We've been eyeing this place for a while now and decided it was time to give it a try. It's not very fancy and slick-looking like other major chains, but it looks clean, and it always seems like there's a small line. It was late afternoon, so we went for a couple of smash burgers and fries. There was a line forming, so it was a little confusing where to pick up the food, but we figured it out. They'll just call our what you ordered and walk away, so stay close so I know which bag is yours. Everything is made after you order, so they aren't super-fast. The smash burger really was smashed, even the bun, but it tasted OK. I love the fries! Partially because I like what I can scrunchy fries. This is the only place in the food court if you want a burger, and it serves its purpose well. I'm rarely at the mall early enough for breakfast, but their menu looks good for a quick service place.

The cheeseburgers here are great! Prepare for a bit of a wait as they're made fresh. Super flavorful, smashed, quality beef, melty cheese, lettuce and sauce all mix together to form a perfect bite. The fries are bomb too, the tater tots were mid. It's in the brea mall food court, so be prepared for a mall ambiance.

Michelle took our order, we were hungry before going Christmas shopping never been to this place before. After we ordered Bagel and cream cheese for baby girl and I ordered the Loaded tater tots the line got long and busy. Our order took a while but Michelle was so sweet and helpful in choosing what to order. When I got it I was shocked how much they gave me it was filling, little spicy, had a lot of flavors. The bacon and onions were deliciously cooked and the egg was perfectly runny. I definitely recommend this mall breakfast place absolutely delicious and super friendly service. Thank you for our delicious breakfast and quick and friendly service. Definitely will be back here again. Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone :) Aloha

Save your money or go to Five Guys, this burger shouldn't be close to 15 dollars.

Initially, this place looked really good to me. The thought about having smash burgers and breakfast burritos, you can't beat that. However, I was disappointed with how an bacon avocado burger by itself costs nearly 15 dollars, and they don't even give you a double patty. It is quite disappointing and a complete rip off. The taste of the burger wasn't any better than what you can get at Five Guys. It's probably the first and last time I order a burger from here. The burger wasn't really anything special. It was just nice how thr avacados were placed inside it. Service was ok, but they don't even serve water cups. I was wondering why the place was empty compared to other places; but it seems clear why.

We eat out every day for lunch and have been craving a good mom & pop style burger with shredded lettuce and dressing. Last week we went to a place that was supposed to be the best in Brea. It was busy, the burger was big, but the patty lacked flavor and it was extremely dry (we had to use ketchup with every bite). This week, my business partner mentioned he had great smash burgers at the mall. Generally mall food is expensive and lackluster, but The Breakfast Factory was everything you would want. The price was extremely reasonable for the mall and they have Coke products. The fries were 10/10 if you like crispy and well seasoned and a huge portion. The burger was perfect and juicy with the perfect amount of spread, shredded lettuce, pickles and onions, and the patty was flavorful and not extremely thin. With all the burger options out there, this was a very good burger. Will be back again next time I want a good burger.

Meat & Veggie Combo Breakfast Burrito

Burrito was really good and stuffed. Ordered this veggie with meats burrito and a Machaca burrito. Both had really great flavor and not oily. I do have to say that I agree with one of the reviews here, the salsa's are really not that great, the red salsa tasted too much like tomato and the green salsa has a nice spice to it but no flavor. This place is a good option if you are looking for a breakfast burrito

After doing some holiday shopping at the mall, we stopped by the food court and discovered The Breakfast Factory which I didn't recognize from before. The all day breakfast burrito's called out to me! Cheeseburger ($6.99): Smashed patty accompanied with cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, chopped grilled onions, and sauce. I would have preferred whole lettuce as the shredded got a little messy but the overall flavors of the burger was quite good - tasted similar to In-N-Out. Best eaten right away as we did takeout and parts of the bun were soggy. Sausage Breakfast Burrito ($10.99): Decently sized burrito filled with sliced sausages, tater tots, cheese, and eggs rolled up in a tortilla. Was definitely glad the tater tots didn't overpower the burrito as there was a good amount of eggs included. Comes with red or green salsa - both had a nice kick. Good bang for your buck, especially for the food court.

The Breakfast Factory, a recent addition to Brea Mall, intrigued me with its menu featuring smash burgers. I ordered the cheeseburger combo and made a request to remove the tomatoes. They were still included, and I ended up having to remove them on my own. the fries were okay and seemed right from the freezer. Nevertheless, the burger itself proved to be good, complemented by a flavorful sauce. At $14, the combo's price feels excessive, prompting me to consider ordering just the burger next time or opting to the other food court options. Given that it's a food court, the level of activity can vary depending on the day of the week. However, there are usually plenty of seating spots available to accommodate diners.

Located inside a mall, is was super easy to find and what they serve is amazing. The loaded tots was literally my favorite breakfast food just mixed up. Since the loaded tots were enough to get me full I didn't get to try their other options such as the smash burger and breakfast burritos. I came out here to pick things up for work so not out here often but if I come back again for work, definitely will be back to try other delicious foods! Staff were really chill and seemed happy to serve.

