Went in on another weekday night and were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Got the camp anawanna, still delicious with toasty cocoa notes. And also got the seasonal margarita-prickly pear. I thought it was delicious but my partner thought it was a bit too sweet. Ended with the lava chocolate cake. Yummy but not worth $14, a bit small for that price. Ambiance is impeccable as always, it seems they change the decor ever so slightly? This time there were whispers of skulls, maracas, reminiscent of Dia de los muertos.
Cozy Pine feels like a hidden gem I almost don't want to share. But after the evening we had, I can't help but spill every delicious detail. The moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warm, cozy pine--wood-paneled walls, soft amber lighting, and that unmistakable speakeasy charm. Its very small and cozy, resembling a night out camping. And then there's Angelina. From the moment we sat down, she made the experience absolutely unforgettable. She knew the menu inside and out, recommended a smoked old-fashioned that came with a toasted marshmallow. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does--and it shows. She's the secret ingredient that turns a good night into a great one!
I tried the camp anawanna with marshmallow cocktail and apple pie shot, which were both tasty. The bourbon tasted like fireball, missing the "graham cracker" note, and the apple pie tasted like green apple and no cinnamon. Both had a good balance of liquor and sweetness. The decor makes it a cool place to grab a drink and has a chill cabin vibe. Service was fine, as they made sure to announce last call for the bar and food, but didn't check up on us for anything besides for ordering.
genuinely was amazed by how cute this spot was! it's definitely smaller than expected and it really is hidden but worth it! I loved the camp theme and the little cabins that you could sit in. the food and drinks were also amazing! I got the lychee drink which tasted delicious and it was strong. for food, definitely get the bbq fries, the flavor was amazing and addicting. we also got the glamping plate which is like a charcuterie board and I got shrimp and fish tacos. bartender was also super nice and shared with us some PBJ shots! service was great
Who'd expect a pretty small restaurant to add a small speakeasy to their location? I think it's brilliant as we all love speakeasies and it was packed, while the restaurant, Bacchus, was empty, on a Saturday night. It was rainy So Cal day so that could explain why no one was dining out. We put ourselves on the wait list which was about 30 mins or so. When we got there, they didn't really check our name. The gal said she only has barstool seating for two. We said, ok. The place is so tiny, but cozy, as the name implies! I found the my drink good, but nothing too crazy special. I had the Camp Anawanna which is a graham cracker infused bourbon and a torched marshmellow drink. It was good, but not for $17. I also didn't care for the service. I don't think I'd return.
Tracking down a solid drink in Orange County without stumbling into a sugar bomb takes some effort, but Cozy Pine totally nails the assignment. The space itself has a genuinely cute campground aesthetic that sets the ideal backdrop for a relaxed afternoon or evening out. We went with the Outdoor Oldie and the Lycheed & Loaded cocktails, and both were balanced and delicious. You obviously need proper snacks to anchor drinks that good, and their BBQ Shoestring Fries hit the exact right note of crispy and salty. The environment is effortlessly chill, but the bar program absolutely means business. My idea of camping.
I have visited Cozy Pine twice now and only have good things to say. Firstly the service is great, all very nice and I got a complimentary smore tart plate from my server the last time I visited. The location is also good, there is tons of parking available and I have never had trouble finding a spot. The drinks here are STRONG which is good, but bad if you're driving, so get a couple snacks to sober you up haha. They usually require reservations due to the small capacity of the Cozy Pine room but I think it is definitely worth checking out!
In search of a fun spot for good conversation that was unique. This place seemed to check all the boxes so I made reservations. It's located in a shopping center so plenty of parking and the cozy pine is located in the back of Bacchus Bar and Bistro so that's where you enter. It took me a second to figure it out. Once you enter you realize how small it is with very few tables so not great for big parties so recommendations are the best. The drinks selections are pretty fun and tasty as well as the fries. Definitely try the fries!!! Service was great and our server always made sure we had what we needed. If you're looking for a cool fun place to get a drink with a couple friends or date night this is definitely a spot to try out. There are amazing food places around as well.
Pricey food and drinks for the ambiance. We came during the World Cup and since the Speakeasy is not fully enclosed, we could see the big screen projector above the "roof". There is a window at the entrance and we thought the food and drinks would come out from there, but instead servers kept opening and closing the main sliding door to enter. Kind of an annoyance since people outside can see in, and people inside could see out.
We came for apertifs and all of the drinks were soooo good. We tried lychee, dirty Girl Scout (minty whiskey), and a Smokey mezcal. We LOVED their crispy fries. It tasted like Lays BBQ chips.
