Vermicelli

My go to work stop for pho, vermicelli, and lemongrass chicken. It's one of those consistent places where you always get the same quality and portions. Their pho is BIG! Bigger than most places I think. The lemongrass chicken (sub white rice for red rice) is always good, and vermicelli is always a good option if you want something just heavy enough but slightly refreshing. Nothing extravagant but always what you expect. Their tap water is also not great so hydrate well beforehand. It gets busy during rush hour lunch so just plan accordingly.

The food here is good. The prices are okay, average for the Y2KXXV (2025-present day) era where so many of us have to acknowledge the quarter century gone by since the year 2000 with inflation and cost of living adjustments. The one thing I think could be improved to their Vietnamese cuisine peer restaurants is slightly larger portions, simply "more noodles" a low overhead cost would probably make this place busier and with insignificant profit loss but overall higher revenue gain. The Garlic Noodles are perfect, not overwhelming nor overpowering. Easy parking.

We ordered the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls to start. Amazing!!! For dinner, I ordered Grilled Chicken over vermicelli and my boyfriend ordered Pho Fish Fillet. Mine was so good, fresh and flavorful. My boyfriend really enjoyed his. He said it hit the spot! The servers were nice but didn't come around very often to check in. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture. This was the aftermath.

Been coming here for years. Excellent pho for this part of town! The broth isn't just rich and savory--it's hot and stays hot, even after you dip your veggies in it, making for some satisfying sips. I usually get the dac biet pho or the oxtail pho. Tried the beef rib pho for the first time and it was the most fall-off-the-bone tender I've had. Service is always friendly and the dining room is spacious, with enough decor to make it feel like you're eating out at a Vietnamese restaurant and not at some generic place in a strip mall. Spring rolls, bun (vermicelli), and com tam (broken rice) are always good here, too. Our local go-to for delicious Vietnamese food!

I've been getting their pho for a while and the flavors are always so good. I like their hot sauce! Today, I am trying the chicken pho. Service is always friendly even when they are busy and the ambience is always lively with at least a few customers or more. Good for large parties or a quick solo lunch . Parking in front.

Great service. There are a lot of options to choose from and something for everyone. I would recommend to my friends and family. Good food.

I had the bit thit nuong -- vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and eggroll, with the usual fixings -- peanuts, carrots, cucumber, lettuce, etc. The portion was a decent size and colorful. The nuoc cham (fish sauce) was fine as were the thin noodles. The meat was a little dry and could have been more flavorful. The eggroll was not that crunchy. I would say overall that the food was okay but I have had better. No one came to fill my water. And you have to pay at the counter. Lots of parking as part of a large shopping center.

The service truly stood out. Our server, Naz, was exceptional. She was attentive and anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, and made the whole meal feel effortless and enjoyable. For the kids, we ordered the chicken tenders to share, which came with fries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert -- a nice touch and perfect for little ones. My husband and I ordered from the social hour menu and tried the spicy tuna rolls, wedge salad, cod tacos and the crème brûlée. The cod tacos were the highlight of the meal. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The wedge salad was solid and refreshing. The spicy tuna rolls were the only item that fell a little short for us, but overall the experience, atmosphere, and especially the service more than made up for it. We'll definitely be back, especially if Naz is working! Oh and the creme brûlée was delicious, I will get that every time.

Had the lobster roll. I was sort of disappointed at the small portion of lobster. The lobster to bread ratio was like 2:5. I feel like any restaurant offering lobster rolls always skimps out on the amount of lobster. I had also asked for the fries to be extra crispy, but they came out soft. My boyfriend did enjoy his Ahi Tuna Salad. It looked pretty filling. Overall I think the food is decent but pricey.

