I've been to My Pho several times now! They just added a Banh Mi menu and it's delicious but be warned, it is spicy! I think their Banh Mi is better than their Pho, so I'll probably just come back for that. The staff is friendly everytime I dine in too. As usual they are the best! I love their shrimp rolls! Its so fresh and tasty. Don't forget to add extra jalapeño! The service is great. They are all very welcoming. The ambiance is nice specially after remodeling. The shrimp rolls is $8 for 2. There is a huge big parking lot outside so no worries to find parking lot. There is a big area to sit inside but no patio or outside sitting. Very clean and neat and I love the way they are packaging my shrimp rolls and its never smelled like fish which is the best part! read more

Love this place, been going here for many many years, all the ingredients they use are very fresh, I don't ever find a piece of vegetable that is wilted or dark. The vegetables are all crispy which makes the food is fantastic. The recent complete remodel made it just that much better. It's a mom and pop kind of place where the owners are always there to greet you and make sure that everything is great with your meal. This place is as good or better than any Viet. place you're going to find in Garden Grove. I'm a big fan of their vermicelli bowl with pork and egg roll. Dip it in their great fish sauce with some chili oil mixed in and you're in heaven. Their Viet iced coffee is fantastic. I had their Jasmine milk tea with Boba tonight and it's probably the best I've ever had, even better than any Boba tea place I've been to since it was very, very strong Jasmine flavor and not too sweet.. Their beef broth Pho is also fantastic. The broth can rival any i've had at places that specialize just in Pho. I love to get the vegetable broth with the beef broth, I know, but I just love lots of vegetables and it's such a fun meal with the fried tofu instead of chicken or beef. My favorite dish to share is the turmeric fish platter that comes out sizzling hot and with lots of vegetables to wrap in. They close at 8 o'clock, so it's difficult for me to get there with all my late night activities so the only thing I can say is that I hope they stay open later in the future. Tonight, I was there at 8 o'clock almost on the dot and the restaurant was so full and so many people continued to come in while I was eating, but they stayed open until until after I left at 9:45. read more

This restaurant serves soup quickly. Before I finish placing my order of chicken pho, I can sense someone in the back preparing it with an extreme sense of urgency. The staff here pulls zero crap, which is astonishingly refreshing in contrast to all the upselling and precious smalltalk that passes for hospitality at the average nightmarish franchise restaurant. The chicken in the chicken pho here tastes exactly like chicken. This meat tastes like it is chicken rather than merely being chicken flavored. The same can be said for the water the chicken and noodles drift in. I note(d) a distinct water tang or hints of a watery quality throughout the bowl. The noodles keep it real here, and do not fake it until they make it. Usually the ambience here is to thrive for. The staff is quiet. No loud TVs. No clatter. No one droning on about political nonsense. Just the silence of soups. Today the occasional wail of an infant upset the vibe here. The parent of the infant did not understand the infant was an infant, so I assume the parent was hoping for a quiet dinner instead of an evening of screaming. The soup here is so rewarding I almost forgot the mediocre parenting happening a few tables over. Some people are not as good to be around as chicken pho. This is our go-to place for pho. The soup is good, no issues with special requests, and prices are reasonable. They give a cash discount, so stop by the ATM before heading over. We usually order pho and egg rolls. Everything we have tried is good. The phorito is a great idea. It is basically meat, rice noodles, and veggies wrapped in rice paper like a burrito. The vegetarian pho had three pieces of tofu the rest was veggies and noodle. The wife couldn't even finish it, as she said it was the worst broth, and flavorless dish she's ever had. My dish of the "grand" combo had bits of meat. Flavor was ok. But it was cold. Three small shrimp. One piece of chicken/pork I don't know what (it was a baked bready thing) There was no "shrimp cake" and then the vermicelli was cold and underneath that a bunch of sprouts. Maybe this is all better when you're in there. But delivery it's not good. The broth again was flavorless. I just don't get it. Oh the egg roll was delicious. So yea it's a no for me. read more

I ordered two of the #13-Rare Steek, Flank, Brisket and Meat Ball Pho Combo Noodle Soup. Took it home and put everything into a real bowl because I don't like eating it out of the plastic bowl. Things can get quite hot. Pro-tip for TO-GO orders. Since they did all the work for you, the least you can do is to pour the broth into a pot and boil it. That way everything is nice and hot. They way Pho should be served. Service was fast and friendly. I paid cash and got a discount on my order. Place was clean and organized. I will be back to try other dishes. This is my absolute favorite vietnamese restaurant! I moved further away and I still make the drive here because it's that good. Their charbroiled pork is actually magic. I don't know what they put in it and I don't care. It's genuinely my favorite food. I usually get a charbroiled pork pho with chicken broth and it's always so good. I also get charbroiled pork spring rolls. Their spring rolls don't have cucumber, which is perfect because I personally hate cucumber. I'm also a fan of their bun vermicelli (charbroiled pork obvi) on a warmer day or on the rare occasion I'm not craving pho. Their fish sauce is also one of my favorite things. It's the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. The fresh squeezed lemonade soda is another 5/5. It's like fair lemonade, but sparkling. Perfect mix of sweet and sour. The service is always great and they're always accommodating when I ask for a boatload of extra limes. In general, this is my most favorite restaurant and I always get so excited when I get to come here. read more
