An interesting restaurant, that looks crazy busy when you show up. They take all orders first (food and drink and dessert, etc.), and then you find a seat (hopefully) and they bring it to you. Service wasn't wonderful as a result - it was kind of hit and run. When we needed napkins, we had to actually walk around and track someone down, since there aren't servers per se. Personally, it's one of those burgers I try and just forget about. I'm not sure what the rave is behind these burgers but there are other great burger spots in OC. What a cool place! Located at The Camp, parking can be brutal sometimes but it is what it is. My husband and I heard great things about Ahba so we decided to try the fan favorite burger and it did not disappoint! I love everything about this place except the location! The camp is truly a nightmare on the weekend but if you have the patience to wait for a parking spot, Ahba is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended spot. AhbA is located in the Camp by folks pizzeria, and the wine lab. I have been to the Laguna location, but the one in in Costa Mesa really does it. The ambience in there is very vibey and chill. Everyone is having conversation and there was live jazz music which really tied the vibe together perfectly. The wings were pretty small and basic. Nothing too special. I went with a group of people so it was nice to try a variety of different appetizers to share with the group. Parking here on during Sunday lunch is kinda crazy. My cousin took 30 minutes to find parking, and ended up parking in the neighborhood adjacent then skateboarding over. Same for my brother, he ended up parking near the Lab across the street and walking over. My uncle paid for valet (which is at the opposite end of the shopping center). The salad is an interesting chop style Caesar, but the dressing lacked flavor and was more lemon than Caesar. I've been to their location in Laguna Beach but didn't know they had a location at the Camp until recently! My friends and I were waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant and came here to sit at the bar and get a drink while we waited. We were starving so we got a few bites to share as well. We sat at the bar and were served by the bar manager, she was so so friendly and kind. The restaurant was clearly very popular as it was busy and there was a long wait for a table. They also have a rooftop bar with music that I didn't get to see, but would love to come back and check out. We didn't get to stay long because our table at the nearby restaurant was ready sooner than expected, but I definitely plan to come back here for a proper lunch or dinner to get the full experience! I got the Ahba burger and it was double patty double cheese overall flavor was pretty good unfortunately I got the spicy fries and it was on the salty side so I couldn't finish it. Another one of my friends ordered the steak and Frits and this was pretty disappointing since it was more like fries with a side of steak. I personally love getting the caesar salad as the side with an upgrade because it's the perfect balance! Food and drinks are always impeccable. Price definitely reflects that as well. The pickled radishes added this perfect tangy crunch that cut through the richness of the lamb, and the fresh dill and mint made it so bright and herbaceous. I discovered Ahba at The Camp in Costa Mesa on New Year's Eve with my tennis crew, and what started as a birthday/NYE celebration has turned into a full-blown obsession.