With the amount of garlic they put in the sauce it's so well balanced that I couldn't even tell garlic was in there! We got the omg level spicy & it hits you in the back vs the front. Doesn't linger too long & gets you coming back for more. I love that the food came in a party tray and not in a bag. Instead of egg noodle for garlic noodles they used linguine. Soooooooo goood! Felt way less heavier. Overall, the food was delicious, flavorful, not too oily. 10/10 The girl who took our order was super sweet! Food: You can do half pounds here! So if you're ballin' on a budget (like me) and want to try a little of everything, you can! I usually get a half pound of shrimp and a half pound of either clams or mussels, sometimes I get corn, eggs, or potatoes. Eggs in a seafood boil is slept on, definitely recommend! The shrimp is super big and plump so it's worth what you're paying for it. And can't go wrong with mussels or clams (if that's what you like). - The food is served in a tray, not a bag like other seafood boil places, but it makes sauce easier to get to! Sauce: I usually get the Daddy Sauce (mix of Cajun & Garlic Butter), basically their house sauce...the sauce is sweet and has a lot of garlic, love! and for spice level I get Medium or OMG! (which if you're feeling spicy like SPICY, then get this but be warned it burns!) Ambiance: It's nicely decorated, with cute color for the walls, and very neat and clean. Service: They're really nice! Although they can get busy sometimes, they try their best to help you. Overall, the food here is delicious!

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. The vibe here is always chill and low-key, which I appreciate--never too loud, just a good spot to actually enjoy your meal. We were seated right away (always a good start), and drinks came out almost immediately. Our server was ON IT the whole time--attentive, quick, and super friendly without hovering. Started with the calamari (non-negotiable at this point). It comes with Mae Ploy sweet chili and a roasted pepper aioli--both . Crispy, not greasy, and the portions are solid. For mains: Seared Yellowfin Salad -- super fresh, light, and flavorful. The citrus ginger dressing really brings it together. New England Lobster Roll -- buttery, packed with lobster, and comes with fries + slaw. No complaints here. Had to end it with dessert since we were celebrating--went with the bread pudding this time instead of my usual butter cake. Honestly... no regrets. Warm, soft, rich, with that Jack Daniel's sauce and vanilla bean ice cream melting over the top. Yeah... it's a problem King's is always in my rotation when I'm craving seafood. We went here to celebrate my husband's birthday, and Jon was able to anticipate our needs before we realized we had them. Water was refilled before we even had to ask, spoons were brought over for our soup, table was cleared after each course, and he balanced being attentive without hovering or compromising our space. Truly, he made it such a memorable experience! The appetizers, sides, and desserts were underwhelming, unfortunately. The bread and butter were overly salty to our taste, and the citrus sauce for our sushi overpowered the delicate flavors of the fish. We had to send back the macaroni and cheese due to the imbalance of flavors in the cheese sauce (that may just be personal preference though). Jon handled that process very smoothly, so we were able to swiftly recover and return to enjoying our evening. Fortunately, the main entrees were incredible! We ordered the cooked salmon and cod, which were both delicious and paired beautifully with the sauces and garnishes. Well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, and fully comprehensive dishes! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I recognize some of the items we ordered are not what this place is known for, so order the lesser well known items at your own risk! We wish we ordered some of their more popular items such as the steak and lobster. Thank you Jon and Water Grill for the intentionality and care you put into our experience, you made my husband feel very special on his birthday!

Got to the restaurant about 30min ahead of my reservation but was able to be seated fairly quickly. While waiting to be seated, there is a nice waiting area with leather couches where one can relax and have a drink before dinner. To our surprise, when we were brought to our table, there was a Happy Anniversary card on the table with some rose pedals next to it. Definitely a nice personal touch! For appetizer, we ordered the iced shellfish platter (The Grand) and added a large channel island red sea urchin to share for two. The raw oysters, the half lobster tail/claw, and the sea urchin were just devine! And loved the variety of shellfish that came with the platter! For the entrees, I ordered the wild Alaskan Black Cod (soba noodle, green onions, spiced fish broth). The cod was perfectly cooked and the flavoring is well balanced with the slight spiciness of the fish broth. With the addition of the soba noodles, it's certainly a unique take on Asian fusion. For the Mrs, she ordered the Chilean Sea Bass (butternut squash gnocchi, sage brown butter). The sea bass was also perfectly cooked, the sage brown butter and the gnocchi were a good pairing with the fish. Another surprise came after our dinner, our waiter served us a pizookie-style desert as part of the our anniversary celebration! It was plenty of both of us to share, and it paired extremely well with a hot cup of pressed coffee! Great service overall! Our waiter Jaden was very attentive and came to check on us often to ensure everything is good. No complaints. Definitely will come back again when I'm in the area. Great value and highly recommended!
