I didn't realize this coffee shop was in a hotel but that did not disappoint from the experience. Once you pull up, you can value your vehicle. Let him know you're going in for some coffee and it's free for the first two hours. If they know you're here for common grounds market Café then they'll pull your car a little closer so you're able to get out a lot quicker as compared to the guest. They'll ask if you're staying for a bit hanging out in the lounge getting something to eat and relaxing. Upon walking into the hotel, it is very nice clean and presentable. The same with the market that is facing the left of the entryway. There's lots of tables and various seating near the window where you can catch lots of sunshine. I got an iced caramel macchiato, and it was absolutely delicious. I also tried the breakfast burrito with bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese, which came recommended by a female Bautista. She said it was her favorite. I disagree. It was loaded with egg, but lacked in flavor , it lacked sausage and bacon, but the salsa on the side was on point. There are restrooms that are very clean and it was an overall nice stop at this café ! read more

so let me start by saying I am a local so I wasn't aware this coffee shop is located in the lobby of a Hilton hotel. I ordered the brown sugar espresso and it was very good. I will definitely be coming back here. Also sidenote I left my wallet here and didn't realize it until later that night I came back the next day almost 24 hours later and the employees in the lobby of the Hilton still had it and I was given back my wallet so that alone makes A five star experience would definitely recommend this place to locals and travelers alike. read more

I absolutely love this place! Parking was hard as I was not staying in the hotel, but security helped me out. I got a strawberry matcha (i don't think it's on the menu) and a turkey sandwich. The matcha was amazing and not clumpy like some other coffee shops. Claudia and Janet helped me and they were the absolute sweetest. They customized my drink to my liking and I talked with them for a little bit. i definitely recommend trying if you are in the area! read more

I've come to this place a couple times since I've started classes nearby, sufficed to say this is a great place to get a quick bite and a coffee pick-me-up. As listed on Yelp, this place touts gourmet coffee shop and in reality it is a mediocre coffee station located in the Hilton. The pastries are not fresh (my chocolate croissant was only edible because it was reheated but was not at all flakey) and the coffee and chai were not drinkable. Both were room temperature at best, the coffee was not the right order so they remade it but was still not the right order. We paid nearly $16 and literally left the coffee there because it was so bad. This neighborhood is a good food desert. read more

We are ending our 3 day long Disney trip at this Hilton and we are so exhausted. I was actually thinking about how I probably shouldnt buy anything after this expensive trip, but I was dying for a coffee and my daughter wanted a snack. The sweet girl at the counter asked our occasion and when I told her it was for my daughter's birthday, she gave us both the drink and food for free. Absolutely horrendous experience - just wanted a latte and they kept asking whether I wanted flavoring. Then they made a mocha, then when making my latte made it a 16oz when I wanted a 12oz. Then the temperature was warm at most - I ended up walking away from the coffee because it was so disgusting. Totally shocked - never experienced anything like it. read more

My strawberry cream cheese danish was to die for! I also got a soy vanilla latter and it was even better than Starbucks! Im so glad I stopped here on my way to Disneyland! I stayed for 3 days at the Hilton Gardens and had a great, memorable customer experience, while getting my morning coffee and food at Common Grounds. Brandon especially stood out, because he was engaged in my experience and my stay, remembered details about my trip, and made my stay feel that much more welcoming! He had a smile on his face throughout the experience and really have to commend him for it. Exemplary! read more

okay actually super impressed with this place. it's a small place located right off the 5 when you exit harbor blvd. they had fun holiday options and honestly a really wide selection of food. Lexi and Claudia helped me out after I told them I really like fruity cofree. it wasn't on the menu but they made me a stawberry latte. it was so good! top quality service! read more

Overall, it is an alternative to the coffee shop in the medical building in the same plaza. Parking was a bit packed near the stores, of course. There were a few tables on the inside to enjoy drinks but other than that, not much seating around since the outdoor tables and chairs were already locked up.

A mere 1.3 miles away, I find this eight year old coffee shop that has its name origins from the German word for bread. Evidently, they have a plethora of baked foods mainly consisting of flour, water and often yeast displayed in full display next to the counter. I asked one of the staff if the shop makes their own bread and she said a local artisan bakery supplies them. They look amazing and they even have gluten-free options! This is a family-owned business that provides a more than suitable area for working on your laptop with WiFi access, or simply enjoying your favorite hot or cold caffeinated beverage, oh, and I must mention that they have premium blends as well for the coffee aficionado! Spacious indoor area that doesn't feel cramped and the exposed ceiling vents, the jazzy beats that is playing at a perfect volume and plenty of potted plants give it a balanced chill industrial vibe. There are tables outside too that's perfect for early morning or late afternoon when it's not too hot. I ordered the Vanilla Latte hot and asked that they fill up my insulated mug instead of the cardboard cup. Even with the steady stream of patrons, I received my expertly prepared brew by their hirsute barista, who gave me "beard envy" (I can only sport a goatee) :D The crew are friendly, conversing with the regulars. I can tell they enjoy working here! I don't come to Orange very often but would definitely grab coffee here again if I'm in the area and would highly recommend this place. This place is doing something right and by mere observation, I can tell they will continue to do so for years to come! Kudos!
