Would have given this place a 5/5 if it wasn't for the service. The food was exceptionally good--everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and was definitely worth coming for. My only complaint was the service. Our server wasn't very communicative and came across pretty bland and uninterested, which took away from the overall experience. A little more friendliness and attentiveness would have made a huge difference. That being said, the food itself was excellent, and I'd definitely come back for that. 4th visit update: no more managers special so entrees are at a minimum $15.95 across the board. Ordered everything as usual, pho and fried rice which everyone enjoyed, ordered the following new items: Crispy Noodle with Pork & Veggies: 3.5/5, pork was good, noodles were crisp and not stale, sauce was salty though Wonton Noodle Soup: broth was tasty and wontons were nice and plump and didn't fall apart as some places the skin breaks apart in the broth. Found it lacking some substance though. Some slices of port and some veggies added in would have balanced the meal out and made it more complete. 4.5/5 So overall, food is still great here although on the bit pricier side compared to other similar soup places nearby. THE BAD: as stated from another reviewer, customer service is horrendous here. Really makes me giving 15% way too much for what nonexistent service you get. They even start their auto-tip at 18% as their lowest level. My initial review I was forgiving on this as they are a new establishment and I want them to do well. However, being the 4th time there, it's like pulling teeth to just get water refills or anything else. The front staff you can tell do not want to be here. They say welcome more out of routine then actually welcoming you to come eat. When refilling water, the new waiter was annoyed I didn't bring my glass up to get filled fast enough for him to stand by and do me the favor as he would rather go back to the counter to jump on his phone. It's the same with the main guy talker wears a hat. Both would rather jump on their phones then come check in on you or get you some water. They really should just put a water station or give each table a carafe of water and let us refill it ourselves if they don't want to do it. Being a relatively new restaurant, they should really appreciate all their customers coming in and make them feel welcome as these are the people who will keep them in business and recommend this to others. My suggestion is to find someone to be your host that genuinely likes to interact with people and make them provide an enjoyable dining experience. My buddy lives around here and he's Viet and he wanted to give this spot a try. We started with some shrimp spring rolls and they were as expected. I thought they were good but he had a few critiques about them. I got a bowl of pho and he got the garlic noodles and lomo. The pho, like I have said before is as good as can be expected. The lomo was very overseasoned. The thing is, I like my food on the saltier and more seasoned side and the lomo was still a little extra for me. The service was good. Everyone, although some were non-English speaking, was very nice. The decor was interesting. The seats all have a photograph of a resort on them. Would I come back? I dunno. I might. Pho4U was a pleasant surprise. I ordered via GrubHub and the order was prepared and ready for pickup within 10 minutes. I ordered the Lomo Shaken Beef w/ garlic noodles and the Ribeye with Garlic Noodles. The Lomo Shaken Beef was definitely a standout with tender beef slices, garlic noodles, and fries paired with the house sauce. I would definitely recommend it and would come back for it again. For the garlic noodles, the garlic was cooked perfectly, and the noodles had a delicious buttery garlic flavor. The ribeye with garlic noodles dish is also tasty, with the ribeye being placed on top of a bed of garlic noodles. The only thing I would say is that the ribeye is very thin, so if you're a protein lover you may want to opt for the Shaken Beef too. read more

This place is definitely worth a visit, although they are still finding their way as a replacement pho and more Asian fusion restaurant. Their menu is like a Cheesecake Factory booklet, so that is always concerning as you don't really know if you'll get consistent flavors and quality for the sheer amount of menu items offered. The younger server was polite but not as intuitive. We ordered goi cuon thit nuong (grilled pork spring rolls) and also bo luc lac to share, plus P05 waygu pho for our third person. No extra plates were brought out except when we finally got up to ask, and we were the only table there at 12noon on a Saturday. Also, our party included two non-Asians but no offering of forks. Again, we had to ask for them. The above is feedback so you can work out the service kinks, because the food itself was delicious. My out of state friend was super happy with his waygu pho and my usually chicken only friend enjoyed the filet mignon tenderness of the bo luc lac, and the super sauce absorbed by the French fries, but still remained crispy on the outside. I have already told a few friends to give this place a try. They're all Caucasian foodies so please take heed of the service and paying attention to your customer demographic. I thought the pho was better than the previous Soup and Noodle. We ordered the P1 and P2. My combo was FANTASTIC!! Had a lot of good sized goodies especially the tendon, wow!!! Broth was on point, one size which was large. IMO this place is not tiny like the "other pho places" and the ceilings are high, and not crowded. The Beef Pho was very flavorful and the meat was lean with not alot of fat. Inside has plenty of seating for small and larger parties. Delicious and this tastes good. I got the beef brisket and wagyu pho. I think next time I will just get beef brisket. The brisket was more enjoyable for me and more beef flavor in that. I love the way they packed it for takeout but I do wish they added a couple more limes. Half of one was enough but I like extra lime too. If I could give this place zero stars, i absolutely would. I ordered the chicken, shrimp, and egg roll vermicelli bowl and the shrimp was not cooked--at all. The chicken was definitely old because it was gray when I bit into it and it had a very strong odor. I didn't even get to the egg roll because the food was inedible and disgusting. When I let the staff know, they simply took the shrimp out and later put the same shrimp onto my bowl--slightly more cooked. I don't know how they're still open, seeing that my experience is not a singular event. If I'm in the mood for food borne illnesses, I will remember to keep this place in mind. read more

