Matcha
Sam W.

I absolutely love this place! It's a special thing when anything you get is top notch. I started off with an iced americano (delicious) and Iced Qahwah Latte (HIGHLY suggest this one, it's unique and not too sweet but delicious). I then tried a couple of their matches (they use very high quality matcha, you can tell!). I usually go for a normal matcha latte, but I tried some of their specialty matchas and I was SO happy I did. They have some really great flavors that complement the matcha really well. And also very knowledgeable baristas if you don't know what you want to try! I highly suggest trying their signature menu items, they have wonderful house made syrups and sauces that are amazing (Pistacio sauce, Qahwah syrup)! Their treats are also delicious, I tried the banana pudding and it was great! (Also I'm a sucker for cute cups) I am a person that will drive an hour for good coffee/matcha and this is definitely worth the trip :)

I had a wonderful experience at Qahwetna coffee. I stopped by here cause i was carving a matcha and luckily they were open late. It was a little hard to find because it's under an apartment complex and they had no sign out front. Parking is inside a structure but there's only about 3 spots for retail space parking. Inside was very clean and new. The bathroom was also really nice. They offered several tables and charging stations as well. I ordered a qawah matcha latte which has a date syrup. It was a unique flavor overall that i really did enjoy. It wasn't super sweet and the matcha was good quality. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

It's always such a challenge finding a nice place to get work done that doesn't close in the afternoon. I thought I knew every place in the area that fit the bill, but I happened to come across this place via Yelp that I had never seen before. Looks like it just opened within the past couple months. PARKING: Parking is in the Zia parking structure next to the shop, on Lincoln Ave where it says retail and visitor parking. There's 2-hour retail parking - not a ton of spots but I haven't run into a problem finding parking yet. On their Instagram they have instructions for if the structure retail parking is full: "Use code 647850 at the gate and park on the 5th and 6th floor (Guest Parking). Take the elevator back down to the retail parking area to reach Qahwah Coffee House. To return to your car, take Elevator N°3 (located on the right when facing the gate) and enter the code: 647850#" WHAT I'VE ORDERED: Iced qahwah latte Iced qahwah matcha lattes THE DRINKS: Perfect. The date syrup they use is not overpowering, and balances perfectly with both the espresso and the matcha. The espresso was on point. But my star was the matcha.. I mean look at that color... dare I say one of my fave matchas I've had lately!! It was a bit of a sweeter matcha latte than some places, but that's how I like it. I also tried the pistachio cream cheesecake. It was pretty good, though just a little sweet. SERVICE: Amazing!!! Each time I've come here they've been very happy to answer my questions and explain menu items. VIBES: Amazing for getting work done. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: At almost every seat!! * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, clean * WATER: You can ask for free water * VOLUME: Not too loud * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Good amount of seats. My only critique would be that the communal table is a little too close to the bench seating so was hard to slide in and out especially if others are sitting with you. * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: I never say this lightly: I think this is my favorite coffee shop right now. It really hits all of my checklist - outlets, open late, and good drinks particularly. I was tempted to gatekeep but had to support and would love to see them grow!!

First time coming here. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions. Ordered sand coffee just to see how it was done. It was like a hot of expresso (not a lot of coffee).

I have to say, this is easily one of the cutest coffee shops I've been to. Qahwah House Coffee has such a bright, welcoming vibe with tons of natural lighting and plenty of outlets, perfect if you're looking for a spot to get some work done or just relax for a bit. I ordered the Qahwah latte and the pistachio milk cake, and both were amazing. The latte had a really nice balance of coffee and sweetness, flavorful without being overpowering. And the pistachio milk cake? Out of this world. You can actually taste the pistachio in every bite, which is spectacular. Overall, such a great place to hang out, work, or catch up with someone. Definitely coming back

I liked the ambiance -- it felt cozy and private with nice lighting. The coffee was just okay for me, but I'm probably just used to a stronger espresso taste. We went at night about an hour before closing, and while the staff was cleaning up, the strong bleach smell from mopping and wiping tables was a bit overwhelming with customers still around.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious desserts, and amazing coffee! We tried the Turkish coffee, lattes, baklava, and desserts, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The presentation was elegant, the café was very clean and relaxing, and the staff was kind and welcoming. A perfect place to enjoy coffee and spend quality time with family and friends. Highly recommend Qahwah House!

On a lazy morning, I had some time to come down with my little ones and enjoy a cup of coffee. I was recommended the Qahwah Turkish latte, and it was really good. I could definitely taste the coffee grounds -- it had a strong, bold flavor (a little extra coffee, which I actually liked). The view really sets the mood in the morning -- calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff was upbeat and friendly, which made the whole experience even better and easier with kids. I'll definitely be back for another slow morning here.

