stopped by here for breakfast on a Monday morning and I was so impressed by the atmosphere, staff, and everything we ordered. Marco told us about all his recommendations and took great care of us, 10/10-amazing server! the rest of the staff was also super attentive and kind as well. The cafe the olla late was perfectly sweet and spiced and the conchas were soft and fresh. The guava French toast was AMAZING! The bread is light and fluffy and the guava syrup and strawberries add the perfect amount of sweetness. The whipped cream was super fresh as well. The chilaquiles were beautiful and delicious. They are able to split the plate half green and half red so you can try both. Both salsas were soo tasty! We added carne asada and they piled that on HIGH! Everything was so visually appealing and tasted even better. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning! read more

Had the opportunity to come with my family this morning to the new location and it was nothing short of chefs kiss! All the dishes had so much flavor! The omelette had chorizo, a blend of bell peppers and onions topped with crema avocado and salsa. The green salsa has a little kick but it was delicious. My niece got the OC Toast with Asada and they gave her the option of having sliced avocado or guacamole which I thought was nice. The asada added great flavor and was so tender. My Dad's been to the HB location and he was the one who suggested we go this morning and he tried the chilaquiles red/green with pork rib. The combined flavor with the pork rib and green chili was absolute fire!!!! Lastly the Iced Vanilla Latte was a perfect Cafecito! I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes. read more

Love love the new location. They did such an amazing job with the ambiance of the restaurant plenty of seating. Beautiful murals all over the restaurant and good vibes. We usually go to the HB location but we've been driving to the Cypress location while they remodel. This is our favorite breakfast place. The service is so amazing. If you haven't tried Mando's hash you have to! I don't see this dish getting a lot of hype, I get it with jack cheese instead of cotija with a side of avocado salsa. My husband gets the huevos divorciados. It's our Friday tradition. Our regular waitress knows our order and puts it in as soon as we walk through the doors. The ambiance is beautiful with all the hand painted murals. Everything on the menu is amazing! If you're really hungry, try the bulk Molcajete. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood, Los Bandoleros Cafe! :) Came for the soft opening, it's a breakfast/brunch affair, but I'm all for doing a small menu very well, which they have accomplished quite well. My son ordered the chorizo burrito, and I ordered the Bandit Burrito, both were perfectly cooked and seasoned, well prepared, fresh ingredients, and a good size (and good meat to potato ratio)! They offer them wet or dry, and their salsa, although not too spicy, is really tasty. The servers were friendly and knew their menu, my understanding is that this is their second or third location, so they have things down. The ambiance is clean and inviting, and the location has always been a favorite of mine - lots of windows that let in the natural light. Update: They're about two weeks out from getting their liquor license, so this will be a "mimosa brunch" affair. ;) In all we were really pleased with our meals, and we'll be back soon with the entire fam to try more of the menu. :) read more

SO FULL!!! The food is as shown and taste even better! I did order an iced vanilla coffee with cold foam was $1.00 extra but I did ask if they had milk alternative. They said oat milk and I said OK! I didn't know it was an additional $2.08. My iced vanilla latte was almost $10.00. The food was OUTSTANDING and the service was exceptional! It was a nice, clean and aesthetic looking place. Everyone was dressed in a beautiful uniforms and aprons. They all had smiles on their faces and they welcomed us several of times. Our waiter Marco was very attentive. The food was beyond my expectations. They received us with complimentary conchitas. These are the best chilaquiles I've ever tasted. I loved the fact that they served the beans and eggs on a separate plate because I got the option to split my large entree. It was so much food I had to take some to go. It's as authentic as it gets. Amazing new brunch spot in Cypress. We came here on a Saturday morning and waited 30 minutes for a table of 3. Bright, colorful, and spacious restaurant with amazing decor. Friendly staff and arrived to a table with conchas (Mexican sweet bread) which was a delightful surprise and delicious. They have a great selection of coffee/lattes and I started a Mexico can cafe de Ola that did not disappoint. I ordered my go to breakfast of avocado toast and a great choice with Bonilla bread, avocado, fried egg, radish, tomatoes, and sesame. My friend ordered chilaquiles that looked really good and she was happy with her choice. Overall, great place to visit, friendly service, and would definitely be back! read more

Absolutely amazing! I live close to the HB location and a friend was visiting just to try Bandoleros for brunch. We found that they were closed there temporarily and now at their Cypress location so I was like "It's not that far, we're going." They couldn't have picked a better location! And this new place has so much more space. Not that the HB location is small, it's cozy. But there is a lot more real estate in Cypress. Like I said in a previous review "They're already good and somehow they just keep getting better." The wall murals are beautiful. The food is always exquisite. I've worked my way through the menu and today I finally took on the 'final boss' the Bulk Molcajete. I had to take home leftovers. I didn't win, but I tried, and that's what's important. Right?! They welcome you with a dish full of pan dulce , the food is made fresh to order. Their Asada is angus and super flavorful and tender. It felt so warm, cozy and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The service was incredible. We were greeted and sat as soon as we walked in. They gave us water and mini conchitas while we looked at the menu, which was a really nice touch! Our main server Marco's, was very attentive, friendly and gave us great recommendations since it was our first time. The rest of the staff was extremely attentive and made sure we were taken care of as well. Service was 100/10. The food was amazing! We went with the recommendations that Marcos gave us which was the Chilaquiles and French toast. We got one order of red and green chilaquiles with carne asada and the guava french toast. I'm a longtime fan of the original location in HB, and this second spot does not disappoint! Not only is the decor stunning, but the food is delicious! My go to dishes are the short rib or chorizo chilaquiles, as well the guava french toast. Their iced bandit latte or iced cafe de olla are also must haves. Came here to try the Chilaquiles's presentation was a 10 out of 10 the Asada I had top with. It was 10 out of 10. But the overall was about a 6.5 out of 10 here's why they gave you the eggs and the beans on a separate plate. When the beans should've been the bottom layer and the fried egg should've been on top. Once you finish the toppings, cheese, avocado, meat, sour cream, and you get to the bottom of just the chips sauce. The sauce is good as nice spice but after a few bites, it starts to get too spicy and it starts to burn your pallet, but it's good with all the toppings and the mixture of everything together but once you get to the bottom layer to where it is just soggy sauced chips, it ain't any good no more I left about half of the portion of soggy chips. read more

Yes, the wait is long. But the food and coffee is worth it. We visited their other location in Huntington Beach, and love their food. I am loving the decor in the new location. My favorite items on the menu are the bandit burrito, and the atomic burrito. Husband loves the chilaquiles and the chorizo omelette. I tried the bandit latte today. And can't wait to have it again. It's a latte with an horchata twist. There's tons of parking. They are next door to hobby lobby so if you come any day other than Sunday you can walk around white you wait. read more

We have been waiting for this place to open, and it was worth the wait! This is in the old "Fish in a bottle" spot, in front of Hobby Lobby on Valley View. It's mostly a breakfast/brunch place. We arrived around 10:00am on a Friday, the 3rd day of opening, and there was a little wait, but not too bad. The interior is really nicely decorated with wall mural, natural wood and a calming green background. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, who I believe is the owner, and we received outstanding service from Danney. Everyone was so nice from hostess, to server, to food runner. They checked on us often. I had the Huevos Divorciados, my husband and our friend both had Mando's Hash. we all agree that our meals were superb. So good I can't wait to go back and try something else. They also offer latte's and Macha drinks which I hear are just as great as their food. They will be offering mimosas and margaritas soon as well. This place is going to be a go-to for breakfast for sure. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed! read more
