J. Sushi is an excellent casual place to eat for lunch. I had the salmon on crunchy roll, veggie roll, Baby Pacific Roll- baked crawfish roll on California roll, and edamame. All of the rolls were very fresh, and the rice was perfect. The SALMON ON CRUNCHY ROLL was the best. The salmon was fresh and melted in my mouth. I can't remember what was in the veggie roll, but it was just as good as the others. The edamame was good and it was a huge portion! Service was great and attentive, and the staff filled up our waters. The only thing about this place is it gets busy, so make sure you come when they open to beat the lunch rush. Happy eating! Visited this place after an appointment across the street & it was just ok. It's located in a plaza with other restaurants so parking can be tricky. Ambiance is a casual sushi restaurant that offers Coca Cola drink products. I arrived a little after 1pm on a Friday and was seated quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was good, didn't feel rushed or pressured. Waitress was attentive and kind. During my time there, I did notice many people coming in for pick up orders. I ordered 2 rolls, the Las Vegas Roll and the Rainbow on a crunchy roll. Decent pricing for the quality of sushi you get. Personally, the seaweed in the rolls was too soggy which made it difficult to eat & didn't make the rolls all too enjoyable. The fish seemed fresh but the tempura shrimp was not crispy. My review is based on just the two rolls I tried. Maybe some of their other dishes are better. I'd come back to try other items but I wouldn't call this my go to sushi spot. read more

I've ordered takeout a few times. I've tried Power of Sea and Iron Monkey Roll. Both were delicious and tasty and filling. I recently had The Las Vegas role and the Tonkotsu Ramen. The Las Vegas roll wasn't bad. But the ramen could have been better. But I shouldn't be surprised. You get what you pay for. But I was still hoping the ramen would have been better than my expectations. The toppings were tasty. The noodles were okay. But the broth tasted a little better than a can of soup. I've had better ramen with tastier broth at other establishments. This broth tasted slightly better than old soup from a can. I could not finish it. I will not get the ramen again. Ordered the Power of the Sea Roll ($13.50) and Rainbow on Crunch ($11.50) via Postmates. The sea roll had spicy fried unagi and spicy tuna on a crunchy roll, which was pretty filling for five pieces. Each piece had a portion of tender unagi and tuna while the crunchy roll provided the texture. The rainbow roll had salmon, red snapper, tuna, avocado, & shrimp on a crunch roll. There were also five pieces, which had uneven portions of the aforementioned protein. When I used to live near this place, I would go there at least three times a week. I am absolutely in love with that place. My only problem is the price is went high. I understand during Covid but now I don't understand why they had to stay this high and get higher. I used to be able to feed my family for 30 bucks now I can barely feed myself. I still love the food. I just I'm sad that the price is doubled since I've been gone. I would still recommend this place to anybody because their food is amazing and they make it right in front of you with a smile too not like some of those places where the cooks stare at you like you kicked their puppy last week. Wow! Reddit highly recommended J Sushi so we headed over Friday night around 7:30 and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Garlic Edamame: Delicious with perfect amount of garlic Fried Cali Roll: Such an amazing roll, definitely my favorite, and fried to perfection. Hot Night Roll: Spicy Tuna on top of crunchy roll and was one of my favorites Hot Dog Crab Roll: looked really good, but was overly filled with spicy mayo and was just too much Service was great, the women who helped us were very nice and everything was out to us pretty quick for how full it was inside. Inside had some chill music playing and just felt comfortable and cozy. Really was stuck between 3 and 4 stars, so to start, the bad news first.. I gave them 4 because they did fix it and were very kind about it. My husband notified our waiter that I had a shellfish allergy. Just in case. Nothing we ordered had shellfish or even imitation crab in it my husband won't eat anything with it around me either. Then they brought a roll to me that had a shrimp in the middle and I couldn't see it because it was fried and had flakes on top. Thankfully my husband tried it first and he said "wait don't eat this", there was a small piece of shrimp shell he picked out of his mouth. Thankfully he was able to warn me. This could have been a horribly unpleasant encounter for me. They did bring me a new and shellfish free roll which I am thankful for. The rest of the sushi here was delicious. Eel sauce and spicy mayo were on point. The spicy tuna was fresh and delicious. The gyoza was one of the best I've ever had. They had a perfect mix of meat, green onions and spices. And a ponzu that is perfection. Really, the food here was great and what could have been disastrous for me was avoided thanks to my lovely husband and fixed by the waitress as soon as it was caught and explained. read more

Our server was very timid, but it didn't come off as sweet and innocent, she seemed more dismissive and had horrible customer service. When my dad's food came out, a fly flew out of his bowl.
