This spot delivers every single time! I was craving a good old fashioned burger and fries, and this spot hit the spot. I ordered the Big Bargain Special, which comes with a cheeseburger and fries, and it never disappoints. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and tasted like a homemade burger fresh off the grill. The french fries was also crispy. What I also love about this location is the vibe. It has that laid back surf and skate and post beach feels that makes you want to kick back. read more

Way overpriced for being a basic burger and fries. $11 burger fries combo is a single burger and doesn't come with a drink. There was such a small amount of fries on all our plates I thought about saying something but didn't care enough to. 3 burgers and fries, 2 drinks and a shake and it was $50. For $16 I expected some out of this world flavor and good size burger and got neither. I would've just as much liked to walk next door and get a double Del burger from Del Taco. Not bad food at TK it's just very basic and extremely overpriced. Literally barely got any fries with the combo it was wild. read more

This used to be one of the best burger spots in OC. Unfortunately, after my visit this past Sunday, I left pretty disappointed. I placed my order about 5-8 minutes before arriving, and while I appreciated how quickly it was ready, it may have been sitting for a while because both the burger and fries were completely cold. And for fry lovers, cold fries are the worst. When I walked inside, the restaurant was also extremely dirty and had an unpleasant smell. It didn't seem like a one-time issue -- the place looked like it really needed a deep cleaning. Sadly, this place has lost a lot of its value when it comes to cleanliness and quality. read more

Basically frozen burgers you can buy from Vons or target. In fact target brand burger is probably slightly better. Not sure how this place is still open, when there are so many other better places. read more

I've always seen TK Burgers, but it was just one of those places I always drove past over the years and was neither interested nor did I ever give it any thought to be completely honest. The business park/plaza I work at does an annual tenant appreciation lunch event where they order catering for us. Last year they did In-N-Out which was awesome, so I was a little bummed out they didn't do it again this year, but it ended up being a very pleasant surprise. At face value, a cheeseburger from TK Burgers really isn't anything special, I gotta admit. However, once I sunk my teeth into it, I was actually really impressed. Delicious charbroiled patty, fresh produce at all the right ratios, and the best part to me? The bun. At first I thought the bun was going to be dry as a bone and crumbly, but it's actually soft. The property management company sent out an email saying there were still burgers left, so I ended up getting a second burger. Hell yeah moment. Anyway, I was in the area yesterday and ordered a cheeseburger and it was just as good as the last time I had it awhile back. Actually, it was a little better last time because it was free haha. Overall a very solid, simple, straight-to-the-point cheeseburger with an excellent bun. According to their website, they have a bakery make their buns with their secret/proprietary recipe. It's not a place I would drive out of my way for from Anaheim, but if I were in the area or if I lived nearby, I would definitely stop in from time to time. read more

After over 15 years of patronage I think I have to say goodbye to TK Burger. Anytime people talked smack about TK burger I would defend this place, but my experience today prooves things have gone downhill. I called to place my order for the mini meal. The woman who answered the phone did so with the most unenthusiastic "hello???" as if the call had just woken her up. When did we decide to stop answering business phones by stating the name of the business? When I got there, the woman at the register didn't greet me. No smile, no "hello"....I told her I was picking up a phone order. She took my payment and moved the bag that was on the counter toward me and said "this is it" all without ever looking at me. She looked miserable to be there. I had to remind her that I had ordered a drink, to which she said "oh yeah" and she moved a cup toward me. Between the phone call and this I never want to see this sourpuss lady ever again! I remember this place having fun music that matched the surf/skate vibe of the sticker covered walls, but now there's no music, it's dark & the people sitting in the dinning area in silence seem sad and depressed and you just faintly hear the spanish music the cooks in the kitchen are listening to. The mood at TK Burgers has become "someone died and we are in mourning".... it ain't good! (if someone from the TK Burger family did pass and that's why people are sad my sincerest condolences and apologies) When I placed my order I specifically asked for it to NOT have onions. Guess what? When I got home by burger had onions! The fries were also so underwhelming I threw them away. When fries manage to make you sad that's pathetic. I will say, I still will recommend the TK Burger truck for corporate and private events because I've had consisentenly good experiences with their truck/catering. read more

Iconic burger place in the OC. When I think of a burger place TK always enter my mind. The burgers are good! Fries are one of the best I've ever had! This location has tater tots with the perfect crunch too! There is parking on the side and towards the back. I got the TK special lettuce wrap- it was good as always with tater tot fries! read more

