Spicy porn & teriyaki chicken
james B.

This place is sort of like all the other teriyaki bowl places but way better. The small business touch to this common item in California is done so well with delicious sauce and really well prepared spicy pork and chicken that hits the mark. I recommend both the spicy pork and their chicken bowls. The price is on par with the quality and amount of food they pack in those Togo packages. I want to say this place is in my top three teriyaki bowl place

My partner & I went in last night for a quick meal on the way home. It was very fast service, the staff that was working were so polite and friendly. It's a small, tasty little place. Much better than flame broiler in my opinion. We both loved our food.

The food was delicious & the service was amazing. Ambiance was relaxing with a tv playing. They had a good drink and snack collection too. No public restrooms though.

Thank you so much to the team! We had a group of teens for a construction camp lunch and we took over the place so they were fueled before a jobsite walk! As always the food is great!

Food is good. Our family's favorites are the spicy pork bowl and the short rib plate. Service is awesome. They are always friendly. Place ambiance is simple almost giving out the small canteen vibe. A lot of workers come here to eat lunch or have items to go. You can always call in advance to order your food and it is usually cooked fast.

Amazing flavor from the chicken and pork. Friendly service. Small parking lot. They had a news channel playing on a T.V.. Owner was super friendly and happy that I stopped by. Chicken was tender, and teriyaki sauce had a nice sweetness to it that cuts through the chicken and pork really well. Rice was cooked well. Green onion was crisp. If I'm in the area, I would stop by again.

Hidden gem with generous food portions. The meat is expertly cut and cooked to perfection, always fresh. Their trio of sauces - two spicy options and a delightful teriyaki sauce - are simply divine. The staff is welcoming and efficient, with convenient parking available. A must-try spot for a satisfying lunch

Plate of rice spicy pork and beef. (Ignore the chicken on top....I took it off the other plate I had )

The place only serves a limited staple of Korean food but what they serve they do them so well that it's worth going just for that small menu. Over the years they expanded their menu but their staple imo is the galbi tang or beef bone soup. It comes with 2 pieces of large beef bones. The soup is delicious and is paired perfect with the mustard sauce. There are other delicious offering such as the thistle rice bowl. I'd say because of the limited menu everything is great. The parking lot can be packed especially in the weekend as all the church goes come by. Most of the clienteles are usually middle aged or older so you know they know what authentic Korean food is. The service is extremely efficient and very friendly. The place is clean just like most Korean restaurants. Nothing to complain about. Order the galbi tang and you'll be coming back.

My favorite dish was definitely the beef bibimbap. It was flavorful and delicious. I would absolutely come back if I'm in the area again for a satisfying meal :).

Man was I surprised by this one!…read more Dawa Kitchen is a delicious spot nestled in the corner of the plaza. FOOD: The Katsu Curry is easily the best deal on the menu for sharing. For $25 you get a huge chicken katsu with curry pairing. The katsu was crispy, hot, and fresh when it came out. Very tasty! The curry itself is good, but doesn't have the same punch of flavor as other curry katsu places. Still good though! This dish could definitely feed 2 people. We also opted for the Ddeokbokki. This dish had great flavor and the rice cakes were cooked perfectly! Just as a heads up, if you are used to Ddeokbokki having extra's like fish cake and cheese, this does not come with it unless added. Overall, for value and flavor this is great! PARKING: Parking is tight in the complex and I would recommend getting there early just in case there's none available. WAIT/AMBIANCE: This place was packed when we arrived with a clear waitlist of 5+ parties. Try to get on the Yelp waitlist ahead of time to make sure you get seated in a timely manner. You can also look to make a reservation as that was also faster for me! Overall ambiance is good, and the restaurant was playing some Justin Bieber! DRINKS: For a casual dining place we opted to get soju and a beer as it was $10 per bottle. Also not too bad of a deal to pair with your meal! Overall would recommend this place! Delicious and great value!

Cons: - everything was a bit sweet - the pork katsu was a bit bland as well as the mac salad side dish - the pork katsu sort of peeled away from the meat because of the heat of the dish overall: - great service, big portions, would visit again! just beware if you want a spicer version of these dishes and a stronger taste. the katsu could have been a bit crisper as well, I think the bibimbap was done very well. the dishes are served in a stone plate keeping them hot through the meal

There's several combo options as well as other kinds of meat. The food came with banchan which was freely replenished and two kinds of soup. The meats were first class and the aged pork was sooo flavorful. I've never had pork jowl before and it was deliciously fatty. Our hosts ordered the cheese risotto- at first it sounded kinda strange to have it in a Korean Bbq place but wow!! It was so good. You MUST order this! The meat is cooked for you by the staff which is a nice touch and my clothes didn't get smoky. They must have good fan and ventilation. The staff was very nice despite the place being super busy. Recommend this place for quality Korean bbq!

First samgyeopsal spot I've tried in the US and Sookdal really did a great job…read more Sookdal focuses heavily on pork, and you can tell that's their specialty, though they also offer some beef options. The menu is set up with different sets you can choose from, each giving you a variety of cuts. Once you order, the servers handle the grilling for you, which makes the whole experience super smooth and relaxed. What stood out most to me was the huge selection of banchan (sides) and sauces they bring out. It's not just a side detail - it genuinely elevates the meal. You can mix and match different sauces and sides with each bite of pork or beef, which keeps every bite feeling different and prevents the meal from getting repetitive. That's especially important with kbbq, where things can sometimes start to taste the same halfway through. Special note: order the risotto - phenomenal.
