We visited Pfeiffer last week. It's very comfortable. The service is great. The beer is great -- they just won 3 gold medals in the recent San Diego County Craft Brewing Competition, not bad for a newer brewery (they told us that the brewery has been around for 2 1/2 years). We tried Good On Ya, an IPA that is excellent, and brought home a 4-pack of the gold medal winning Likewise, which we will likely try tonight when our son stops by. One of the patrons chatted with us and made sure that I tasted a A Cloak for Every Occasion, an outstanding imperial stout (thanks for the surprise, Darren!). If Darren is representative of the regulars, this is a great place to hang out. read more

It's across the street from Brewery X.. so they get kuddos for being in an area that competes with them. Beer wise-- everyone was happy. She'll be right, a time to remember and sweater weather were the hits of the day. It was a slower Sunday when we came in-- and the music was so incredibly loud, we could barely hear each other across the table. The bartender was disinterested and not engaging. The place was clean and orderly so that's a plus. Just don't think we will be back bc the service and ambiance was just not jiving. But the beer selection is solid.. so definitely worth a try. read more

We usually go across the street to Brewery X but it is always so busy and you ca never find a parking. We passed by this brewery a couple of times and every time, the sign makes me want to stop. Since the Dodgers were playing and we wanted a fun night out, we decided that we would stop by. Parking is beautiful compared to across the street. we found a parking right away and the security also ensure that the other breweries don't use the parking which was great. As soon as we walked in, the guy taking our order was pretty cool and chatted with us a bit about the brewery. He offered his recommendations to us and we ended up getting a flight to try out a few of the beers. In my flight I got Pfeiffer's Famous, Raspberry Rickey, Highlights of Passion, This is How You Get Ants, Fashion Show at Lunch, Be A Cool Guy, and Pfeiffer's Obscura. My favorites were The Pfeiffer's Famous and This Is How You Get Ants which tasted like Yaeger. The brewery itself is pretty chill. They even have food trucks each night that rotate. The night we were there, they had pizza which was really good (Marguerite). We will def be back to try out some more beers and to enjoy watching our favorite team play some ball. read more

Stopped in here with my grandfather and cousin to check this place out. Apparently my grandfather (who grew up in Michigan) was familiar with this brewery which started in Detroit in 1889 - so it brought some nostalgia to him as he drank the Pfeiffer's Famous brew. I tried their stout which is on the menu as "A Thing Called Love". It had nice earthy notes and was a solid choice. They also have a seasonal non-alcoholic drink called Hops Water which is carbonated water infused with hops. I had a sample of this and noticed it also had some fragrant floral notes too. Currently there's no food available but the owner said that on certain days/evenings food trucks would be scheduled to be parked outside for patrons. He said they're also looking to expand the space of this venue to provide more food and seating/space options in the future. Space is cozy yet clean and bright. Service was quick and people are all friendly here. Located in a small strip block of businesses with about 20 or so parking spots. Across the street from Brewery X and down the street from Camelot Golfland. read more

Across from Brewery X, there's a hidden brewery spot! My boyfriend and I wanted to try it out to get a quick drink in before golfing nearby! I got the Bruges Cruise and it's the perfect mix of wheaty and fruity! There's a decent amount of seats and also some games set aside to use! You can also do samples to get the drink you want for sure! Plenty of parking compared to Brewery X. I suggest checking this place out if you're nearby or just need a chill hangout place with your friends! There's a food tent out front to grab a quick bite as well. read more

A group of our friends were trying to go to Brewery X but they were having a event and there was no parking in the lot. (Seriously...where do you park if it's full?!) Pfeiffer is across the street in the midst of businesses and randomness. Aka tons of parking for weekend drinking! :) The drink menu had fun names and I settled on a $18 ice pop flight. The drinks are tasty and I love the logo and decor. There are some snack options (gourmet pretzels) but no kitchen. They let us get pizza delivered which was nice. read more