Always has been and probably will be one of the best Burgers in Orange County. I stand on that. Nothing Fancy, just a good Old Fashioned, well Seasoned Burger that makes me wonder why would I try a Smash Burger when the original is the GOAT? If I'm at work and want a Burger this is the automatic choice. Hands down. I know In-n-Out is just up the street, but for the value TK is kicking that azz without sacrifice. If you're in Costa Mesa or happen to be traveling up the 405 exit at Bristol and treat yourself. Yallhollatchaboy'. read more

Best burger in Orange County actually best I've ever had, the way they flavor and season the beef is unmatched, I can't duplicate it, but yall changed your bun. Really tempted to give four stars. You used to have the best bun and you got it from some bakery in Carson. It was a soft potato style bun with perfect burger to bun ratio. Now it's some crumbly put on the grill pretzel style bun. Sucks. Also you claim quarter pound patties but I've recently got in n out hockey puck style thin patties ain't no way they were quarter pound. Hope the manager sees this. Still the best burger in California. And this is the only TK they'll actually cook your burger medium rare when you request medium rare. I live closer to the HB but the chef there is lazy. He not only won't cook to order he pre cooks the patties so when you order it comes out less than a minute well done and lukewarm. But please, TK, why did you switch the bun? Also can't order Newcastle beer anymore read more

TK is the best burger in OC hands down, they have a great deal on a burger with fries and it is absolutely perfect. The locations are all cool beach shack vibes and the employees are always super cool and nice. The burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries and the seasoning are the BEST and the extra seasoning shaker is a must! The secret sauce is the best sauce on a burger. TK IS THE GREATEST BURGER!! read more

Ate here for the first time in at least ten years and boy has this joint gone downhill. The lady that answered the phone to take my order sounded bothered by my call... my apologies. Burger and fries were lukewarm which was not great. The cook was not wearing gloves and the bun was stale. The fries are "meh" at best. Must have new owners since the last time I was there. I will NOT be going back... I'll just stick to In-N-Out up the street where they understand customer service, hygiene, and consistency. read more

"Terrible" is the understatement of the century. One and done with TK Burgers after tonight. Had heard good things and we made a late night DoorDash order. Opted for the Chicken Breast Sandwich and two corn dogs. I had to do a double take when I opened the bag. The corn dogs were burned black. No hyperbole. Just scorched. I've worked back of house jobs before and there is absolutely no way I would send that out. Apparently, not a problem for TK Burgers. Thought the sandwich might have redeemed them, but no. The bread was soggy to the point that it was actually falling apart. The chicken was dry as a bone. Might as well have thrown away $25 because everything was inedible. Beyond disappointed. Don't let yourself be gaslit by the positive reviews. There wasn't a single redeeming quality about the food, and it's an embarrassment that it was sent out to a paying customer without a second thought. read more

I can't believe they made a big deal about paying $.25 for a side of ranch when I already paid $6 for 6 lil pieces of "onion rings" read more

Great classic fast food burger just the way you expect it to be. Easy to order online and pick up. Like the smaller burger with the same toppings for kids. Enjoyed the turkey burger and chicken sandwich for those in the family that don't eat beef. Much prefer this to in and out. Probably spent more on gas driving up from disneyland than my burger but it was worth it. read more

Review 6 of 2025 I was running out of time so I ordered just the cheese burger with cup of water. The restaurant itself is small. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. The parking lot is extremely small and tight. I was lucky enough to find the spot. Service was good and fast. Ambiance is cool with nice wall arts on the wall to the ceilings. I will definitely go back. read more

After having tried TK Burgers in Mission Viejo, I realized there was another location near work. Love to come here for a SOLID cheeseburger with fries, for the price they can't be beat even compared to In N Out. This places just has their consistency and quality down with absolute speed.. In N Out lost their touch ages ago when it took 30 minutes to get a cheeseburger. I can come here on lunch, and be in and out in absolute reasonable timing. Service could be a little friendlier, but I can understand the frustration of handling a lunch rush with a line out the door. Parking here is a little tough if you come during lunch.. there's like 8 spots in total. That aside, if you prevail then it's worth a visit for a very good cheeseburger all for less than $10, in today's economy.. that's a bargain my friend! read more

Yooo. Finally got to try this hyper local neighborhood burger joint. The charrrr on them patties is incredible. The beefy essence is nice; great seasoning / flavor. . Exceeded my expectations. The service has been nice both times I've visited. Very pleasant staff and casual laid back vibes. Definitely prefer this to like Mickey Ds, Burger King or Carl's Jr type mainstream junk. read more

