Nice open airy multi-business venue with this place taking a central location within. Great beer selections and cocktail options are available from this place. Bartenders are welcoming, active, and lively. Great meeting space with outdoor areas all around the building. There is a couple TV's to keep you up on sports and the average person coming in here is amicable.

This place is such a hidden gem in Irvine/Tustin area. It's right inside the Mess Hall and if you come a little earlier during midweek it's not too busy. There are a bunch of food places in the Mess Hall so you can eat food and grab a drink. We asked our bartender if she could make us a drink. All the drinks looked great and our bartender was super creative. Her drinks are not only beautiful but also delicious! Both drinks we got were tequila based. One is like a Tequila Sunset and the mango flavor was super fresh. All their syrups and garnishes are made in-house it seems. The second drink was inspired by the Lakers with purple and gold colors. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. If you're feeling adventurous, my recommendation is to ask the bartender to make you something, just let them know what your go-to liquor is and maybe some flavor profiles you like. The custom drinks do cost $15, but I think it's worth it considering the general range is from $12-$15 per drink.

The bartender: "Do you like your drink?" Me: "It's very light, like drinking fruit juice." The bartender: "So you like your cocktails stronger?" Me: "Who wouldn't like their cocktail to taste like fruit juice?" Instead of pouring me a proper cocktail, the bartender walks away. Why bother asking me if you're not willing to make it right? ---Martiny de pina y mango: It's like drinking Ceres Mango Juice with a splash of martini. Unfortunately, the bartender didn't mix it well and all the alcohol is hiding beneath the mango juice. It's like playing a game of hide and seek with your drink, but instead of finding Waldo, you find an overly sweetened 0.5oz of strong alcohol lurking at the bottom. Yuck! And don't get me started on those cheap dried citrus pieces that look like potpourri floating on top. They have zero function and zero fragrance, yet every cheap cocktail place seems to use them. Maybe it's time to invest in some real fruit, people. --- Spicy Mule: It comes in a tiny bronze cup, probably 0.5 oz alcohol inside. --- As for the "Mezcal Old Fashioned," it's a complete joke. The bartender pours everything into a shaker with a scoop of mini ice cubes and shakes it for nearly 30 seconds before pouring a diluted liquid over a giant ice block. Who shakes a Mezcal Old Fashioned like that? I've never seen a bartender shake a Mezcal Old Fashioned like a maraca before. It's meant to be stirred a few times and then poured over a big ice cube, but this guy cheated. The drink has less than 1 oz of liquor, and the rest is just water. ---And finally, the "Lychee" is the most expensive fruit juice I've ever paid for. Is there even any alcohol inside? Maybe just a measly 0.2oz? It's hard to tell. The environment is like company canteen that's open to the public in the after company hours. It's literally surrounded by offices.

I like to come here on Wednesdays or Thursdays since my favorite bartender is here those days. Miguel can cook up some fine cocktails making them look like a wonderful piece of art. To where you don't want to drink them because you will ruin the beautiful artistry that is in front of you. There are beer and cocktail offerings here and you can try samples of the beer of course. There are also special cocktails listed on a small menu on the bar to choose from. I go with the El Diablito since it consists of mezcal and I love the smokey and tangy/sweet flavors from this drink. Make sure to stop by here, located at Flight in Tustin Legacy!

First time visiting the Flight at Tustin Legacy campus and I have to say I'm impressed. The DRINK BAR was one of the spots my friends and I stopped to have a drink at and we thought this place had a cool vibe. There was plenty of common area seating inside and outside. You are able to take our drinks to the outdoor patio, which I recommend if the weather is nice. There is an array of shaded areas as well as some in the sun. The staff at the bar was very helpful and quick to process orders. Prices were reasonable (averaging $12 - $15). We had the Spicy Flaca which is a refreshing cucumber-based drink with tequila. I did not see food on the menu, but there are some food options within the same area. We paired our drinks with chips and guacamole from the taco spot next door and that fulfilled our snack craving. We went on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking and it wasn't overwhelmed with people like the Packing District in Anaheim.

I feel ambivalent about sharing this review because I'm selfish and don't want to share this place with anyone else and in they're own right will gain notoriety. But the bartenders (actually alcoholic magicians) working here are so cool, and knowledgeable I feel it's my duty to share it. Located in a newly constructed location, The Mess Hall, Drink Bar is where the magic happens. The concoctions they've come up with are so ridiculously delightful, they should be illegal; almost. Let's take this smoked Oaxacan margarita ($12ish), glass is filled with wood chips smoke, rimmed with salt and sugar, and garnished with a dehydrated lime. Flavorful as heck and goes down like water. Spicy mule ($12) with Serrano infused vodka. They make their own infused vodka people! A very close 2nd fave drink of the night. MORE than just a Spicy kick. Lychee/passion fruit Pisco sour with real egg whites ($??) I think it's around $12-14, but it was specially made for my buddy. 2nd best thing I love about this place, the bartenders. They're both Super nice and super chill. I would def give this place a try and go out of my way to get here! Only negative right now is the hours are wonky. They close at 5pm on Sunday's and 8ish on the rest of the days. This due to the fact that the surrounding office buildings are not fully opened and they are still in a soft opening schedule.

