Ranking a 4/5 based off alllllllll of the times I've gone to this Cheesecake Factory, but my experience tonight was 5/5! Our server, Matt G, was incredibly kind, very patient with my mother in helping her decide what to get and how to modify (who has food restrictions), and was so good at checking in, grabbing straw wrappers, and making sure our drinks were always full. Even observing the people he served around us, he was fantastic! Hope he gets the recognition he deserves. The food is always pretty good here, although the silverware and plates are always having issues with stains or marks on them. But still, this is a classic spot that I always return to. read more

Always enjoyable at Cheesecake Factory! Had a girls lunch and it was easy to get a table on a random Wednesday before the lunch rush Service was good. They checked on us pretty often. We had to get the TikTok viral Cajun Salmon with extra sauce. It was pretty good! Salmon was juicy maybe a little dry in certain areas but that extra sauce helped. Heaping of mashed potatoes and corn. I recommend. I've always gotten the Louisiana chicken with bow tie pasta but you know TikTok recommended angel pasta and it was still good but definitely needed more sauce on the side. The angel pasta absorbs the sauce so quickly. But love the crispy chicken and flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Chopped salad. Also another favorite. Definitely on the pricier side for the amount of food and quality of food that they offer.. for 1 bowl & 1 appetizer, it was $42 thankfully we had a gift card... Besides the pricing... the food is usually pretty enjoyable. I got their spicy tuna on crispy rice which was yummy and my friend ordered their rice bowl (which was basically a more expensive bowl from CHIPOTLE). I appreciate the VARIETY of different foods they offer here BUT it's soooooo much variety that the menu becomes extremely daunting and there's no pictures either on the menu, so you have to read a lot to actually have an idea of what each dish offers. There is a HUGE AMOUNT of indoor seating along with a few patio tables available and a bar top. They also have very nice indoor restrooms here. A very good CF experience. Although it was somewhat busy, our party was that as big as some other so I think we managed to sneak her way in and for a Sunday afternoon, it was a nice place for a late lunch early dinner. Our server was very friendly and kept things moving, which I know is difficult when you have several tables all indifferent states of their visit. I decided to try a couple of newer appetizers. One was the chicken and biscuits with the fried chicken strips and the other was the pork belly sliders. They were both very good, but I was especially impressed with the pork belly sliders as the pork belly was thin, but not too thin very crispy, and flavorful. My most recent experience is based on a Happy Hour visit at CF Brea Mall. I'm currently making the Happy Hour tour of local venues in Brea that have included nearby Pacific Catch, North Italia, CPK, Red Robin, and Lazy Dog. So first (in a while) impressions was that this national franchise is primarily known as a group gathering/ celebration venue. That being said, the bar area is relatively small to compared to the surrounding restaurants in the mall area but is it cozy, darken , and efficient. I found the staff helpful and knowledgeable about their HH offering, service at a good pace, and the food (HH Burger with add on fries) delicious and hearty along with my HH beer. One meal was kind of lukewarm but they took care of it and remade it immediately. It was ready back out in 7 minutes. They offered my friend a salad to hold her over until her entree was ready. I got the burger. Super on point with their "secret sauce". Fries were a little lukewarm but it's all good. Other friend got the Vodka pasta, Tex Mex Egg-rolls and Tuna. All our food was on point. Service was also perfect. Angel was on top of our table and we were never lacking anything. Drinks were always full, and our to go's were done well also. The check splitting and all that is always a pain to deal with. I understand why they only take 3 cards but the hostess should convey that as they seat the party. I know a lot of people come rolling in deep with 20 people plus so it's understandable they only take 3 cards. But overall great food and service. Upon arriving we were greeted and seated almost immediately on a Monday night. Our server was amazing, I wish I would've got her name but she was very attentive, answered our questions, gave recommendations and was quick to check in. My fiancé ordered the orange chicken plate and I had the carbonara pasta. It was so good, my fiance finished his entire plate and started picking at my pasta after he loved the taste I gave him. For dessert we ordered a Dulce de Leche caramel cheesecake with mocha and caramel capuchinos. Such a great combo, I recommend trying a nice cheesecake with a coffee or hot