Yelp definitely did not let us down! So we've been to Griffins a handful of times over the last yearish and while their menu is petite and nearly unchanged, we still usually get the same things. The most recent visit, we ordered our usual: 20 oz ribeye medium rare, patatas bravas, and crispy brussel sprouts. For the ribeye, I will say this time around compared to the other times we've been here, it was quite lacking. The ribeye was less flavored than usual and I feel like we either got an like an older piece of ribeye or maybe a poor cut off the ribeye because it was quite chewy and a bit tough in some places and not really tender. It was cooked perfectly medium rare, but it was just too chewy and it was not it's usual. I hope this is just a one off thing and that the next time we come back it's the usual delicious and tender one piece of ribeye. The patatas bravas were delicious, crispy, well displayed, and in two different sauces (forgot the name lol) and very tasty. The other highlight is their crispy brussel sprouts. We try and order this at any restaurant; however, most do not do it as perfect as Griffins. It is super crispy, but not charred, very flavorful but not overpowering for a side dish/appetizer, and most importantly, it's not greased up like so many other places. The restaurant is located in that downtown Brea and has plenty of seating but always do reservations regardless. The environment is more dark, relaxing, and a great date spot. Parking is no issue as there is parking in the back (which I believe is valet) but there is a parking structure across the street. Pricing is as expected when compared to other restaurants of similar caliber. Griffins has a very large alcohol drink section, but the ladyfriend and I prefer our non alcohol drinks and I can never say no to Dr. Pepper. Aside from this off night ribeye we had, highly recommended if you are looking for a steak restaurant in this year. Their brussel sprouts will never let you down either!

We sat for over **20 minutes** without anyone coming to our table--not even to offer water. I eventually had to get up and ask someone to send a server over. What made it even more frustrating was watching other parties who arrived **15-20 minutes after us** receive water immediately and have their orders taken before anyone even acknowledged our table. After finally waiting another 10 minutes to receive our water, we had to track down our server again just to place our food order because no one returned to check on us. By that point, we had been sitting long enough and were more than ready to order. To make matters worse, we ordered an appetizer of coconut shrimp about five minutes after placing our entrée order, but it never arrived. After we had already finished our meals, we asked to cancel it, only to be told that our server had never entered the order in the first place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the poor service. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. This experience was frustrating enough that I cannot recommend Reunion Kitchen. I initially wanted to believe this was simply an off day or an inexperienced server, but after hearing from two other people I know who described nearly identical experiences, it seems this may be a recurring issue. One thing that left me especially uncomfortable was seeing guests who arrived well after us receive prompt attention while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I can't say why that happened, but it certainly made us question whether we were being treated differently. I sincerely hope the restaurant looks into its service standards and ensures every guest is treated with the same level of respect and attention.

Definitely a place you can come watch sports or hang out with big groups. My husband and I came in on a weekday, a little before 8 for dinner. There were probably 5-7 parties throughout the restaurant and 2 people at the bar. No host at the front. Servers working at bar and a server walking around. No acknowledgment from staff or even a glance our direction. We decided to wait a few more minutes, if no one helps us we will leave. A few minutes later, a server quickly walks from the back. He grabs menus and takes us to a table. I liked that the booth was huge for just the 2 of us. I didn't like that the restaurant was pretty empty and we were seated by the bathroom and in front of the kitchen. Our server was Bryce and he was nice. We ordered: Steak fajitas - read a lot of reviews about this and it was just okay. I'm not sure what I was expecting. It's definitely a serving for 1. The steak was tough, but the veggies had flavor and cooked perfectly. The tortilla was also good. I ended up eating the veggies with the tortilla without the steak. It comes with small ramekins of sour cream, guacamole & the black bean salsa - which was more like a purée. Deviled eggs - so, I love deviled eggs. If it's on the menu at any restaurant, I always order them. These were very runny. The flavor was good, but the texture of the yolk was like baby food. I wouldn't order again. Grilled cheese & soup - this was good. Very cheesy. I thought the glasses for the drinks were cute. I drank about 1/2 my coke and noticed the glass was dirty with specs of food, both inside the glass and outside. My cloth napkin also had stains. We are local, so if our friends wanted to come back, we might try it again, but this would not be my first choice.

Life happened, years passed, and somehow I never made it back. Fast forward to today: I was driving my Tesla, jokingly asked Grok to take me somewhere for a beer, and it pointed me right back here. Walking in felt like revisiting a place that had been quietly waiting in the background of my story. The centerpiece is still the incredible bar. Shelves stacked floor to ceiling with whiskey bottles, glowing green tile behind the taps, warm lighting, and enough character that you can spend half your time simply looking around. It's the kind of room that feels both energetic and comfortable at the same time. I grabbed a seat at the bar, watched a soccer match on the TVs, and ordered an Old Fashioned. It arrived exactly the way I hoped it would: large clear ice cube, generous orange peel, balanced and smooth without trying too hard. Just a well-made classic cocktail. What stood out most was the atmosphere. These days I'm much more likely to be exploring hiking trails, photographing wildflowers, or driving mountain roads than spending time in bars. Twelve years ago, places like this were a much more regular part of my life. Coming back reminded me why I enjoyed them in the first place. Good conversation, a comfortable seat, a quality drink, and no rush to be anywhere else. The beer taps looked extensive, the whiskey selection seemed endless, and the entire place struck a balance between neighborhood pub and whiskey destination. Funny how a random AI navigation suggestion brought me back to a place I'd been meaning to revisit for over a decade. Glad it finally did. 5 stars.