Mediocre at best. They forgot multiple items in my order and I was charged for it. I don't recommend

We were looking for a lunch spot close to the LAB and ended up stumbling upon this place. We came right before the lunch rush, so we had no issue finding parking (the parking lot is relatively small). There's also a decent amount of tables both inside and outside. I ordered the hamburger with fries, and my husband ordered the hamburger with sweet potato fries. I swear, we barely got our waters and ketchup to our table before they called our number already LOL. I don't know how they made our order so fast, but I am not complaining, haha. I really love how simple the burgers are, because you really taste the flavor of the meat. The regular fries were nice and crispy; the sweet potato fries were half crispy/half soggy. Portion of fries was small, but I'm trying to diet so it kind of works out, lol. Also minor observation, but the paper plates they serve the food on are super flimsy, and makes the place/meal feel cheap, lol. Overall, we did really enjoy the burgers and fries. Food is decently priced and comes out lightning fast, making this place an ideal and convenient place for lunch. read more

Very casual spot, counter order. Service was ok. The cheeseburger was ok tasting, but the bun overwhelmed the sandwich. Too much bread/too big a bun for the inside. Fries were good. The strawberry shake tasted very artificial. Was just an ok stop for lunch. read more

Loved this place!! Came here at 1:30pm on a Friday and they were decently busy. Got the Bargain Meal (cheeseburger & fries) + avocado & bacon, it was SO GOOD. Food was ready pretty quickly for how busy it was. A really cool fun atmosphere and plenty of shaded outdoor seating. Will be back!! read more

Two nights ago, my bf went to TK to pick up a cheeseburger for me. He told me he argued with the cook because he didn't want to make the burger, since it was about to close. Well, the burger was CHARRED. It didn't even taste like meat. I don't know if this was done on purpose or this is the normal quality of their food. I was HUNGRY so anything would have tasted good at that point. Please don't give this place your time or money since they obviously don't want business and would rather close than to make one decent burger to eat!!!! I ate from this place on Wednesday 6/3/26 and it was the worst burger I've ever had. Just terrible food and service. read more

We were in the area, so we decided to give TK Burgers another try. The burgers and the fries this trip were a lot better than I remember, and I'm glad we stopped in. The burgers weren't much to look at, but they sure did taste good. They were well seasoned and cooked right. I liked the simplicity of them. Burgers are best when they are not festooned with blue cheese crumbles, onion strings, aioli sauce, and so forth. The fries were good, too. She and I both got fountain drinks, but beer is also available. The drill is you order at the counter, and they call your number when your order is ready. It works. It's a casual place. The dining room is a nice, comfortable place to enjoy your food. I like the surf and skate vibe with lots of stickers and surf photos on the walls. My pictures are better if you click on them. Cheers! read more

Horrible experience! I paid 30 for what I thought was a steak sandwich but is more like a baby steak burger. I added avocado and they game me one thin slice. Onion rings were burnt. I was the only costumer and I told them for here but they gave it to me to go. I felt like they didn't want me there. Service was bad. Turkey burgers here are good and quality taste. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a burger to try.

Food is always fresh and quick, even during a lunch or dinner rush. Plenty of options to sit down and enjoy your meal inside or outside!

The customer service went well how they interact, and the food was also good, and the bun was not soggy on their hamburgers

Don't underestimate this little place! From the outside it doesn't seem much, but once you enter inside it has its own little personality filled w stickers and surfer decor. Once I took a bite out of my cheeseburger, I literally had to take a moment to sit back and appreciate such quality of food. Plus they have their own sauce that pairs well with basically anything on their menu! 100% encourage anyone reading this to try this place! Enjoy! read more

Small shack on Bristol and Baker, right behind the Pet Hospital and PepBoys oil change. If you drive by it without really looking for it, you'll miss it. This location has the OG 90s beach burger shack that everyone loves. Truly, the menu is still the same, which honestly brings back melancholia of one's youth and the so many great things that come along when you take that bite from your burger and fries. They have added the Vegan version which it's a good alternative if you are vegetarian (they do grill it on the same grill as the meat patties) and the variations of sides like sweet potatoes fries, tatter tots, onion rings and regular potato fries. Let's not forget the corndog and their famous ranch sauce. What I also like about this location is their breakfast menu (is not offered at all locations), a good alternative for the rest of the restaurants around the area. Everything is simple but really good. If you ever come by, don't forget to look up and admire the decor and if you happen to have your own piece of nostalgia, stick it on the wall. read more