I don't go to speakeasies or bars often and my friend wanted to try this spot so we made a reservation to come. Personally, I have never heard of this place before, but my friend said she had seen a lot of tiktoks and it was hard to get a spot. After trying it, I can see why! The inside is very small. The largest party a table can fit is 4 and the whole place can fit maybe 8 parties of 4 max since there's 6 tables and 1 long bar area. We made a reservation for a party of 4 on a Monday at 6:30 pm. Both "tents" which are more intimate tables, were taken already. Food was okay. My friend got the BBQ Shoestring Fries ($12) and my other friend got the Campfire Guacamole ($14). They accidentally gave us the glamping plate ($15). We ended up sharing the Chocolate S'more Tarts ($14) as well. For drinks, my friends got the Camp Anawanna ($17)and Devil's Postpile ($17). I got the Lavender Fields which was a lemon drop which wasn't on the menu. I liked my drink as it was sweet as expected. The server said the Camp Anawanna was one of the sweeter drinks on the menu, but my friend disagreed. She ended up getting a different drink and the server was nice and changed her drink at no extra charge. Overall food and drinks weren't anything crazy, I did enjoy the fries and my drink, but I wouldn't come back specifically for them. The theming for the place is very cool though! Service was a little slower. Since the speakeasy is inside of Bacchus, and in a whole separate room, you can't see when tables need assistance. We found it difficult to get their attention and it got pretty busy in there. They were very nice though. As I said earlier, they changed my friends drink and didn't charge us for the glamping plate since they accidentally gave it to us. For ambience, this is where Cozy Pine excelled. It truly feels like you're in a cabin and the vibes were great. Very cozy and comfy. Perfect for couples or for a girl's night out. I love the decor and even the mugs for the water. The menu is also well curated for the place. I would definitely be back, but give myself some time to enjoy the atmosphere!
Highly recommend making a reservation when you come! It's VERY tiny and cozy inside (much smaller than we anticipated with only few tables). The interior is SUPER cute and cabin themed with dimly lit orange/firey lighting. It's located inside Bacchus Bar. They have a good selection of finger food here - we ordered bbq fries which were delicious and tasted like bbq chips - the fries were thin and crispy which I love. We also ordered the smores which were more of a cold chocolate pudding inside a cookie wrapped in toasted marshmallows - it was super delicious!! The drinks here are yummy and they have mocktail options available as well.
Cozy Pine is located inside Bacchus Bistro in the Quail Hill plaza. Parking is easy and no fuss and the place is very easy to find. Cozy Pine has about 6 seating areas and a few bar top stools in a corner. The ambiance is cute, space is limited, and the decor fits the name. The munchies selections are limited but all sounded great and they had a great selection of unique craft cocktails. Fortunately I was already full from my previous destination for the evening so we just opted to try the drink specials . I ordered the Lychee martini and it was very delightful with a kick that I appreciated. Overall I will definitely be back!
This place is located inside a gorgeous shopping center in Irvine. It's located inside, Bacchus Bar and Bistro. Which, was extremely crowded. They have tons of parking in this shopping center. They share it with TONS of other places. One of my BFFs saw this on an Instagram video and wanted to check it out. *They do take reservations When we came in we checked in with one of the waitresses. She said she would seat us in a minute. To be honest, she did forget about us. A waiter walked up to us and asked us what was going on (we were standing there for around 7 - 10 minutes) and we told him we had a reservation for the speakeasy. He immediately apologized and sat us. This camp themed speakeasy has a couple booths. It's on the smaller sides. Which, speakeasy's are usually small to begin with. I did not get the waitresses name, my friend and I were busy catching up. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. I will say service was a 2/5. However, the actual restaurant, cozy pine is located in, was packed because of the World Cup being on TV. So I definitely was not going to complain The food Our food order did come out extremely FAST. Faster than our drink orders. -the campfire guacamole -BBQ shoestring fries (had bbq seasoning all over them so it tasted like a BBQ potato chip) -Glamping plate (charcuterie board) -steak tacos (one without onion and cilantro -churro affogato Again, the food was VERY fast!! And to be honest it wasn't that bad. I'll say, speakeasy's usually shine in the drink department vs food. Drinks -Lycheed and Loaded Ketel One, lychee liqueur, lemon, elderflower. This was extremely delicious! If you don't like to taste your alcohol? Go with this. It was really refreshing. Hand this to me at a spa and I'd be the happiest gal in the world -Camp Anawanna $17 Graham cracker-infused bourbon, licor 43, chocolate, torched marshmallow (the waitress catches the marshmallow on fire at the table) This one was stronger and I didn't think it was overly sweet despite the ingredients I think they had a good selection, especially for a small speakeasy. I have been to better, so I don't think I'd return. Especially since the service was not that great. We still had a good time and recommend for every speakeasy lovers list. read more