chocolate! There's plenty of seating, it's located in the brea mall shopping center but the restaurant is outside the mall space. I visited The Cheesecake Factory with my sister on Sunday, August 16 around 4:30 PM, and despite the restaurant being extremely busy, we were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. Let's start with parking...we circled the lot three times before finally finding an open spot! Seeing the large crowd gathered near the entrance made us nervous about how long we would have to wait. However, once we walked inside, we were seated in less than five minutes after putting our name down. A few minutes after being seated, we were brought water and bread while we looked over the menu. My sister and I decided to split the dinner portion of the Asian Chicken Salad and also try the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. While we waited for our food, our server brought us more bread. The sourdough was delicious, and the brown bread was soft and slightly sweet! When our food arrived, we immediately tried the crispy rice. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing part of the meal. The rice was not crispy at all and seemed like it had been sitting for a while. For $20.95, receiving only four small not so great quality pieces felt overpriced and not justified. The spicy mayo drizzle was delicious, though, and was the highlight of the dish. The Asian Chicken Salad, on the other hand, was excellent. The portion was huge, the flavor was amazing, and the texture was perfect. I especially enjoyed the combination of the fried vermicelli noodles and mandarin oranges, which added a great contrast of crunch and sweetness to the salad. About halfway through our meal, the servers transitioned for the dinner shift. Both servers came to our table to introduce us to our new server, which was appreciated. Our new server was very kind, attentive, and efficient, and the transition was completely seamless. By the end of the meal, we were far too full to order cheesecake which is almost ironic when dining at The Cheesecake Factory! My husband got a gift card from work for Christmas, so i decided to place an order for pick up. For clarity, my 5 stars is based on my interaction with the staff at the pick up register only (I didn't catch her name). Unfortunately i scratched the gift card pin area a little too hard lol so i could not place an online order. So I called (dread) and the girl on the phone told me I could place a phone order and pay at the store without the pin, so that's what I ended up doing. The parking lot here is beyond chaotic, and had we not had a gift card, I would not have bothered. All the construction going on at the mall makes this area very congested and dreadful. Once inside I was greeted by the girl who took my phone order. She was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. She helped me with the gift card payment and brought me my to go order right away. I only ordered an appetizer for myself - the meatball sliders - which were surprisingly tasty. Decent food, good service. I especially love their sangria the fruit is soaked in the wine, which makes it extra flavorful! The prices are pretty fair for the portions and dishes. Went here for my cousin's 21st birthday last Friday. A couple of things to highlight about the location there's a lot of construction happening at Brea mall so parking is pretty crazy. And there was a 2 hour wait which is out of the control of the staff. We also had a party of 26 people so there's that. Service was excellent for the size of the party we had multiple serving staff helping each other. Appetizers were good tried the avocado rolls at my end of the table. They were good. The consensus about the crab spread or dip was that it was not the best so I probably wouldn't recommend that appetizer. I didn't get a chance to get feedback from everybody else on the apps they ordered I know calamari was also delivered to the table. The bread was very warm on the second round I wish it was all just sourdough but that's just because it's my favorite. We were seated out on the back patio which does run against the street but it is elevated so there wasn't a lot of noise from the cars passing by conversations we're still able to be had without too much traffic noise. For the meals myself I ordered the orange chicken and decided to have it with the cauliflower. The one thing I would say is it wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be but it was still good meal a good amount of rice maybe a little more of the vegetables would have been nice but it was the perfect amount of hot and flavor the sauce was delicious. Again not as crispy as I thought it would be. Other guests were happy with their meals the salad portions are pretty big someone had the jambalaya and they thought it was okay. The classic burger ordered by my uncle was good. The cheesecake portions are huge definitely I would share them personally I was full and I didn't decide to get a piece myself. All in all great experience the staff took care of us with drinks and service was pretty quick once we were seated we weren't waiting long for meals or appetizers. That being said if you have a large party here you're going to be spending a lot of money. Of course you can budget if you're looking at costs but there were quite a few teenagers here and I'm not sure they have ever paid for a meal in their life. The bill total was over 1,300. With some people ordering cocktails some ordering appetizers that maths to over $50 per person plus your tip. I would definitely go back but wouldn't do it for a big large party like that. