Yard House is a fun, cool place to enjoy sports or catch up with friends. The ambiance is fun with dim lighting and they even have a large screen for sports! Great place for a beer and sport in my opinion. For food options, that's where it gets a bit shaky. I've never loved Yard House food since it's on the more expensive end, and the quantity and flavor just don't match price. I'm never really full leaving this place. I typically stay away from the apps, but have settled on the tasty pork chop - which gives me a good balance of protein and veggies. Just note, if you're a big eater you won't be full. The portion looks decent, but I'm not sure what it is that just keeps me hungry here. The chop was perfectly cooked and I loved the glaze. The veggies are good, but nothing stellar. I also opted to try the bread pudding, which was not my favorite. There was something off putting about the flavor like if the bread was a bit old...? Service was great with the server doing frequent checks. Great service and they even have a mobile pad to quickly checkout!

I visited this restaurant with six relatives on a Saturday night and they seated us very quickly. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a typical pub/sports bar chain restaurant with dark wood decor. The food was pretty good. Nothing really stood out as particularly good or bad. Everything was pretty good.

Happy Hour! Monday to Friday; 3pm-6pm; 1/2 off select apps and pizza. Hope that was a good attention grabber. Came here without realizing there was happy hour so we loaded up on some appetizers! We definitely got more than we can eat but left overs are OK! Server was super friendly! Got sat down quick and food came out fast. Apps Calamari - nicely seasoned 9/10 Chicken Nachos - BIG portion size and loaded. 10/10 Boneless Wings - nothing too special; we got plain and lemon pepper. Tasted like wings 8/10 Entrees Spicy Beef Garlic Noodle - New item but SUPER SALTY. I see what they're trying to envision but less salt would be better and wait for your noodles to try up first before stir frying it. 6/10 Bone In Ribeye - cooked perfectly to medium and I enjoyed it with broccolini as a side. 10/10 Public parking available across the street. Valet is available next to the restaurant.

I visited this location 3 times before deciding on the review, I did not want to fall by one impression only and instead to be able to review consistency in quality, service and ambiance. Quality: Food quality is great, I tried different hamburgers every time and all of them are worth to try. They have special nachos that are BOMB! Service: They shown excellent customer service, today for example we went for 3rd time this never happened before but they took longer to take the order and the manager showed up apologizing about the oversight on there end as well as the assigned waiter I believe that level of professionalism and accountability is what restaurants need onsite; leaders that know how to deal with people and make the service a good experience for the customer. Great job on that! The whole experience deserves 10 starts because at end not matter how good the food is service also matters a LOT. Ambiance: Light is tune down kinda bar style which I believe is the purpose, I like it. I personally like the barrels with blue light very original. Highly recommend the dessert attached. The name was S'MORES" BROWNIE MELTDOWN, to DIE for! Heaven in earth for sure!

I've been able to come here for birthday celebrations and just to hang out, and every time the hospitality is awesome. The food is excellent and you really can't go wrong with anything you order. Hats off to all my peeps here at the Yard House in Brea, California - the whole team always takes great care of us. Stop by, you're going to love it, and Griffith is the best!

Popped in for lunch and had no problem getting seated. Our server was prompt and friendly. (Wish I could remember hour servers name) I got the chicken lettuce wraps and they were really tasty and the chicken was super juicy. It has small cubes of tofu combined with the chicken, green onions, wonton cup, sweet chili, spicy peanut vinaigrette.

Yard house was yummy! Came here on a Sunday evening and it was busy but the service was still quick. Lots of options on the menu, but I went with an appetizer as my meal- poke nachos. They were super yummy and decently sized/priced. The wonton chips were super tasty and the flavors were delicious! We parked across the street in the garage parking and walked over. The area is super cute and I'd definitely go back for a nice meal.

Loved this place! Locating parking for this place is very easy to find, if you don't locate street parking they have multiple parking structures in the area since it's a busy street-shopping center. A Friday afternoon got us about an hour wait to get seated but thankfully one of our group members found an online reservation that allowed us to arrive with our name already on the list. We waited a total of 20 min after arriving and got seated at a comfy booth. It was a big location with plenty of seating on the inside. The service was great, our server was very attentive and patient with our group as it was some of groups first visit (including mine)! I ordered the shrimp and chicken pad thai and it was so yummy. I'd definitely return to order something new as their menu has a huge variety!