We arrived on a Saturday night to celebrate my coworkers promotion and birthday. The hostess asked if we made a reservation before hand which we had not but would be able to seat us in like 15-20mins. We sat at the bar inside for the restaurant but there was a smaller enclosed area which was the speakeasy. My coworker ordered a margarita from the bar. It was mainly ice and the alcohol content was lacking in his opinion. Once there was a table available we were brought inside a cabin themed area. We ordered from the menu: Bug Juice, Devils Postpile and non alcoholic Black Cherry Bomb. The wait for the drinks was around 15-20mins and were prepared by what we believed was the same bar for the restaurant outside. The only difference was the drinks were made themed for the speakeasy. Overall the service was ok. The drinks and dessert were average. My coworkers did feel that their drinks were more on the sweeter side than just tasting much of the alcohol. A cute concept idea but did feel like the overall experience was alittle lacking with food and drinks. Parking wasn't a problem it's in a plaza with other restaurants and shops. read more

Ambiance is great. Feels like you're in a cabin in the woods. Service is prompt and friendly. Food is solid. Shrimp tacos hit and were absolutely packed with shrimp. Cocktails were tasty and followed the theme well. Will be bringing friends next time for sure! read more

They release reservations on Yelp a week in advance. It is a small speakeasy, so I highly recommend making one. I had to call Bacchus' phone number to change my reservation time for Cozy Pine. Nicole was kind in accommodating the change. I ordered the ruby's expedition and found it less sour and more sweet, but still refreshing. My friend ordered a lychee martini special for the night. We also tried the Devil's postpile and it was too sweet. My friend didn't finish that drink. As we left, another table mentioned to Nicole that the drinks were too sweet for them too. We shared the guac and glamping plate. The guacamole was served with two big rounds of tostadas, which makes it a little harder to share. We would prefer regular tortilla chips to easily share guac. The glamping plate was good, but just too small to share. Decor is perfectly on theme and cute, even down to the drink ware. Their walls had a Big Foot graphic that often caught my point of view. This is probably a good spot for date night for those who enjoy sweet cocktails. I would try Bacchus first than revisiting to Cozy Pine. Also, when making a reservation it says there is $20 minimum spend per person, which is easy to fulfill due their pricing. Like ordering one drink and an appetizer. read more
This is such a cute little speakeasy! It is located inside Bacchus Bistro. The space is small, so reservations are suggested. I was lucky to get a spot without a reservation since it was earlier in the day. I love the ambiance so much- it is campsite themed. The drinks are fun and playful. I liked their version of smores. This place is a definite must if you enjoy tasty cocktails and cute views. read more

This place is such a fun hidden gem in OC. The food & drinks are delicious and the speakeasy ambiance is so unique! It's definitely pricey but if you know that going in and are more focused on sharing small plates & cocktails you'll leave very happy :) The menu has changed both times I've been as well which is so fun! read more
Pretty cozy, intimate place with an awesome theme. Was able to get seated on a Saturday night. Ordered an old fashioned and some other drink. Drinks were pretty good - but the service was a bit slow. Would come back though if I'm feeling for an intimate vibe with a bit of a theme. read more

