Very generous with their portions which is AWESOME! Quick and friendly service. High quality fish and variety of toppings!

Small hole in the wall place located in a semi-busy plaza. This place is more of a to-go since seating is limited. Their prices are great! I ended up getting a large but the large bowl looked more of a medium to me - fish scoops were small (even though it's 5 scoops of fish). Fish was fresh and cold. Brown rice was good. I like supporting small businesses! Come here if you can for poke!

Decided to come here for a poke bowl after seeing such great reviews. The pricing here is amazing. 5 proteins for $15 is a steal! the portions were good as well. I am only bummed that there is not a lot of sauce and topping options. I would have loved ponzu sauce and some edamame. The food itself was great. Rice and fish were obviously fresh. Service was fast. The place is a little small which is okay, but gives an awkward space between another customer and I. Would def come back!

We got two margaritas, the Serrano ahi pike, sticky ribs, cod taco, and steak taco from the aloha hour menu. The margaritas were delicious and not too sugary. All the food items had decent portions. My favorite was the cod taco. It was saucy and well battered. The sticky ribs were on the salty side and kinda chewy. Zero complaints about the other items tho.

Everything we had, though, seemed to have a "day old "quality to it The tuna on the poke bowl had a bit of a slime/stickiness to it.. instead of a sharp fresh quality. The crudo.. same thing. Also. It was covered in a mango sauce.. you couldn't even make out the slices of fish .. so you couldn't appreciate the texture through the thickish sauce The mixed platter had an unappetizing coleslaw that seemed well past its prime. The sweet potato fries and dipping sauce were the highlight of the tray. The batter on the fried fish was still undercooked, so it was wet and gooey underneath and just fell off the fish. The calamari was overcooked. The crabcake, though, had the best flavor and was the second best thing on the tray If I'm in the area,, I might give it another shot. But prolly not. For two non alcoholic drinks, mixed fries platter, crudo appetizer, and a ahi poke bowl.. we dropped $100 Worth it? Nope

In Orange County even the best Persian restaurants rarely take the time to do this, so we were pleasantly amazed. This is perhaps one of two places in Orange County where we found they actually are taking the time and effort to do this. Another person in our party had the fish and chips and he said it was absolutely amazing also. I had the poke bowl and it was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They are much more than a fish restaurant as I mentioned and I expect the rest of the menu is prepared with the same care and attention. I'm sure a visit will be worth your time.

We've tried several but have been disappointed,,,,until now. An extensive menu led us to believe this place isn't sure what they want to be. Fish Grill? But there's all kinds of meat. Whatever, we gave them a shot at the lobster roll ($29.95) and it exceeded expectations. NOTE: it's considered "seasonal" so get there sooner than later, although one associate was optimistic that the lobster roll may land as a permanent item on their already crowded menu. They also serve wine at very reasonable prices. This is now or top shelf "go-to" for a lobster roll.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!

I loved all the fun, sea-themed decorations. The restaurant itself is really nice and new and clean and cute! My husband and I ordered Spicy Crispy Chicken and a Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl. First, the positives. The fries were so good! Great flavor, extra crispy, fluffy on the inside. A textbook perfect fry! The spicy crispy chicken was pretty good too. Moist, crunchy, and actually spicy! It was done well. The Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice Bowl was where it went south. The shrimp was cooked well, but the sauce was not. I think the garlic was cooked too dark/burnt as the sauce was really bitter. I think the sauce was also overseasoned as it was very salty. I thought the lemon might balance the sauce out but the sauce was overwhelming. I ended up not eating much of the sauce as it was just too much. The service was okay! You order on a kiosk. The food took a little wait to come out as well. Also the spicy chicken said it came with spicy aioli but it didn't come with any. When we asked the server, she said you had to order it. But she gave it to us anyway! Overall, I think they just messed up my sauce! Everything else was good.
