Little Easter Egg. It's the old Meat Up sign, now it's just EAT UP!
Joe F.

Enjoyed the location. Visited back when it was Meat Up. Staff was extremely friendly with our family and kids. Even helped us out when our kiddos changed their mind mid meal. The fries ate were essentially animal style fries. So good and filling. Had the western burger. Cook was spit on; I would take off the lettuce and tomato for the western. Things come as main and sides. So you can mix and match. They even brought us a number of tasters outside on the patio for us to try. Will be back for sure. H

Special delicious restaurant during my journey, if you've been following along (see my review for Escape Brewery in Redlands!)... I've been coming to this local joint in Placentia for a few months, working to clean out my dad's house and manage his estate since he passed away. This place has been straight-up perfect service with comfort food, first off because I love a good selecting of local/regional beers, but also... because tater tots make everything better. Great bar seating, indoor and outdoor seating, lots of TVs work sports if that's your thing, but not obnoxiously loud if it's not your thing. I ALWAYS -- at any restaurant-- get the Bleu Burger, which is delicious, but in an effort to step outside my box one day, ordered the Teriyaki Avocado burger and oh my . All the loaded fries/tater tots are amazing but fav tots is Craft and fries are the short rib poutine (obviously). Come eat, drink and be merry, you won't be disappointed. Did I mention the beer selection? Did I mention the loaded onion rings? Did I mention the loaded potstickers? I mean...! Support Local!!

Delicious burgers, friendly & quick service, clean restaurant! We've been dying to try this place for months, we finally stopped in on a weekend - it wasn't too busy and parking was easy in their large lot. We tried the buffalo chicken loaded fries, house beer battered onion rings (with sauce on the side), garlic burger, and picante burger. Everything was delicious, the onion rings may have been the best we've ever had!!! The batter was thin yet crunchy and not super greasy, the onion strips were the perfect thickness and size, they were just the best. This is a great spot to meet up with friends, for a casual date night, or to celebrate after a sporting event with a team, both for kids and adults! Highly recommend stopping in for yourself, we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Tasty burgers (esp California and Garlic burgers) made fresh. However the rest of our meal- wings , house chili and tots were a salt bomb (!!) which left us dry mouthed for 24 hours haha. To be honest, the salt level alone will likely keep me from a return visit. But I did appreciate the service and nice beer list here too. Some room for improvement in terms of seasoning(s) but stick with the burgers and beer and you'll be fine!

CALIFORNIA BURGER

Came in craving a good burger and found this spot on Yelp with great reviews. I ordered the Garlic Burger while my wife went with the Cali Burger. The Garlic Burger had really good flavor and the patty was super tender--just wish it packed a little more garlic punch. The Cali Burger was stacked with bacon, avocado, and topped with an egg, making it a hearty and flavorful choice. Overall, the food was delicious, portions were solid, and the experience was great. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Visited Craft Burger on a Sunday night while out on the town with my dad and two of our friends that live in Placentia. They've been here before but I haven't, so I was looking forward to trying out this cool hole in the wall place! We sat at a table near the entrance above numerous police patches from several California cities. My childhood friend, who is a 911 dispatcher, actually has family in Corona, and when I saw the Corona patch, I just had to take a picture of the entire wall and send it to him. He loved the photo less than a second after I sent it to him. We started off with some beers before ordering our food. My dad and two of our friends requested a sampler of the Unsung Pickler, while I wanted to try a sampler of the Unsung Mimosa. They ended up ordering the Unsung Pickler while I stuck with the Unsung Mimosa, although I view a Mimosa as a morning/brunch kind of drink. I didn't get the chance to try out the Pickler, as I think that pickles aren't a good mix with alcoholic drinks. M As this place is called Craft Burger, they have several delicious burger selections. I ordered their mac attack cheese burger, which was literally PACKED with mac and cheese to the brim of the burger and beyond. My dad and one of our friends both got the garlic burger, which had two massive onion rings on top, and our other friend just got a simple, plain cheeseburger. My dad and I also shared a big side of carne asada tater tots. We knew that we weren't going to finish the whole thing, so good thing we had a microwave and fridge back at our hotel! Amazing burgers and beer selections await here! I'm happy that I was introduced to this place, although I don't live in California myself. I hope to come back again during my next visit!

My daughter and I stopped in for a late night meal. So glad we did! We got the classic cheese burger and added extra pickles and grilled mushrooms. It was perfectly Medium and super juicy. We also got a bowl of chili with all the fixings and it did not disappoint. We rounded out our meal with strawberry shake and that sealed the deal... we will be back!