This is an Instagram trap and I'll tell you exactly why. We recently visited this speakeasy tucked inside a quiet restaurant and had mixed feelings. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight: very cabin-cozy, warm, and intimate, which made it a fun spot to settle into. The French fries were also solid. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't live up to expectations, especially compared to other Orange County speakeasies like Pioneer 10 or The Blind Rabbit. They lacked nuance and depth, and didn't have the complex flavors we look for or expect in a cocktail-focused spot. The experience took a turn when the bill arrived with a 20% "cozy pine fee" added for just two drinks and fries. That surcharge felt surprising and hard to justify given the overall value, why are we being charged a fee of 20%?!?! This also wasn't on the menu or told to us upfront. Personally I don't think it's worth checking out for the ambiance alone. If you enjoy good cocktails this isn't your spot. read more

Made reservations and glad we did. Very intimate and small, but so cute and cozy. Drinks were good! We loved to have stayed, but made reservations at a local restaurant. Good customer service. Not the most comfortable seating, but I totally get it. read more
First off, everyone who answered the phone to book my reservation (I had several changes) was soo nice and accommodating!! Service overall was all top notch! Soo we got to sit in the cute cabin-yay!! I loved the vibe and decor! The Apex Predator was pretty and delicious, and my friends who got the s'mores drink-it was so cute and got lit on fire (didn't catch it on camera though, ah well!). read more

The decor is super cute and intentional. I think its worth checking out but not sure if I would come back just because of the price and how small the space is. Cozy Pine is a fun little dining experience! Tucked away in the back of Bacchus Wine Bar, it feels like you're transported to a totally different place when you come in. The music was southern country campy, the lighting was awesome, and the environment was truly cozy! We got 2 rounds of drinks and snacks. The drinks were all solid, good thematically, but a little unbalanced in terms of flavors. The snacks were yummy. The corn ribs were very fun to eat, but the seasoning was a little inconsistent. The guacamole was solid, but the portion was a bit small for $14. We had the place to ourselves and had a really nice time. Service was attentive, kind, and engaging. An enjoyable outing! read more

This speakeasy is hidden inside Bacchus Bar and Bistro. As you enter the restaurant, you can make your way into this campsite experience! Camp music playing, picnic tables, and very on theme decor. I kept feeling as if I was in Cars Land/Grizzly Peak at Disneyland. Such a warm and cozy vibe. Though the drinks were great, we were a bit disappointed in the s'mores presentation, size (very small), and pricing. We expected something worth more, value wise. I can see myself returning to this spot to try other drinks, but may not be the first place I'd recommend to someone who wants to enjoy food with their drinks. read more
What a fun speakeasy, hidden away in an Irvine strip mall Cozy Pine is a speakeasy, that's open daily, located inside Bacchus Bar & Bistro. To visit this location, they want you to join the waitlist on Yelp, and check in at the front of Bacchus with a host when you arrive. While the menu is small (both in term of options and the size of what you get), everything we got was delicious and crafted with care. On the Saturday night we came, we checked in early on Yelp. While we showed up at our time, and still had to wait for about an hour before there was room for us inside Cozy Pine. We were informed when we arrived that there was a party of ten ahead of us, and there really wasn't a lot of room inside Cozy Pine. No worries, we could pre-game at the bar in Bacchus while we waited. Cozy Pine is decorated in such a cute way. The entrance is through a bookshelf, along one of the walls in Bacchus. While it is very cozy while you're inside, it's a very fun build out and theme for a speakeasy. We love going to speakeasy bars, so when we were visiting Irvine, we looked up speakeasies in the area and found Cozy Pine. It is located inside Bacchus restaurant at an unassuming strip mall. But once you enter the speakeasy hidden behind a sliding bookcase, you are instantly transported into an intimate campsite with whimsical decor (cotton white clouds, small wooden cabins, antler chandelier, tin plates and drinking cups, and orange tinged lighting). Even the receipt at the end of the meal was presented inside a tin soup can. Great attention to details. For drinks, we had the Dirty Girl Scout and Devil's Postpile. For small eats, we ordered Chicks in a Blanket, Campfire Guacamole and Candied Pork Belly. We loved the pork belly so much that we ordered a 2nd helping! Highly recommend to go early and try to sit at one of the 2 "wood cabin tables". When it got crowded, it can be noisy in such a small space. But very cute speakeasy! read more
This little speakeasy is located within Bacchus Bar and Bistro. The plaza is big and there's lots of parking and it's free. The ambiance is indeed cozy and super cute! They have little clouds and woodland critters inside. the drinks were good but I will say we ordered food chips and dip -queso fundido and waited an hour and watched everyone else eat their fries/food. They did have a staff change and we told the new waitress but we ended up just asking for dessert instead after seeing like three other tables get their food first. Maybe the fries are faster? We got the camp anawanna and the lycheed and loaded. The lychee drink was amazingly refreshing! I would get that again. The camp anawanna ... only our drink in the whole bar the marshmallow wasn't toasted and it was cut in half. We saw the images online and ALL the other tables had their marshmallow toasted with a full size marshmallow. They were to be fair VERY busy and looked a bit understaffed. So we might give it another shot. We got the smore tart and it was good on first bite. THAT Marshmallow WAS actually toasted but the inside chocolate was cold. That's a miss! Overall I can't attest to the food we never received. The waitress also didn't really seem sympathetic to the fact we waited an hour for food and gave up.., but she was really nice. The waitress before her was also very nice. It's a cute date night spot with very unique vibes. We might give it another shot eventually. read more