First off, the place looks nice when you walk in, but that's where the positives end. The service was painfully slow -- not the "busy restaurant" kind of slow, but the "did anyone remember we're here?" kind. We waited forever just to get water, and it somehow took even longer for the food. Then the food actually showed up... and wow. Bland, overpriced, and somehow still cold. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week. For a restaurant attached to a Hilton, I expected at least basic quality, but this felt like cafeteria food with steakhouse prices. To make things worse, the staff acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. No check-ins, no refills, no effort. Just vibes of "please eat and leave." Between the slow service, disappointing food, and ridiculous prices, this place feels like a tourist trap hiding in a hotel lobby. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else in Brea. I ordered the Mexican Mocha latte with oat milk, and it wasn't the most flavorful - it was a mild flavor. I liked it but wasn't my favorite. My mom ordered the steak & eggs, and she thought it was very filling and tasty. A little plain though but to be expected with a steak and eggs, she was expecting a thicker cut.

A couple other employees walked past us and didn't acknowledge us. We both work in a restaurant, she's a server and i'm a manager, you don't just leave a table sitting without saying something. I don't remember our servers name but he was nice. My friend ordered a vanilla latte and the crunch berry french toast. I order a watermelon margarita and the chilaquiles. She got her latte a few minutes after ordering, I didn't get my margarita for about 10-15 minutes. I got it the same time we got our food. When we were ordering the server asked if we wanted a couple of waters, we didn't get them until after we got our food. The chilaquiles were good. I love my food spicy and the flavor hit! The rice was pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the beans, they weren't bad, but they weren't good. The watermelon margarita was okay, the flavor was nice but it didn't seem like there was much tequila. The french toast was good also. She really liked it, same with the potatoes! The latte she didn't really like, she said it just tasted plain.

Passed by this place and decided to give it a try. What a unique German restaurant right in Brea…read more It instantly reminded me of the Hofbräuhaus in Vegas with its friendly and welcoming food hall. I'm not super familiar with German cuisine, but everything felt authentic and traditional. I ordered their popular Ruben sandwich, served hot with corned beef, sauerkraut, and a Russian dressing on rye bread. It was delicious and packed with meat and flavor. The fries that came along with it were so crispy and tasty. I also tried the breaded veal cutlet, which is a German specialty. Both dishes were very good and hearty. They also have a great beer selection on draft. I went with the Spaten Pilsner, which paired perfectly with the meal. I love that each of their beers is served in its own branded glass. It was just super filling, I wasn't able to finish everything. Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I'd come back to and try their various specialties (like their sausages) !

Located on birch street in Brea this resturant is located right next to the Improv & reunion…read moreResturant. For parking use the parking structures. There is a large bar area. It is very dim inside the environment, but the noise level was loud which was great for the group dinner i went for. The grilled oysters, center ribeye, Brussel sprouts, and creamed spinach was delicious! I would not get the charcuterie board or the gnocchi again just pricey for what it was. Now they have about ten choices for desserts but i loved the huge slice of carrot cake over the warm butter cake although that was good too. Overall the establishment was clean and the service was fast and everybody was friendly and professional. I will be coming back for sure.

Fantastic meal. Went for my mom's 80th birthday and we weren't disappointed…read more Raw oysters: delicious and fresh Caviar: so good. Interesting little toasts they serve with it (used to blinis). Gave us a refill when we ran out. Porterhouse: huge! And cooked perfectly medium rare. Came with 2 sides of our choice and butter cake for dessert. Short ribs: delicious. My sister who eats like a bird finished the whole dish. Ribeye add lobster meat: the birthday girl wanted steak and lobster, so that's what she got! Cooked perfectly and she was very happy. Rack of lamb: sooooo good. Cooked medium rare. Great flavor. Came with a whole head of roasted garlic. SIDES: Gnocchi: Good flavor, big portion Broccolini: deliciously roasted Asparagus: very good with hollandaise Creamed corn: fantastic sweet creamy corn Butter cake: good portion! Wish it wasn't dusted with sugar crystals Carrot cake: massive slice. So yummy. Could have been a little more moist. Birthday dessert: chocolate mousse with coulis, I think (my mom didn't share lol!!!)--delicious, not too sweet. Bomb berry cocktail: red berry vodka, lemon, muddled raspberry. Too easy to drink lol. Also ordered the non-alcoholic version and it was really refreshing. Attentive and friendly service by all. Ambiance was so nice. Only wish they could have personalized the birthday celebration a little more by adding a name to the birthday dessert. It's so special to see your name and is an easy addition. Overall, would 100% go back. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