My family and I got invited to go to this cool Brewery with our friends we consider family so we brought our kids since it's all ages. I didn't really feel up for going since haven't been feeling great, but we wanted to support the band and our friend so we went for a little while. It's in an industrial parking lot with other businesses surrounding. Really familiar with this area we used to live close to here years ago and my old dispensary used to be in the same area as this Brewery so was kind of cool to bring back memories. This band our friend works with A Static Lullaby was having their Vinyl release of their album here at the brewery, thought that was so awesome of them so of course had to support. They had food people outside where you can order smash burgers and fries. We ordered drinks first inside the employees were all so friendly with a smile, I love the drink names. I got this raspberry beer which was sour and tart didn't really like that it was a beautiful color though, don't really drink much so had a couple sips and didn't drink the rest. The place was packed to celebrate the bands Vinyl release, everyone had good vibes the music was awesome they played their album then some other good jams. We ordered food outside for us and the kids, we got two smash burgers, a hot dog and 3 fries which were so salty our mouth puckered no to those haha the burgers were good but not the best we ate outside then went inside to hang for a little longer. They have a lot of cool decor in the brewery, they have lots of tables and seats too which is really nice, I wanted to take so many photos but was way too busy to be able to. It was so busy it was hard to find a seat but some of their friends let us sit we didn't stay long but we had a great time. Thank you so much to our friend who invited us, and to the employees here for awesome service with a smile and really cool beers and atmosphere. Great beer selection, this is directly across the street from Brewery X and honestly better in beer quality in my opinion. Slightly small, but definitely packed for Friday night if you can't get into brewery X I suggest going here. It's located right across from Brewery X--which, let's be real, is always packed with no parking, no seating, and long lines for beer. This spot, on the other hand, is a total gem. There's plenty of parking, super comfy seating, and the beer? Absolutely delicious. The vibe here is unbeatable--chill, welcoming, and fun. They rotate food vendors, which keeps things fresh, and regularly host events like trivia nights and comedy shows. This is 100% my kind of brewery. Came here on a mini brewery tour since we hadn't been out in a bit. My girlfriend and I brought our dogs with us to check out this new small brewery. It's awesome! The branding was spot on I work in marketing and the first thing I notice in a business is if they have an identity of their own, and they do. The bartender was great, very nice and friendly she came to greet our dogs, the owner took some time to tell us the history of Pfeiffer brewing and how it used to be one of the largest beer companies in the country ages ago. He also came by to greet the pups as well. The decor is cool and the logo was drawn by the Walt Disney company which I found interesting. Anyways, the beer selection is good which is nice because I hate going somewhere and finding 10 of 12 beers are IPAs. I had the Chocolate berry buzz which was nice and smooth with a fruity hint. The Lavender B. Wit was what my partner ordered and it was nice and refreshing as well. The selection is great, pilsner, lager, stout, seltzer, etc. They have a good amount of parking, seating is plentiful and the food truck there at the time was good I approve. Would I come back. Yes, absolutely! While other breweries that started years ago are fading back with no identity or a stagnant beer selection Pfeiffer has a creative beer menu and rich history that leads to a good brand and identity. read more

Pfeiffer took over the dueling ducks location (right across the street from brewery X) and it's an upgrade from what it previously was (in my opinion) Huge fan of the retro nostalgia feel of this brewery! Stopped in during an event they had in their lot. The guy working seemed harried and a tad bothered. Maybe they are not used to large crowds, the place is kind of small. My husband got a few beers but frankly I was turned off by the attitude of the guy working there and decided not to spend my money there. I thought maybe I was being too critical but I gave it two attempts with negative demeanor both times. The people working the outside area very nice. I think it was just too busy inside for that guy. Dirtiest bathrooms I have seen in awhile. Black gross debris under the rim of the toilet bowl like it isn't cleaned well. I probably won't be back without good reason. 3 stars because I would rather see improvement and not deter others from their place because it seemed pretty popular. read more

We went here on a Sunday night and they had a public event for a regift exchange after the holidays. There were some neat exchanges. There were a lot of people who participated and it was festive! For drinks, I got two of the apple pie seltzers, which was smooth and tasty. My husband got multiple lite beers and he said it was refreshing. They also had a burger place set up in the front selling burgers. It was delicious! Despite it being busy (over 30 customers), the bartenders were happy to share information about the drinks and their recommendations. We were able to find seats for our small group too. I will definitely be going again with friends next time. And yes, they are dog friendly. There were 2 very cute dogs. read more

This is a fabulous brewing company! We walked in from having a drink at Brewery X. I prefer this place. It is much more my vibe. I really can't do places that pack in hundreds of people. This bar is quaint yet still lively. The bartender was very friendly, and my husband and I enjoyed having some seltzers in a cozy booth. The seltzer was fantastic! It wasn't overly sweet like other places. There was a taquero outside. Next time, we definitely need to also have some food with our drinks, but we already had dinner plans. This is my go to spot for a good beer now. It's across the street from Brewery X and is worth stopping in if you're in the area. When you first walk in, it's relaxed. The music is good, the people feel good, it's just overall a great way to spend your afternoon. The staff was super helpful in helping pick a beer that I'd actually like. Service was is always great. An amazing spot tucked away in Anaheim off the 91fwy that you should definitely know about! It's got a nostalgiac feel with some new beers that keep rotating and keeping me coming back. 100% worth checking out, especially one of their events. Came in randomly for a beer and ended up playing trivia for a few hours and sampling most the menu. Second stop on a night of brewery hopping. My wife and I split a flight of six beers. I was very happy with my selections. Their lager is one of the best I've ever tried. My wife and I recently visited and we had an awesome time. We love trying new breweries and Pfeiffer was on our list ever since they opened up. Pfeiffer is now one of our favorite places - the service, atmosphere, and beers were all amazing. We watched the Rams playoff game there and had a great time. There's no food there yet, but we were told that they're working on opening up a kitchen in the near future. We both got flights which allowed us to try all 12 of the beers on tap, but the owner - who is awesome by the way - gave us a pour of their coconut lime seltzer to try all 13 drinks on tap. My favorite was the Cold IPA, while my wife's was the Lavender Wit (which I also really liked). It was unique and tasty. I definitely recommend trying it if you haven't! This time (winter), they also have three dark beets (stout, chocolate berry stout - delicious, and a fruit cake Belgian quad that tasted really good when the taster warmed up).
