Had such a wonderful lunch experience at North Italia in Brea! The atmosphere was modern, cozy, and perfect for catching up with friends. We ordered the Roasted Salmon with seasonal vegetables and the Chicken Parmesan, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the seasonal vegetables were fresh and well-seasoned. The Chicken Parmesan was crispy, cheesy, and paired perfectly with the pasta. Everything was beautifully presented, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Highly recommend this place if you're in Brea !!

A brand-new place has opened at the Brea Mall, called North Italia. It is actually outside, and the best way to get there is to find the Lululemon store; it is right across from it. Plenty of people were dining here for lunch so we had to put our name down and wait about 15 minutes. The food came out fresh, our server was nice and we loved the pasta. The inside of this place feels open and large with so much seating all around. Our appetizer was the burrata with heirloom tomatoes, which tasted so delicious. Salad-wise we had the chicken and beet salad and the beets were fun and the salad overall was refreshing. Squid ink was shared between us as our main dish and it was good. I think between the two people this was a great amount for us. Can't wait to come back and try more things.

North Italia has recently opened at Brea Mall. I've came to this place for a first time. It was pretty busy with a 25-30 wait, I opted for the bar seating. I'm always a bar kinda guy. For drink... I must have that limoncello. The best tasty drink you can get. Presentation is super stunning. Feeling real fancy. And tasty. The next item of choice....... Italian meatballs.... cuz it's a very tasty small plate item.... made fresh.... texture were spot on..... it's totally legit. Ok... time for the big one... I ended up doing 2 visits, cuz I wanted to try more items on menu, especially the lasanga which it's super popular at North Italia. Those things sell out very quick. During my visit, I opted for this one fresh pasta dish... bolognese. Presentation is nice... made fresh, like they said. Taste real good. Highly recommended. My second visit... I got very lucky that day... Was able to get the lasagna. Perfect!!!! Even the food runner told me I was very lucky to get this. It's made fresh... well duh!! Very stunning.... tasty... you named it.... everything about the lasagna is good... but since they sell real quick... alot of customers order this.... if you happen to get the lasagna, you're very lucky... if not, then better luck next time. Dessert.... I got the real stuff right there.... affogato.... which is vanilla gelato and coffee with real coffee beans... nice!!!! It was heavenly good!!! So real... i mean really!!! Service.... bartenders are sooo amazing!!! Great people to serve the customers. Overall.... 5 stars!!!!

Visited on a Wednesday at 545 and the place was packed! Very lively. We waited 30 minutes for a table and our server was very attentive the whole visit. Service was 10/10 Restaurant vibe 10/10 Food... not impressed. Very mediocre and overpriced. The chicken parm was dry with little flavor. I had to ask for a side or marinara to help get it down. 4/10 The artichoke was flavorful but had little to no edible parts. 5/10 The kids chicken Alfredo was probably the tastiest. 7/19 The steak with arugula was good not Great 6/10 I'm super bummed because this is close to home. But the food was not great.

I like North Italia. This location at the Brea mall opened a few weeks ago. It has a spacious interior and a large covered patio area. TVs over the indoor/outdoor bar to watch a game. It's a great place for groups. My fam loves their pastas but we tried out their brunch stuff on this visit. I got the chicken parm sandwich. I liked the chicken and prosciutto but the marinara sauce had a light sweetness to it that I didn't really care for. My fam liked the dishes though. And the grilled cheese was a hit with the kids. Service was good. Friendly staff. However they're still pretty new and have some kinks to work out. We tried to make a reservation ahead of time but they said we could only do that with a manager who never got back to us. We showed up early in person to try to get a table and they took a while to seat us even though we were one of the first groups. And it was not like they were at full capacity even when we left. Hopefully they can smooth things out.

We visited North Italia today with a large party, and if you're unable to get a reservation, be prepared for a very long wait. We waited a little over two hours, which we were okay with, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. They seemed pretty understaffed during our visit. It took quite a while for our server to reach our table with water, and at one point our table started coughing from some powder on one of the dishes. It was hard to get the waitress's attention, which made the moment a bit uncomfortable. The food itself was delicious, but they were out of a few items on the menu. Since they're newly opened, I understand they're still working through some operational challenges. Overall, despite the wait and the staffing issues, I would still recommend North Italia. The food is genuinely tasty, and once they smooth out the service side, it has the potential to be a great spot.

I ate a very late dinner here with a friend and it was packed! For good reason, though, since the food was delicious and the place itself was nice and chic. We got the Italian Meatballs, which was perfectly seasoned and flavorful! The Ricotta Cavatelli had a generous serving of both crab and shrimp, and the pasta was cooked to just the right firmness. I had a wonderful dinner experience here and am so excited that the food scene at brea mall is growing!

We loved the other location, and happen to live in this new locations area, so of course we had to check it out! Briana was our server, she was super sweet and had good recommendations for us to try. We ordered White truffle bread 7/10 Really good, wish it were a little more crunchy though, it was so good dipping into the pasta sauces Spicy Rigatoni Vodka 9/10 Braised short rib 7/10 a little bit too sweet for me but overall good if you like a lemon taste The Pig (Pizza) 9/10 A really great decorated restaurant, we came at night time so the dim lights were a huge vibe. Day time I could imagine it being even better, I'll have to come back and check that out with some drinks!