I have quite a few food, allergies, and they were so accommodating. Very yummy.

Food is amazing. The service so lovely. And I actually love atmosphere. I've gone twice. They do not disappoint.

Been here a couple times now. Food and service are good. This time I finally tried loaded tots/fries. Server recommended Birria or Carne Asada. Went with the Birria, half tots/half fries. Would do all tots if I did it again, and I asked for them well done. The heat on the sauce they provided was a bit much but still delicious. The meat was really good, the tots well cooked. Hubby likes their fried Mozzarella so we usually get that to start. They arrived at the same time as our Mains, which was a little disappointing but everything was still good. Had the mango lemonade which was amazing!

Great place for a burger, beer, and watch the game. Burger was delicious. I created my own angus beef burger. They got lots of options for every style of burger. Lots of different beers on tap too. I got the Brewery X Blonde. Ice cold and hit the spot. I came in early evening on Sunday. Not super crowded but looked like everyone was also enjoying the game. Nice chill place.

First time at Craft Burger -- and honestly, it was just okay. The burgers looked amazing in photos, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. I ordered the Garlic Burger, a Regular Cheeseburger, and the Garlic Parm Herb Tots. The burgers were a bit bland for my taste -- they could've used a touch more salt or sauce to bring them to life. The tots, however, were crispy and flavorful, definitely the highlight of the meal. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, and surprisingly, it wasn't busy at all. The server was nice and answered my questions about the veggie patty -- which, for anyone curious, is a mix of minced vegetables held together with rice flour. The interior has a cute brewery vibe, and I loved the '80s hits playing in the background -- nice touch! Overall, not a bad experience, but I was hoping for a bit more flavor to match the hype. Might give it another shot in the future.

Best burgers around. My favorite is their Garlic Burger - it's not for the faint hearted. Servers are too-notch. If you go at lunch you get a free side with your burger. Prices are reasonable.

Have been to this place several times and they never have disappointed. The food is always hot and delicious. They combine a few unique flavors that surprisingly taste great together. Place is always clean and service pleasant.

My go to meal here is specifically something light and good. Don't want anything too heavy, especially dancing on the dance floor, lol! The Irish Country Salad I posted in the pic has apples, goat cheese, candied walnuts, croutons, frisee, radicchio, drizzled with honey vinaigrette. I highly recommend this salad when coming here! Our server, Devin was pretty good despite the place was packed and he had alot of tables to wait on. My food came out pretty quick and he did check up on our table from time to time which is awesome. Never had an issue here service wise. Wednesday nights are always a fun night here with food, singing, and dancing!

Macallan's has the look of an Irish pub; dark wood, Celtic décor, the whole atmosphere is there…read more But if you're going to lean into Irish identity, the details matter, especially with Guinness. I've watched it poured straight into a regular pint glass with no 45-degree angle and no pause for the proper two-step pour. It comes out flat, with barely any creamy head, which completely changes the texture and experience. Guinness isn't just another draft beer; it needs to settle, and it should be served in a proper tulip or Guinness glass to get that classic presentation. The fix is simple: slow the pour down and train the staff on the traditional method. The pub has the vibe. Now it just needs to respect the pint.

The bartender acknowledged us right away and brought us menus. They had the hockey playoffs on the TV which was great cause we've been tuning in lately too! My fiancé decided on the house margarita and said it was delicious. Even though it was a "small" (they also come in "large") it was a very reasonably sized marg. She said it was pretty strong, so props for that haha. We stuck to the appetizer menu and went with a steak quesadilla and a shrimp ceviche. The Quesadilla was amazing: tons of queso, poblano chilis, and the steak was so juicy. You could really taste every ingredient in this thing. If we go back, I would definitely order it again. The ceviche was my fiancé's favorite, tasty shrimp, peppers, and avocado in a bomb orange/lime juice. I had to stop her from straight up slurping it up like a soup. She was a big fan, and she orders ceviche often. This was our first visit to Cha Cha's and we really enjoyed it. We've seen it a bunch of times while in downtown Brea, so we thought we'd give it a try, and I guess we've been missing out! The ambience was nice: not too loud, strong drinks, long menu, friendly staff, sports on the tv, and I was shocked when I saw the bill, very reasonably priced. We'll be back, for sure!

Came for a girls lunch date earlier to this weekend and this spot did not disappoint!…read more THE SERVICE: 5/5 - Quick, friendly, accommodating, and our waiter made a real effort to engage in conversation with us. The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina.