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but my experience at The Cheesecake Factory in Brea was extremely disappointing. My party of three arrived around 7:00 p.m. We checked in and waited about 30 minutes to be seated, which wasn't a problem. Once we were seated, we were given menus and told our server would be with us shortly. Our waiter was very nice and polite, but the service was unbelievably slow from start to finish. It took a very long time before anyone came to take our order. We waited forever just to receive the complimentary bread, and every part of our meal seemed delayed. We literally arrived while the sun was still out and didn't leave until it was dark because of how long everything took. Unfortunately, the worst part of the evening happened when our food was being brought to the table. Food was accidentally spilled all over me, leaving my clothes dirty and smelling like the food for the rest of the night. Accidents happen, and I understand that, but it's how the situation was handled that really disappointed me. About 15 minutes later, a manager finally came over and simply said something along the lines of, "Well, it looks like you cleaned yourself off." There was no sincere apology, no offer to replace or clean my meal, and no attempt to compensate us in any meaningful way. Not even an appetizer, dessert, or part of my meal was offered to make up for the inconvenience. Considering food had been spilled all over me, I expected much better customer service. The lack of urgency and concern from management made me feel like my experience didn't matter. While our waiter was friendly, the overall service and the way management handled the situation were unacceptable. Spending several hours waiting for our meal, only to end the night covered in spilled food and leaving without the issue being properly addressed, is not the experience anyone expects when dining here. You can be craving pretty much anything, and they have it lol I was craving a lot of things and this was the perfect spot! I ordered the beet and avocado salad for me and the hubby to share. One of the prettier Cheesecake locations, which high ceilings and glass paneling. Their bar/lounge area is bigger compared to most as well. Conveneintly located off the freeway too. Parking appears full on weekends and it shares the parking with BJ's but not difficult to find a spot. Our waitress was Dolores and she was incredible. Attentive, kind, personable. We saw a slice of cheesecake being delivered to table next to us and Dolores was kind enough to share the details of the cheesecake, from crust to toppings. Food portions are big. My family and I used to love The Cheesecake Factory, especially my wife and kids, but after our last experience, I honestly do not want to go back. My wife had just received a promotion that day and wanted to treat our family to lunch to celebrate. We arrived around 2 PM, and the restaurant was not very busy. We were seated right away, but after that, we were basically ignored. Our waitress did not bring us water, bread, or even come over to take our order. We sat there watching other tables being served their drinks and hot food while we were still waiting. The waitress looked in our direction several times but never approached our table. I tried to stay patient because my wife asked me not to make a scene, especially since it was supposed to be a happy day celebrating her promotion. But after waiting an extremely long time, I finally stood up and was ready to leave. My wife encouraged me to speak with someone first, so I went to the front and explained that we had been sitting there waiting without being served. Eventually, someone helped us and we finally received our food. I cannot say why we were treated differently, and I do not want to make assumptions. However, it was difficult not to feel singled out when our table was repeatedly overlooked while the tables around us were being attended to and served normally. I still do not understand what happened or why we were ignored for so long. What should have been a happy celebration for my wife's promotion turned into a very upsetting and disappointing experience. Now when my wife or kids ask if we can go to The Cheesecake Factory, I tell them no. I typically am not a fan of Cheesecake because it has such a big