Chicken Teriyaki, Kung pao tofu, Fried Rice and Egg Flower Soup
Jack M.

It was just okay. The food was either burnt or just bland. The egg flower soup was very thick. The fried rice was crispy like it was cooked for too long. Other than that the service was good and it was clean inside.

Walnut Shrimp

Food was delicious, service was great. I got: Kung Pao 3 Delight; fresh ingredients, good amount of chicken and shrimp, 2 pieces of beef. Not spicy. Walnut shrimp; fresh ingredients, perfect sweetness, good amount of shrimp Veg. Chow Mein; fresh ingredients, included (green onion, onion, bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, carrots, snap peas, mushrooms) serves 2 Thai Tea and Sweet Tea 10/10 everything was to go but they do have a clean establishment with seating available.

Thai tea they had on a special for $1.50, sooo good.

Orange Chicken lunch speical

I was craving for Orange Chicken in my neighborhood and ended up going to KPB for a late lunch last Wednesday. Good lunch special menu which comes with a choice of hot & sour or egg flower soup + 2 potstickers for $13.99. Very generous portion and tender pieces of chicken with just the right amount of breading and orange sauce.

Listen here Americans. That's 60$ worth of food you're looking at here!!! This place is a miss!!! I don't understand why everyone likes the orange chicken so much, it's worse than Panda Express and equal to your hole in the wall place like "the Great Wall". The flavors are ok, it's one of those orange chicken bites that are mushy, steamed, and stringy, the kind of orange chicken bite that gets stuck in your teeth because it's stringy and mushy. But yea the flavors are there but not crispy at all. The only thing worth getting is Mongolian beef or trio. Anyone who gets the orange chicken for 15$ or says it's worth it is straight lying to you, it's just as equal to any random spot like Hong Kong express... it's mushy and gets stuck in your teeth. The fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce in a rice cooker. The chow mein noodles were good. Overall, It's good! But it's not as good as Panda Express (shame) but the Mongolian beef or trio is better things I've had: -Orange chicken (mushy, stringy, stuck in teeth, no crisp, just blobs of old fried chicken bites) -King pao chicken (looks good, tastes like vegetable oil with no spice, wtf?!) -Mongolian trio (heavy on the oil and green onion) -Mongolian Beef (oil and onion flavor) -fried rice (old white rice in soy sauce with no veggies) -chow mein (oil, soy, aromatic flavor but dripping in something) -BBQ Pork (again not bad but not as good as a random spot like Hong Kong express or Great Wall) AVOID AND MY PHOTOS ARE REAL

This place was delicious the first time and continues to be delicious every time we eat there, it's always freshly made and served hot off the grill, we look forward to dining there and enjoy their service

Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken Bowl

Ordered a bogo deal for lunch at work and I was pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of the food here. Everything arrived packaged nicely with utensils and condiments. The orange chicken was light, airy and crispy with just the right amount of sticky sweet sauce on a bed of rice and broccoli The teriyaki chicken was also delicious. Not too sweet and prepared perfectly. The portions were just right for lunch and I enjoyed every bite. I ordered again a few more times cuz I was a fan! Can't beat the price a deal either! Definitely a lot of bang of bang for the buck. Will definitely keep these guys on my list of go-to's for lunch! Happy Eats!

Chow mein, orange chicken, wonton soup, kung pow chicken. Tasted great even after a drive

Tasty! Odd but cute location. Service was friendly and quick. We'll be back! Every dish was good - wonton soup, chow mein with pork, orange chicken, and Kung pow chicken. Exactly what we were looking for.

I was craving Chinese for lunch and found this spot. First time, and I'll be back. I ordered the lunch special for $13.99. Ginger fish was my choice. It was served with soup, gyoza, rice, and egg roll. Food was good and service was excellent! Portions are big, so saved some for next days lunch.

Don't be fooled by the word bistro. This is a solid Asian restaurant. The interior has a dark ambiance going for it. For any entree, you can make it a combo and get an eggroll and a bowl of soup. Our eggroll was pipping hot and the egg flower soup was addicting. Their family size can easily feed two and if you go throw this route, you can feed two with $20-25 which is so doable for an amazing meal. Food came out fast and the chicken was so moist - not dry at all. This place isn't busy enough. Show them some love!

Mapo Tofu is without ground meat

I've been here several times for lunch with Hubby or friends. We've always been seated right away, and the food is brought out quickly. The Lunch Specials are reasonably priced and the portions are good. After paying over $12 for breakfast at McDonald's this week, $13.99 for entree, soup, potstickers, and rice was more to my liking. An additional 50 cents for a can of soda was fine. Hubby's Kung Pao Chicken was tasty. I have had Mapo Tofu and Curry Chicken that I enjoyed. My friend ordered Wonton Soup, and it had plenty of goodies in a nice broth. The only thing I would change is the flimsy metal chairs. The sturdy wooden tables should have better seats. Good parking in the small shopping center. We had a pleasant server (possibly Hispanic?) last summer. I hope it was just her day off this week, because she was helpful and chatty.

I have ordered from here several times and ate in at the restaurant several times. They make some of the best food in the area. I am always satisfied with whatever I order. The flavors are great and the portions are great sized. Service is quick and polite. Restaurant itself has a nice rustic charm. Look forward to eating there more! Pictures are of the Egg Flower soup, Wonton soup, Szechuan wonton, black pepper beef, and egg rolls.