Recently stopped by my old stomping ground, Yard House in Brea, for happy hour. HH runs Monday-Friday from 3-6 PM for drinks and appetizers. We arrived around 5:40 PM and it was already packed. Unfortunately, we weren't seated until 6:05 PM, so we missed the happy hour pricing. We stayed anyway and ordered my usual favorites: ahi poke nachos, sliders, and the onion ring tower. As always, the ahi poke nachos and sliders were absolutely delicious. I could eat those every day! We also tried the firecracker shrimp for the first time. It's served over crispy rice with plump shrimp and garnishes and looks great presentation-wise, but the flavor fell flat. The sauce definitely needs improvement. Parking includes valet for a fee and limited free self-parking. Service was excellent: friendly, fast, and our drinks were always refilled. After happy hour, the crowd eased up a bit, but both the bar and dining area stayed busy. Restrooms were clean and fully stocked. Our total came out to $74 for all the food plus two refillable drinks, without the happy hour discount. Would've been about 50% less if we'd been seated before 6 PM. Pro tip: get there early and beat the happy hour rush--- it's worth it ;)

First time here Tuesday for a relatives birthday. We came at for happy hour, which is until 6pm everyday and then starts again at 10pm. The service was great! We were greeted by a friendly warm welcoming host named Alexis who quickly sat us and was giving us her recommendations. We had the truffle mushroom pizza, cheese pizza, chicken nachos, wings, and chicken lettuce wraps. We all just opted to share the happy hour menu and it was about 7 of us. We all ate and were full and had leftovers to take home! The appetizers and pizza are definitely shareable for at least 5 or more depending on appetite. I was happy to see they had my favorite huckleberry beer and framboise beer. Will definitely be back for happy hour!

We came on a Saturday night for dinner and it was busy but we were able to get seated quickly. They have a menu outside which you can look at while you wait for your table. Once inside we ordered the poke nachos (my fav!), truffle mushroom pizza (a must try!), onion rings, fish and chips, and chicken tortilla soup. The poke nachos were delicious but the wonton chips tasted like they were fried in old oil because it had a bitter taste to them. The poke tasted fresh. The truffle mushroom pizza was delicious with a rich truffle flavor profile. It's really rich and best shared with some friends. The onion rings were crispy but again the oil I think they're using is old. The fish and chips were okay but the portions were nice with really big pieces of fish. The chicken tortilla soup was rich and creamy but too salty for my taste. Our server was amazing and constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Stopped by for dinner to watch the NCAA men's national championship before the LA Kings game. It was nice as we were seated rather quickly. Ordered the Queso Dip which came out quickly and was amazing. Comes with chips and warm tortillas. Perfect appetizer. We ordered the chicken bowl and a Pepper Jack Burger. Chicken bowl was excellent and had pepper flakes in it. Finished everything on the plate. My son loved the burger. The only downside, quite a few beers were out which was surprising. The staff was awesome especially with how crowded it was.

First time trying their happy hour items and I was pretty impressed. The appetizers on their happy hour menu is half off which is a great deal. I ordered their chicken nachos with fries instead of nachos, sliders, and chicken lettuce wrap. I thought the chicken with fries was really worth the price. The plate was huge and can 3 people. There was also a good amount of chicken. I also enjoyed the sliders because the meat was juicy and it also comes with a side of fries. You can also get truffle fries, sweet potatoes fries or onion rings for an additional $1-$2. The chicken lettuce wrap was my least favorite item that I ordered. I'm a huge fan of peanut sauce and saw that it came with peanut sauce but their peanut was way too salty for me and didn't have too much of a peanut taste. Service was great. The servers came to check up on us regularly asking if we need more water or sauce. There was also plenty of parking at 3PM on a Friday.

I've watched it poured straight into a regular pint glass with no 45-degree angle and no pause for the proper two-step pour. It comes out flat, with barely any creamy head, which completely changes the texture and experience. Guinness isn't just another draft beer; it needs to settle, and it should be served in a proper tulip or Guinness glass to get that classic presentation. The fix is simple: slow the pour down and train the staff on the traditional method. The pub has the vibe. Now it just needs to respect the pint.

When we arrived for our 6:00 PM reservation, the hostess let us know it would be about a 10-minute wait and while we understand that holidays can be busy, we had made a reservation specifically to avoid waiting. Shortly after, we and a few other parties were asked to sit at the bar with no additional context as to why we were waiting. We were offered complimentary champagne, which was a thoughtful gesture and definitely appreciated, but we were on a tight schedule as we were set to catch a movie afterward so we just wanted to be sat. Once we were finally seated, we overheard that someone had vomited and our table happened to be right next to that area, which was quite off-putting. During service, my friend and I also noticed the staff seemed very overwhelmed--servers were discussing table confusion and food routing confusion within earshot of our table, which made the experience feel a bit disorganized. This became especially apparent as we waited quite some time between getting our appetizer and our starter, which ended up reaching our table at the same time as our main course. For dessert, we ordered the butter cake, but the texture and flavor was more like cornbread so we put it off to the side. While we were waiting for our check, our server briefly placed another dessert at our table before realizing it belonged elsewhere and taking it away, which just added to the overall sense of disorganization. My friend and I truly don't mind spending $200+ for a great dining experience, but our total came to about $250 and, unfortunately, the food and service really didn't meet our expectations to the point where we ended up discarding most of our meal. For context, I've also visited the Tempo Cantina location across from the Brea Mall, and my friend has been to Tempo Geisha once previously. We decided to give it another try because the atmosphere and location are fantastic and very convenient for us. However, we were ultimately disappointed this time as well. I share this feedback in hopes it's helpful, not to bring the restaurant down. We genuinely love the concept and energy of the restaurant and hope to see improvements in service flow, communication, and food consistency in the future because we really would love to come back and have a great experience!