menu which means most of the food is mediocre, so I have not been here in a very long time, but I was very surprised on this visit. I ordered the Louisiana Chicken Pasta, Tomato Basil Pasta, and Avocado Eggrolls The Louisianan chicken pasta was cooked to perfection. The chicken came out hot and crispy, and the pasta sauce was hot and flavorful. No complaints on this dish, I would highly recommend. The Tomato basil pasta was very good, the entire dish came out hot and had a ton of flavor. Both pasta dishes were a nice size, enough to give you lunch for the next day. The avocado Eggrolls were good, and the sauce provided was also good; however, the pair together seemed kinda off, the flavors didn't mix well for me. But I would still recommend this dish because the egg rolls by themselves were good. Overall, I haven't been the Cheesecake Factory in a while, but if the food is like this consistently then I would highly recommend to come here. Keep in mind this place is on the pricey side. We came for a late dinner (after 8:30pm) so the restaurant wasn't crowded at all and seated within 5 minutes of giving our name to the hostess... just enough time to look at the cheesecakes display. Liz was our server tonight. She asked if we've been there before and of course our answer was a big YES!!! She took our drinks order and brought us hot Cheesecake Factory brown bread and sourdough bread along with butter. We scarfed that down so we asked for more when we ordered appetizers (truffle fries and hot crab dip served with slices of toasted bread) and our meals (farfalle chicken pasta and spaghetti with meatballs). The warm bread was delicious as always, the fries were crispy and the crab dip was tasty. Our meals were good except I had to send mine back because it had some mushroom pieces (which I told the waitress I was allergic to) in my pasta dish. She immediately took it away and offered me a salad to tide me over while a new dish was being made. That was a nice gesture. She brought me my new farfalle chicken pasta dish which she told me the manager made himself to ensure there were no mushrooms - THANK YOU to the manager because it was delicous!!! We didn't get dessert this time since we were stuffed but our eyes sure got big looking at the dessert case of cheesecakes. We had a very nice dining experience. The food was delicious! We come to this location in Brea because the food is consistently good, the service and proximity. The parking is a little bit of a challenge right now since it shares the parking lot with another restaurant and the Brea Mall, which has construction blocking off a big chunk of the parking lot. I was given a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory so I decided to order lunch and dinner from their app and yes I used their curbside service. I can't speak on the ambiance of the restaurant because I had a pickup order. I ordered the Eggroll Sampler which had the following spring rolls: avocado, cheeseburger, TexMex, and chicken taquitos. I also the fried chicken sandwiches. Every dish was packed nicely in a container and food was fresh and hot. When I got home, I really enjoyed the chicken and biscuits. The egg rolls were okay. My favorite was the avocado spring rolls. The star of the show was their 4 dipping sauces. The sauces really elevated the flavor. I didn't order any cheesecake this time. The parking was a bit tight. Brea Mall is under construction so the parking is limited right now. I will definitely order curbside again. read more

Went at Christmas time and sat at the bar. The drink I had was sooo good! I love mescal the smokier the better and the drink was as big as two drinks! Bartender recommended and I can't remember the name and paid with a gift card so didn't keep the receipt! Can't wait to go back hopefully the bar tender will recognize! It was so good! read more

Come here for birthday and early Father's Day celebration. It's a Tuesday night, (late afternoon), no line never seated right away. Our server is top notch, I think his name is Dominic. Young man. Every part of service, suggestion, timing, and communication were thoughtful and chilled. No fire too talking but just thoughtful to know how to give us the best experience. I asked for more butter for our bread, he brought us two more. He knows when to time of opportunity to take order for our dessert, and knows when to bring things out so our table is not overwhelmed with too many plates. He congratulated my daughter's birthday multiple times. And yes, the food was so good. Jambalaya ball (for the Bites) was super tasty. Asian nacho was also delicious. Went for breakfast this morning and it was ok. I ordered a Latte Cafe, hot and they served it in a glass beverage cup, no!!! It should be in a mug. Same with my husband's hot chocolate. I ordered eggs, potatoes, toast and chicken sausage. I asked for any jelly but strawberry and, of course, they only have strawberry. So if you can't eat strawberries you get no jelly.