Yum Yum Yum. We tried several dishes on our recent visit. We got the Filet Mignon French Style, Eggplant, Pad Thai, Won Ton Soup, and Mongolian Trio. Everything was delicious. For a Tuesday night they had a steady flow of customers. Seating is small, but cozy. Service was great we were well taken care of. I look forward to going back.

They don't have many table to seat large parties (3+) they mostly have bar seating and the booth seating is pretty tightly packed so just a heads up that if you have a larger party you might need to wait longer. Luckily I got sat in their few middle tables that were spacious. I was able to order quickly and the workers are nice and gave me recommendations. Passion fruit green tea and this was definitely my favorite thing I ordered that day the drink was so light, refreshing, flavorful, but not too sweet the passion fruit seeds being in the drink was annoying though. (4/5) Spicy XLB they came out quick but I wished they were hotter they were just warm but delicious flavor and filling sadly was not spicy though no kick no heat at all. (3/5) Beef rolls nice and crispy lots of scallions and the cucumbers added a nice fresh aspect and crunch but needed more sauce. (3/5) Pan fried dumplings took the longest to come out were crispy but not that flavorful again very filling though. (2/5) Golden prime beef noodle soup I'm sorry but this was just not for my taste at all I can't even describe what flavor the soup was something I have never had before very unique. The noodles were nice and chewy but again I'm expecting soup to be hot but it just came out warm. (1/5) They had some sauce and chili oil on the table and I made a mix but it did not help add flavor to any of the items. I ordered too much and the leftover beef rolls and pan fried dumplings reheated well in the air fryer.

Leaving this review after an almost bad experience to help the restaurant or anyone else that may…read morehave eaten here today. 5 stars for fixing the problem immediately for us. We've been here several times before and what keeps us coming back is the quality of the food. Today, they had a new chef cook our food and it was terrible. Green beans were extremely sour (way way too much vinegar). Mapo Tofu had a ton of oil but not enough sauce, so it was just flavorless except the oil. The fried pork chop was over fried where some pieces you can't even bite through. The rice had too much water in it and was mushy. I rarely return food but this time it was so bad we had to let them know. We returned all of our dishes back to them. They let us know there was a new chef today, and they would remake all the dishes for us with the original chef. The replacement dishes were just as good as all our previous visits and it was excellent again! So thanks to the staff for fixing the problem. I'm not sure if they are training a new chef to take over, or as a backup, but they need to be careful as serving bad quality food like that would drive most people to never come back. We knew the food was good from prior experience, so we knew we could ask why the food quality changed. For first time customers, or those that may have ordered to go - if you had bad food today, it may have been a fluke due to the new chef. Service however was a amazing as usual. For all our visits including today, the staff has been kind and always looking for ways to help out and make sure we were having a good experience. So besides the food being good, I would say excellent service is also huge plus here. Don't be fooled with the automated ordering and robot delivering the food into thinking there is no service. The people behind the counter are awesome! Hope management takes care of this new chef issue quickly since their food quality is the main reason people come here. There was a night and day difference between the original food we got today, and the replacement!

Modern Chinese, Ancient Disappointment…read more EverSpring looks great, sounds great, and is priced like it plans to deliver something memorable. Unfortunately, what I'll remember most is how quickly my excitement turned into polite disappointment. The salt and pepper pork chops were...bold. And by bold I mean shockingly salty, like the chef was trying to preserve them for winter. I've had salt and pepper chops more times than I can count, and this version tasted nothing like any of them. Overcooked, oddly flavored, and just completely off. If this was a creative interpretation, creativity may have gone a step too far. Then there was the crispy beef. I say this with sincerity: it was inedible. Not "I'm picky" inedible--burned-breading-that-tastes-like-toasted-mistakes inedible. Each bite delivered a charming note of scorched regret, like someone deep-fried a crouton and called it a day. I stopped eating not because I was full, but because my taste buds filed an HR complaint. And look, if this were cheap comfort food, I'd shrug it off. But this is sit-up-straight-when-the-bill-arrives pricing. For what we paid, I expected at least one dish to make me say, "Okay, this works." That moment never came. The concept is solid, but the food just didn't deliver. I wanted to love it. My taste buds, however, requested an early exit. Everything went to the trash can. Never again.

There were a few featured items that seemed to be what most people were ordering. I went with the flow and ordered one of the top items, the Ma Hu Beef Noodles. They were definitely interesting, as the flavor profile wasn't something I had experienced before. I'm no noodle connoisseur, but it was easy to tell they were fresh. They had that lighter, slightly chewy texture that stands out compared to the usual. On a random weekday they had a good crowd for lunch, mostly office types from the surrounding buildings. It wasn't hard to get a table, but the food did take a bit longer than expected to come out. Pricewise you aren't looking at a bargain, but it's not unreasonable. I imagine parking might be difficult if it is more crowded as there are a limited number of spots in the parking lot and it has a funky one-way design. Overall this is a decent lunch spot if you're nearby and something different from the norm. Four solid stars.

This has long been our go-to for Taiwanese comfort food, and while the flavors weren't always 100% authentic, they hit the spot. However, our recent visits have been disappointing. The restaurant has become incredibly "penny-pinching" with their service. I was recently told there would be a $1 charge just for a sprinkle of scallions and another $1 for a small side of clear broth for my dry noodles--requests that were never an issue before. Furthermore, when we ordered extra noodles for my son's beef noodle soup, the original portion seemed intentionally smaller, defeating the purpose of paying for the add-on. Between the degraded service and the "nickel-and-diming" atmosphere, it is no longer worth the 30-minute drive. The vibe has changed, and the pleasure of dining here is gone.