Fun ambience and delicious drinks! Made a reservation for 2 and it was definitely worth it since it is much smaller than anticipated. I wouldn't recommend this spot if you have a party larger than 4 people. Decor is super cute. Ordered the Apex Predator cocktail and it was very delicious. The bbq shoestring fries were also great! Crispy and comes with a side of ranch. We also ordered the chicks in a blanket, but unfortunately it fell flat. For $12, I didn't think it was worth it. The size was extremely small, and the flavor was bland. Overall, I would be weary of the food here since it's on the pricey side. Service was excellent in getting us seated and making recommendations for us. Overall, I think it would be cute to come back, mainly for drinks or to catch up with a friend but not something i would go out of my way for. read more
Coziest bar of them all. Hidden inside an innocent-looking sliding door, is a spookily decorated (just briefly for Halloween), speakeasy! We loved the service, and the Apex Predator is definitely one of their star cocktails! Camp Anawanna is a really cool s'mores cocktail, but the bourbon came on too strong for some friends. Overall, such a vibe, but also very popular and with limited seating. I'd highly suggest it if you want to go out on a weeknight :) read more

I believe when I made my reservation, I had up until 24 hours to cancel without a fee
How many seats are in this space? I'm wondering if I were to have my birthday there. Thanks!
There was about 6 booths and could fit 2 -3 people in each one and there was a couple high chairs. So maybe around 20 seats
How far in advance can I make a reservation? I see that it's only an available thru the beginning of December right now.
They book out 2 weeks from the date you want to reserve.
Is the food offered enough for dinner or just to accompany the drinks as appetizers?
It's a super cute place and the snacks are good, but I wouldn't say it's enough for dinner personally. There's a restaurant outside of it that has a much wider menu so you could always eat there if you're still hungry.

We do! Friday and Saturday do get booked fairly quickly, you’re welcome to call and check what availability we have on our waitlist.

The Cozy Pine opens at 5:30pm everyday. We close at 9pm on Sundays and 11pm the rest of the week.

You can call the restaurant or cancel through Yelp or however else you booked the rsvp on
Do you have any vegan and vegetarian food options?
A lot of their small bites is vegetarian, and they use a vegan chocolate sauce in some drinks.
Do you have an non-alcoholic drinks/mocktails?
Hi, we are currently working on curating one to be on our menu, but our bar team will happily shake or stir something up for you according to your preference!
Do you need reservations or are walk ins allowed?
You can walk-in, but might have to wait if it's full since it's small inside. Reservations are easily made on Yelp as well.
Does it have a full bar?
Hi, we have a full liquor program. The cocktails are made to order from the main bar at Bacchus, but the space is its own enclosed experience. We hope to see you soon!
Do you have any beer, wine or non alcoholic options? My husband doesn't like liquor and I'm pregnant but we want to check it out!

Hi, Thank you for contacting us. Currently, we are a 21+ space. We are hoping to extend hours on Saturday and Sunday for younger guests between Noon and 4:30PM.