My newest favorite spot in Brea! Overview: Food is great and well priced. Service is good and servers are attentive to the drinks on our table. I give this place 4 stars only because the none of the workers know the cost of the spirits. The Good: - Food Quality 5/5 - Cocktails 4/5 - Service and Food 5/5 - Menu: Small and well put together. The Bad: - Long wait times - They run out of ingredients due to popularity. Personal Opinions: - Great for date nights, lunch dates, business meetings, and simple family gatherings. - Going to try the open bar soon and if it's a 5/5 I'll update my review as a 5 star.

Took my mom here for lunch and all the food was superb and delicious. However only take back is the shrimp scampi was either forgot about it or got sent to wrong table but it came out after we finished the main entrees. Thats the only take back the waitress was nice about it. The banana butter cake and coffee to top it off was the highlight.

Came here for dinner to this brand new location. I got the pina no nada and it was very refreshing. We ordered the yellowtail dish as appetizer. So delicious 10/10 Food: RICOTTA CAVATELLI. The pasta was well made and flavorful. 10/0 STROZZAPRETI . The chicken was tender but it was too soft for my taste. It was kind of like a chicken stew. 6/10 Side dishes: asparagus was 10:10 FONTINA POLENTA and corn 5/10 I didn't like the texture. We shared a tiramisu for dessert and it was delicious. Took a little while to get our food since it was a best night. Server was attentive and friendly. Overall the meal was delicious but I would skip the chicken dish and the corn dish next time.

I can't believe it took me this long to go to a north Italia, not only is the service so friendly, the food is actually so so good. I tried the chefs board, the Funghi pizza bomba style, the Bolognese, and ended the meal with the salted caramel budino. My favorite bites were the funky pizza, it has so much flavor. The chefs board is the perfect concoction of salty and sweet flavors and crunchy and soft textures, and it's great to pair with the crust of your pizza. I will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu!

New North Italia is now open at the Brea Mall. I took my family here for Mother's Day, so the place was packed, but overall they handled the crowd really well. We made a reservation through OpenTable and got seated without much issue. Nick was our server and he was great the whole time. You could tell he was working hard and juggling a lot of tables, but he stayed attentive, checked in often, and kept things moving. Definitely earned his tip. We started with the shrimp scampi appetizer, which disappeared pretty quickly at the table. Ordered The Pig pizza, the bolognese, and another pasta dish I can't remember the name of, but honestly everything was delicious. The pizza had a really nice crust and good flavor from the meats, and the bolognese was rich and comforting. For being brand new and dealing with a busy holiday crowd, the experience was smooth and the food came out consistently good. Nice addition to the Brea Mall area and definitely a place we'd come back to.

The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina. My omelette was ok, it had way too much peppers and I didn't see the cheese , it comes with a side so I went with country potato with onions and bell peppers. I only wish that it included some kind of toast. My son's pancakes were ok, they are only topped with blueberries we thought the blueberries were going to be inside the batter or inside the pancake. He had to add a lot of syrup to make them soft. The one thing I will say is that the house coffee is very good. It's Lavazza coffee which is really good. She said it was pretty strong, so props for that haha. We stuck to the appetizer menu and went with a steak quesadilla and a shrimp ceviche. The Quesadilla was amazing: tons of queso, poblano chilis, and the steak was so juicy. You could really taste every ingredient in this thing. If we go back, I would definitely order it again. The ceviche was my fiancé's favorite, tasty shrimp, peppers, and avocado in a bomb orange/lime juice. I had to stop her from straight up slurping it up like a soup. We truly honestly regret selecting this restaurant to host such "intimate" dinner to say the least. The "' private rooms " aren't even private ... we were sat infront of a big party which I think they were hosting a mad hatter event at the time and they kept the curtains wide open for many passing customers to pry at us and it was a very uncomfortable ( found out that the bathrooms are right next door at that ) experience . I was under the impression that the word private ment curtains will be closed private . I'm not sure if it's because the party was " too small " to even treat it as a courtesy event but omg ? Ambiance was not fit for us & There's truly no excuse for it . We even requested to have curtains closed but he just undid the rope ever so slightly still having us in full display . We had this server which I unfortunately didn't get her name all I could remember was her high slicked bun and her loud practically screaming voice . It was all our first time here so we were looking at the menu to figure out what we'd like to order but this lady kept rushing us not allowing the table to coordinate our orders for a smooth process I mean it's 10 of us. So that was just a mess to order. We all put in our orders for drinks first to allow us to look at the menu since she kept being pushy like she didn't even get 2 of our guests drink order in either ?? So we had to wait until she came back which took a very long time .... Once some drinks came back to us one of the servers SPILLED some the of the drink on one of our guests dress ! And all over the table . It's truly so embarrassing to experience this in general as a person and a customer let alone someone that is celebrating a special event. The food and drink were decent but I truthfully think the experience overshadowed the actual enjoyment of the food and drinks. Once we had our food the waitress popped in at very long sparse times to yell out if we were okay in the middle of our dinner which honestly most of us grew irritated by it because there's absolutely no need to scream at us while we are eating ....our guest honestly felt uncomfortable to order because there was already that drink mishap and just the poor service overall . There was a point where a server came in to set down the food and practically tossed it on the table& made a comment about the amount of food one of our guest had ordered ? Like are we missing proper serving etiquette at this point ? If I could have a do over I wouldn't select this place for events like that . Maybe a casual dinner but if that was the case maybe I should've just opt for chilis for better service honestly because this wasn't it . We had brought a small cake to cut and she would come in at times just to yell out " cmon now everyone it's a celebration " like please read the room. If you're like me trying to host a small dinner for a special celebration don't do it here. If the automated gratuity wasn't in place I don't even think a tip was worth it.