Olivia made this experience! She's incredibly kind and gave great recommendations. I tried the pistachio coffee and the Quhwah coffee, both were so good. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

First impressions are always important and the warm welcome I received from the baristas in Anaheim made my morning. They answered all of my curious questions and were very helpful. My iced coffee was delicious and the pastry was a superb collab. A great space to have a solo cup or with friends. Looking forward to seeing these fresh faces again and trying something new! Thank you from Dexter & I

The coffee is delicious, authentic and beautifully crafted. The Qahwah Latte has notes of cardamom and dates that accent the drink deliciously! The coffee shop is beautifully designed with an industrial aesthetic meets nature. The service is great! The barista was very knowledgeable of the coffee and different lattes.

I saw they serve little pastries and cake jars and banana pudding! All very cute and looks tasty. What drew me in was finally seeing tables and chairs outside so I knew they were open for business ! Came in today Qahwah Matcha Latte hot and I did mention I like my drinks on the sweeter side so they did accommodate that. Their service was great and answered any questions and gave recommendations. The Inside is beautiful, it looks like the perfect place to catch up with friends or study. It's cozy vibe with a clean aesthetic. I feel the only thing holding me back from 5 stars is their pricing it's pretty high for what I'm used to paying at other coffee shops. And I will say I do think it's because they use very high quality ingredients. I wanted to try desserts but I felt I could t justify paying another $7-9 for a very small dessert on top of an expensive drink that was in a small cup. Running into someone outside they also felt it was expensive. Not sure if it's just us who thinks that on the prices but I'd still recommend it to people to try for themselves(: at the end of the day it's just my honest opinion!

Great vibe

Crystal and Olivia were so welcoming and very attentive They are awesome! This business is technically under its soft opening and im so excited this opened up near me. Coffee was great, the vibe is perfect and the treats were amazing! Bonus points that its open late too. Definitely coming back!

The staff are friendly and nice. They'll ask for your name and they'll call it out when your order is ready. They're pretty quick getting your drinks. They have a merch store connected. They typically have collaborations and themed drinks/snacks so it's good to keep track of the events. Also they have the fancy toilets if you're curious to try one. I tried the Warrior of Light drink. It was pretty tasty and light. Not too sweet which is usually most drinks. I got just enough marshmallow flavoring. The Korpokkur Kid was fairly decent. The oreo flavors is the primary flavor which if you really like that then great. I thought the puddingway flan was just okay but my friends like it. Overall, you're not coming here for high quality food/drinks but it's a fun place to hangout. And occasionally you'll find something nice. There is a liquid disposal bin in case you're not feeling your drink. It's definitely worth a visit to try out!

Having a reservation definitely helped us when going in, but it wasn't insanely busy, probably could have walked in. The arrangement to get everyone who had reservations was pretty smooth and straight forward and staff were super on top of everything. Inside the venue is nice! I was hoping for a little more with the FFXIV decor, but we still enjoyed our time nonetheless. The growing light beverage was probably my favorite, a nice light drink that wasn't too sweet! My husband got the Such Deveststion which he enjoyed. The flan was unfortunately too sweet for us.

Vaulted ceilings, green tiles, and exposed wood beams make it really pleasing to the eye. Parking is available in the Hub garage nearby, but it's limited. There's plenty of room inside to study, work, or talk with friends. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha wasn't my favorite. I'm a matcha lover, and this one tasted more like the kind you'd find at Costco rather than ceremonial grade. I also noticed they keep it in a large tub. The color was light, and it was very sweet, almost like the powder already had sugar added. I'd still come back to try their coffee, and I'd love to try the matcha again if they decide to upgrade it.

However, today's visit felt different. We ordered our usual strawberry coffee drinks but they weren't pink. When I asked the barista about it she said the syrup has changed. The drinks barely tasted like strawberry and we were disappointed. I immediately regretted upgrading my size to 20oz too. SO I looked up other recent yelp reviews, and I saw that someone posted a picture of their drink 17 hours ago and it was still pink. That makes me question what happened to our drinks.

I decided to try the pandan latte and it was just as she described: more coffee flavor, subtle on the pandan and not too sweet. I tried it and although the pandan flavor could be a bit more strong, I actually really liked it. You can taste the pandan but it's very subtle. I know that pandan itself has a very subtle aroma. Even when you have it in Asian desserts, its flavor is usually very faint unless it's the artificial stuff. I would order it again but maybe ask for a little more of the pandan syrup. My husband ordered the salted caramel latte and I tried some of it. It was so good! He really liked it too. I liked the foam with the salted mocha (?) powder stuff on top... it was so good.
