Went to Poke District yesterday since I was already in the plaza, and as usual, my food was great and left me feeling super satisfied! What I love most about Poke District is the quality of everything. From the poke to the rice, everything is consistently fresh without being overly expensive. I always get the build-your-own bowl with salmon, white rice and the Hot Lava flavor. One thing I really like is that they mix the flavor directly into the poke rather than simply drizzling the sauce on top, which is a major plus for me. They're also super accommodating with modifications. I don't really like seaweed salad, so I always ask for it to be replaced with an extra scoop of crab meat instead! I've also seen some reviews complaining about the kiosk and people not liking it. The kiosk is simply an additional option, so if you don't want to use it, you don't have to. I honestly didn't even notice it at first and just ordered my meal with one of the staff members as usual. Poke District is always super quick, never taking more than five minutes to prepare my bowl. They also make sure your bowl is prepared exactly how you want it before packing it up, which I really appreciate. Always looking for a good spot that serves poke-- glad that I came across this spot. Upon walking in, service was great. The worker was welcoming and offered to answer any questions. Plenty of tables available for dine in and restroom is available if needed. I ended up ordering through the kiosk and got the build your own with salmon, white rice, and original flavor. I like how it comes with imitation crab meat, cucumbers, salad, and a generous portion of furikake on top. The salmon is pretty fresh-- better than other poke spots in OC but can't compare to Hawaiian Fresh Seafood in San Diego and of course the poke in Hawaii. Not at all a bad place for a more traditional styled poke plate. The interior was fairly clean and decorated with nice Hawaiian style wall decals and there was plenty of seating, considering my party dropped by during lunch time. I liked their kiosk ordering system, especially since the device is set up in a way that makes ordering easy and efficient. It's also nice to see all the available options and be able to take my time scrolling through the kiosk at my own leisurely pace! Even with the kiosks, the workers are very helpful and engaged if you need anything. There are also lots of different fun and unique sauces that you can select for your fish, like their "avocado aioli" and their "Godzilla" sauce! Along with canned sodas and celsius, they also sell several flavors of Hawaiian Sun juice- which also makes the experience more fun and gives a more authentic Hawaiian feel. The food wasn't at all bad. My build your own bowl had furikake rice, cucumber slices, seaweed salad, imitation crab, and my poke (which I customized and adjusted to my preference) while my friend--who doesn't like poke--got a bowl without any fish. The fish wasn't the freshest and the portion felt a little underwhelming for the price, but I still felt fairly satisfied with my meal and experience. I haven't had poke in a long time, so I'm happy I got to try Poke District! I was blown away by how fresh the salmon was and it was paired beautifully with the creamy spicy mayo, which had more of a kick than I thought! Okay, this place is SO good. The portion sizes are perfect. I love how you can get half-and-half tuna and salmon, AND half-and-half salad & rice! Also you can ask for other sauces on the side which I really appreciated because I definitely wanted to try the avocado aioli but didn't want to commit to it (but it ended up being amazing!). Stopped by Poke District in Orange and overall it was decent. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking which is always a plus around here. Inside was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating. The fish tasted fresh and the tuna and salmon were really good. My only issue was the lack of protein options compared to a lot of other poke places. If you're mainly a tuna and salmon person, you'll probably be happy here, but sometimes I like having a little more variety in my bowl. Not the biggest fan of the kiosk ordering either. I'm more of a people person and would rather order from someone than try to build everything on a tablet. It also felt a little limiting when trying to customize the bowl exactly how I wanted. Been a few years since I've been back and am reminded on how delicious and fresh the fish is here. The customer service was great! Very friendly and accommodating. They corrected a mistake with my order without hesitation. Very laid back atmosphere. Came in on 9/10/26 around 6:30pm. Super busy. They ran out of the bowls and had to pack everything separate in plastic containers. I got home and opened my rice and it looked like they poured half a bottle of the green seaweed furikake stuff on top of it. I tried getting rid of it but it was still super salty. If you accidentally poured too much, why would you proceed to serve it? I get youre busy but not acceptable. I have always loved this place. We used to come here on a weekly basis. It's been a while since I've been back and won't be returning. They have extremely high prices now and they put the fish on top of a MASSIVE pile of seaweed salad to make it look like there's more fish in the container. Total rip off. It's been six years since I've made a review, and it's not because I haven't been back. I've been here very often and it never occurred to me that I haven't updated my review. Here's my update! Since my review six years ago, I've stopped by multiple times a year for food here. I've always built my own bowl with salmon as my protein, the Jay-o-Lee sauce, no salad, white rice, and plenty of onions. My rice always comes hot and the portions are always very generous. The sauce is delicious as it was always, and nothing ever changes. This business has changed by being more technologically advanced. They've inserted a kiosk for quick orders so the workers can focus on making the bowls instead. You can also order online for pickup, but the catch is, you can't earn points with your phone number unless you order in store. The inside is simple and modern. There are numerous tables and chairs for you to sit and quickly eat your bowl. There's free water, sauces, and your choice of forks or chopsticks. This place never disappoints me and always pulls me back. I will hold back from eating poke elsewhere to save my appetite for here. Thank you for always being good to me! read more

Sometimes the service is a little slow one there is one person working, but for the most part, it is a great place to get your poke fix fast. My girlfriend and I come here pretty regularly after working out at the gym next door, so this isn't based on a one-time visit. We both usually order the same thing every time she gets the salmon plate and I get the tuna and we've always enjoyed it enough to keep coming back. Today we noticed there was an option to add extra fish for $2.50, so we both paid for it. We also selected extra green onions, which is one of the free toppings they offer. When we got our food, it was immediately obvious that nothing was different. There wasn't any extra fish compared to what we normally receive, meaning we paid an extra $5 total for something we never got. On top of that, there were no green onions at all, despite specifically requesting extra. Mistakes happen, but it's frustrating to pay extra for add-ons that aren't included, especially when you're a returning customer. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable just the order we paid for. It could have been good for our first visit but they apparently ran out of bowls (how?) and were assembling all the dishes into myriad 8oz plastic containers. This made it take over 25 minutes to even get the two bowls we ordered without any prior explanation. But since we had planned to dine in, it made it awkward to eat essentially deconstructed poke bowls from the various little containers. While the poor employees apologized at the back end, and it's not their fault, the meal was basically ruined. At 16.50 a pop, this was an expensive diy meal kit. I guess the poke itself was good but hard to fairly review given how bad the experience was.