We came into Pho 4U on a Friday night since many other options were super busy. This building used to be a restaurant that did garlic noodles, so I'm not sure if it's just rebranded or under new ownership, but I believe the menu has changed at least somewhat. The interior is clean but not the nicest. We were sat down quickly and we ordered their Lomo Saltado with garlic noodles, a combination Pho, and a spicy wonton appetizer. Spicy wontons were like those you would find at a Chinese restaurant, but were lacking in flavor. I probably wouldn't get it again. Their pho was decent, but the portion of noodles was very small and the broth tasted quite artificial, but still enjoyable. The real saving grace of the meal was the garlic noodle dish, which is something I'm not even typically the biggest fan of. The fries in the Lomo Saltado were fresh and crispy while still being glazed in the sauce of the stir fry, filet mignon was very tender and flavorful, and the garlic noodles went well as a side. Their herb sauce could have done with a bit more herbs and being a little bit less creamy though - it kind of ate like a ranch. If I came back, it would probably be for this dish only. read more

Decided to dine in and give this place another try. Mind it, this is probably one of the only pho restaurants that is opened late in the city of orange, which is awesome. We ordered the shrimp pho, spicy wontons, shrimp spring rolls and tofu pad Thai dish. I must say my pho was very delicious, the broth was very flavorful, I enjoyed the sprinkled garlic pieces that were added. Not traditional in my opinion, but I enjoyed it! The shrimp was clean and fresh which was great, but they use ice burg lettuce, which I personally prefer romaine. I must say they are a little pricey but their portion sizes make us for it. The pad Thai was decent but the spicy wontons were a little too saggy, the wrap was falling apart. We received friendly and fast service, our food was served probably within 10-15 mins after we placed our order. The interior booths are outdated and are beach themed from possibly the 80's, which throws the vibe off, but all in all, I truly enjoyed Pho4u. We've been more than a few time because the food is good but there's this one guy who either doesn't like us for whatever reason or doesn't like to be there. There's been a few occasions where we sit there for a while before he brings us a menu, but essentially just leaves them on the table and scatters away. There was one time we got our food before we even got waters brought to our table & on a different occasion I had to flag him down to refill our water, even though he saw our cups were empty. On that same visit because he was trying to hurry away he even ended up spilling some water on me. He said sorry as he walked away. We've only had 2 issues with our food out of the at least 10 times we've been. One time my noodles were clumped together & the owner came, because this guy was like oh idk hold on & walked away, he apologized & got me a new soup. Another time we were told that this one plate we always order had always come with fries & we were just missing our rice. Rice didn't show up so I had to go up to the counter & ask the guy, different one from the earlier mentioned one, who took our order about the plate that was brought to us. Food is the main reason I came here desperate to find a good pho place in the area. I've tried so many pho restaurants and was always left empty. Finally pho done right! I got the beef and brisket pho. They only have one size but it came with a good amount of beef. I usually eat alot and order extra noodles to be satisfied. The great part about the noodles is it came with a generous amount of broth with it, they didn't skimp like most places do. The reason I like their pho is 3 fold. 1. Broth is actually great. 2. Meat is flavorful which is rare when it comes to steak (pun intended); usually they just mask the flavor of meat with good pho broth but not here. And lastly the noodles are not chewy and separate well when eating, I can't really explain this well but I love noodles like this and not when they are harder to chew or taste too much of starch/flour. Here they do all 3 right which I'm very well pleased. Came with one broth and barely filled. I had to throw away my pho wagyu because there was no broth for the second soup....how does a pho spot forget to add pho container for soup.....???
