The brekky potato lacked crisp and had more of an oily taste like it wasn't a hot enough pan used. The blueberry pancakes seem ok? Lacked the fluffiness and softness. The lemon custard was sweeter than expected but mix with the raspberry sauce provided that acidity needed to break up the sweetness. $53 meal didn't feel worth it. In a word underwhelming. Our group ordered the bestie potato bites which were surprisingly bland, I wish they fluffed up the potato or did something other than halve the potato and layer toppings on it, it was basically a baked potato and not what we expected. One friend ordered the bam bam burrito, a little undersalted but overall decent flavor, for the price she wouldn't order it again. My other friend ordered the ribeye and eggs and she left half her plate, the steak was the thinnest cut, more reminiscent of asada and while she ordered it medium it was very much well done, besides that the flavor didn't make up for the overcook so also a pass from her. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and millionaire bacon. The pancakes were the only star of the entire meal really nice flavor on the pancake itself and the sauces with the pistachio and blueberry toppings were a great accompaniment. The bacon however was flabby and not at all the quality I would expect from a restaurant. The staff when we were being helped were all kind but they scarcely checked up on us and based on where we were seated they didn't pass by often for us to be able to flag anyone down. This resulted in empty drinks the majority of the visit as well as us having to go inside to request the check. It did get busier as our meal progressed but being quick to turn tables becomes more important during that time and we felt mostly ignored, even when it was slower The plates all look gorgeous and while there were other menu options that look intriguing I'm not sure I would go back to try them given the majority of the meal was lackluster and at the end ran $124 which we didn't see the value in based on our experience read more

My bf and I have been to Outpost twice now and loved it both times. We've only been on Saturdays, prob one of their busiest days, but we still managed to get a table without reservation each time. Outdoor seatings are popular and usually very loud if they have large groups, we opted for inside today. Emily was our server, and she was super nice and awesome! Honestly, if people don't come here for the food, I would come here for the service because everyone is so nice! I love their food here, ingredients are fresh and their coffee and matcha are delish! I had my matcha both unsweetened and sweetened a bit and they were so good! We have our favs, like the protein bowl, steak, Super Bowl, avocado toast, and Aussie scramble, which we tried for the first time today just to support Oscar Piastri wining Pole position again in a race (Sprint Qatar today!!). They're Australian themed, but it was pretty much healthy western/ American breakfast offerings. Maybe I didn't have very high hopes of living this place because we only chose to come here out of convenience, but I'm so glad we dined here! Everything was so good and I'd come back for sure! We made a reservation on open table which was easy and efficient. I like that you could choose outside or inside, because both seating areas are nice, but it was a little chilly the day we went, so we decided to sit inside. The hostess was nice and friendly and our server was great. The inside is nicely decorated. Very modern and chic. They have a variety of drinks: coffee, tea, smoothies, juices and cocktails. My dad has his coffee refilled and the servers were all very nice and attentive. We ordered the date mate salad, the blueberry pancakes and the eggs, sausage and avocado skillet. Everything was so delicious. I don't even like pancakes normally, and gluten free pancakes are even more of a turn off for me, but I saw a table next to us had it and they looked good so we ordered it. They weren't necessarily fluffy or cakey, but I wasn't mad. The combination of blueberry and lemon sauce and pistachios was exquisite. For $16 for two pancakes (or $20 for 4), it's a little on the pricey side, but I'd come back for these! The date mate salad was also surprisingly good. It had a LOT of chicken. Chicken was alright, but the combo of herby greens, lemon vinaigrette, goat cheese crumbles and dates was amazing. I'm going to try to make this at home. I got a nitro cold brew . they don't have any sugar-free syrups because they are all made in the house with cane sugar. they offered Stevia and sugar in the raw packets. They offered two different types of straws. For the price that is being paid, you assume it's for value. Value that includes efficiency to make sure food that is supposed to be hot (eggs and meat), versus what is typically a little more likely at a large restaurant chain. Breakfast and lunch are served starting at 8, so it makes it a great place for brunch where some people want eggs and others want a burger. I got their chorizo burrito (bam bam) and it was everything i wanted! Cheesy, filled with potatoes, and i even got their salsa verde on the side. So good and really filling.
