N-Out holds a really high standard and this just didn't feel like that standard was met. The interaction at the first window takes less than a minute, and that one minute can either make someone feel welcomed or completely dismissed. Everything else about this location is great, but because of that interaction I can't give it the full five stars it probably deserves.