Personally I don't like paying more money on one little cocktail then an entire meal but my friends wanted to go out to grab drinks so we ended up here. The bar is big but it was all full! And it was a Thursday night! Maybe because it's new. The bar tender was great and the drink was good. I just never think 15 bucks for a small cocktail is justifiable. I ordered the Butterfly martini because it sounded like it would be more on the sweeter side, which is what I prefer. It certainly was sweet! At least the drink was strong. I just sipped mine the entire meal but I could see people having 2 or 3 of these and they will be LIT. Not much more to say, my friends ordered other drinks that they enjoyed, one was neat because they lit some of the garnishes on fire for a smoker flavor boost. That was pretty cool. My friends also ordered some food that they were able to bring to the bar to enjoy while they sipped their drinks. All in all, I am done paying for overpriced alcohol at these trendy market hall joints. Soda water for me all the way! But I will be back again because there are lots of food options I would like to try out.

Drink Bar is a promising spot in the Mess Hall food court over at Flight. They have a pretty promising line-up of booze and a decent selection of taps, but the drink specials need to be improved. I really like mezcal, and there is a lot you can do with it, but the one drink special that uses it is just a mule with a bit of flair that you can't really taste. Now, the mule was good, but that isn't a way to feature the spirit. There were other specialty drinks on offer, and few of them looked like they could be interesting, but I wanted a mezcal or tequila cocktail to pair with my tacos, so I went with the mule. Specialty drinks are $12 or $14, which is reasonable, and I expect the operating hours to extend and think like happy hour to start once they go beyond the soft opening stage. Maybe next time I come in I will see if I can teach them how to made a tequila/mezcal version of penicillin.

I thought this is a good place to hangout and get a drink. They have beer on tap and I selected the house blonde which I thought was light and just want I wanted. They also have mango cart on draft that I normally get. Bartender was personable, but seemed to be a little busy with his phone texting but he still answers my questions so I have no huge complaints here. I would definitely be back here with my friends. The choices of food is also a selling point for me, it's an awesome food plaza, small but really cool food places and the drink bar at the center of it all.

You can make reservations on Yelp, and there is also a Yelp live wait list. We visited during happy hour (Tuesday thru Friday from 4pm to 6pm) to take advantage of their food specials. We had the coconut shrimp ($12, but $7 during happy hour) which are always good. We also had some fries ($7, but $5 during happy hour). They were good and a generous portion. She wanted to try the vegan (cauliflower) salt & vinegar wings ($14, but $9 during happy hour). They were breaded and fried well, but had very little flavor. There was just a light sprinkle of a salt & vinegar seasoning. More salt and a dash of malt vinegar on them, or a side of malt vinegar would have made them a lot better. The happy hour food was a good value and got something in our stomachs. My first cocktail was the Wilderness Badge (Tequila, Lemongrass, Basil, Bergamot, Lemon, $17). This was by far my favorite. I love Italicus liqueur and this drink had great bergamot flavor up front with a light basil flavor from the basil infused tequila. It was very balanced and I would have never guessed this was a tequila based cocktail. She started out with the Sasquatch Sighting (Jamacian Overproof Rum, Cynar, Mango, Molasses, Lime, $17). This was balanced, with a light bitterness and light sweetness with mango flavor. Next, I tried The Lost Camper (Demerara Rum, Thai Green Tea, Pineapple, Coconut, Lime, $16). It was a pineapple bomb with a hint of coconut. I didn't like it at all and actually sent it back. I did think the skeleton arm and hand swizzle stick was cool. It is served with the hand at the bottom, but I took the picture with it sticking out. Instead, I had the Black Sands from the regular cocktail menu (Bali Hai Pineapple Rum, Diplomatica Reserve Rum, Pineapple, Orange, Guava, Lime, Coco, charcoal, $18). It is served with a flaming lime and sugar cube. I've had this several times and love it. It has a great funky complex flavor. Next, she had the Naked & Afraid (Mezcal, Campari, Smoked Pineapple, Serrano, Passionfruit, Lemon, $17). This was really good with a great complex mix of smoke and bitterness with a little heat. She gulped it down, and I was lucky to get a few sips. We decided to share the last new cocktail, the Scouts Honor (Vokda, Peach, Mandarin, Orgeat, Lime, $16) so we could say we tried them all. It looks nice with a bright orange color, but it was very sweet and peach forward with a hint of orange. Our server Crystal was great, very friendly and provided great service. We started collecting mugs recently, and we bought the Belly of the Beast Monstro mug ($62) to take home. BOTB is their Pinocchio themed speakeasy in the back (separate reservation required). They also have several other Stowaway branded mugs available. This visit was definitely better than our last few. As far as the five new Summer Camp cocktails, two were excellent, one was good, one was ok, and one was not good. The food was good, and is a great value during happy hour.

I had a 7:30 reservation and arrived at 7:35, but waited nearly 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The hostess was quite rude and told me we had lost our table because we were "late," even though I had been standing there waiting to be helped. She eventually seated us at a dirty table and the overall interaction felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Thankfully, our server Omar completely turned the night around -- he was kind, attentive, and very helpful. The manager Dave was also amazing and made sure we were taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent. The cocktails were delicious, the hummus with warm pita was fantastic (definitely ask for extra bread!), and the melted cheese with toasted bread was a highlight. The fries were uniquely cut and perfectly cooked, and the calamari was top-notch. The view and ambiance make this a great place to relax with friends over tapas and drinks. I would come back again for the quality of the food, the beautiful setting, and the wonderful service from Omar -- but I do hope management addresses the front-host experience, as it really sets the tone for the evening.
