Still one of my fave poke spots in OC for authentic poke!!! I haven't been here in a hot minute but love to see that they're pretty affordable at around $17-18 (tax included) for building your own bowl. My go-to order is half brown rice/half salad, half salmon/half tuna, all the toppings, and spicy mayo sauce. They're kinda outta the way for me, so I don't visit often :-( wish they were closer!
Pretty decent poke spot with a different take on a build your own bowl with various components. I got the salmon and tuna with Godzilla (avocado aioli). Not much flavor besides the avocado taste so I had to add a little bit of unagi sauce and sriracha on the side. The crab salad was a bit too peppery for my taste. The cucumber salad had a nice wasabi dressing that complimented the fish. The brown rice and seaweed salad were standard. Not bad but next time I'll probably try the original sauce since they told me that's the most popular option.
Always looking for a good spot that serves poke-- glad that I came across this spot. Upon walking in, service was great. The worker was welcoming and offered to answer any questions. Plenty of tables available for dine in and restroom is available if needed. I ended up ordering through the kiosk and got the build your own with salmon, white rice, and original flavor. I like how it comes with imitation crab meat, cucumbers, salad, and a generous portion of furikake on top. The salmon is pretty fresh-- better than other poke spots in OC but can't compare to Hawaiian Fresh Seafood in San Diego and of course the poke in Hawaii. Would come back if in the area and do recommend!
Not at all a bad place for a more traditional styled poke plate. The interior was fairly clean and decorated with nice Hawaiian style wall decals and there was plenty of seating, considering my party dropped by during lunch time. I liked their kiosk ordering system, especially since the device is set up in a way that makes ordering easy and efficient. It's also nice to see all the available options and be able to take my time scrolling through the kiosk at my own leisurely pace! Even with the kiosks, the workers are very helpful and engaged if you need anything. There are also lots of different fun and unique sauces that you can select for your fish, like their "avocado aioli" and their "Godzilla" sauce! Along with canned sodas and celsius, they also sell several flavors of Hawaiian Sun juice- which also makes the experience more fun and gives a more authentic Hawaiian feel. The food wasn't at all bad. My build your own bowl had furikake rice, cucumber slices, seaweed salad, imitation crab, and my poke (which I customized and adjusted to my preference) while my friend--who doesn't like poke--got a bowl without any fish. The fish wasn't the freshest and the portion felt a little underwhelming for the price, but I still felt fairly satisfied with my meal and experience. It's definitely worth a try if you are in the area and want to try Hawaiian poke!
I haven't had poke in a long time, so I'm happy I got to try Poke District! I was blown away by how fresh the salmon was and it was paired beautifully with the creamy spicy mayo, which had more of a kick than I thought! You get an option of white or brown rice (or both), along with seaweed salad, cucumbers and imitation crab! This place is also so unique because you can buy the salmon or the tuna separately! Perfect for if you want to eat it with rice at home! The service was amazing and they even showed us our order before giving it to us to make sure everything was correct. It was pretty crowded when I went during lunchtime and the space is actually quite big to sit down and enjoy your food. Come here for the freshest poke!
Okay, this place is SO good. The portion sizes are perfect. I love how you can get half-and-half tuna and salmon, AND half-and-half salad & rice! Also you can ask for other sauces on the side which I really appreciated because I definitely wanted to try the avocado aioli but didn't want to commit to it (but it ended up being amazing!). The service is quick and you can either order at the cashier or the kiosk. The bowl comes with crab and seaweed salad so it's actually really filling even though it looks unassuming. Definitely recommend!
So yummy! I love how they have salad on the side to pair with the rice and poke. Even though the kiosk says you can only get one sauce you can ask for some on the side to be able to try other sauces that they have. My friends and I beat the dinner rush, but they were still really fast with the huge line that they had! Highly recommend if you're a poke lover such as myself!

One of my favorite poke spots to eat at with the entire family! Portions are always very generous and their flavors offered are delicious! Very friendly workers and the place is clean. Highly recommend coming here if you love poke!
Stopped by Poke District in Orange and overall it was decent. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking which is always a plus around here. Inside was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating. The fish tasted fresh and the tuna and salmon were really good. My only issue was the lack of protein options compared to a lot of other poke places. If you're mainly a tuna and salmon person, you'll probably be happy here, but sometimes I like having a little more variety in my bowl. Not the biggest fan of the kiosk ordering either. I'm more of a people person and would rather order from someone than try to build everything on a tablet. It also felt a little limiting when trying to customize the bowl exactly how I wanted. Not a bad spot by any means, just didn't fully hit for me personally.
Been a few years since I've been back and am reminded on how delicious and fresh the fish is here. The customer service was great! Very friendly and accommodating. They corrected a mistake with my order without hesitation. Very laid back atmosphere. It did take a little over 15 mins to receive my order, but that must be the norm since there were constant customers still coming in while others were waiting for their orders to be completed. Will be back soon!
First time back in a few years. Easy parking for a weekday lunch. The build your own tuna bowl I had was tasty, fresh, and filling. The only downside was the wait - we used the kiosk to place our order and it took over 15 mins to get our 3 bowls.
It's been six years since I've made a review, and it's not because I haven't been back. I've been here very often and it never occurred to me that I haven't updated my review. Here's my update! Since my review six years ago, I've stopped by multiple times a year for food here. I've always built my own bowl with salmon as my protein, the Jay-o-Lee sauce, no salad, white rice, and plenty of onions. My rice always comes hot and the portions are always very generous. The sauce is delicious as it was always, and nothing ever changes. This business has changed by being more technologically advanced. They've inserted a kiosk for quick orders so the workers can focus on making the bowls instead. You can also order online for pickup, but the catch is, you can't earn points with your phone number unless you order in store. The inside is simple and modern. There are numerous tables and chairs for you to sit and quickly eat your bowl. There's free water, sauces, and your choice of forks or chopsticks. This place never disappoints me and always pulls me back. I will hold back from eating poke elsewhere to save my appetite for here. Thank you for always being good to me!

Came in for the first time yesterday. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Food was bomb, service was nice, and I liked that you can order on an iPad and customize your food. Water and utensils are self-serve. Downside was that I ordered a Hapa Bowl that I'm pretty sure was supposed to come with avocado, but mine didn't have any. I did not realize until today when I was looking at my receipt that had the description of what was supposed to be in the bowl and it said "avocado" and I was like "what". Lowkey pretty sad I didn't get my avo in my bowl ;( read more

If you're looking for good poke for a great price, check out poke district! I ordered a salmon bowl with half brown rice/half cucumber, original sauce (sweet soy), lava (sriracha) on the side and added avocado. The bowl itself came with seaweed salad, imitation crab, and furikake! The salmon was very soft and I was surprised how big the portion was. I loved how fresh the avocado was too, it added a nice creamy texture to the bowl. The only thing that's missing for me is a bit of sesame oil, but that's just personal preference. Poke District has extremely fresh and delicious Hawaiian style poke. You must go. I'm thrilled to have discovered this as a local spot because it's better than anything else around town. The menu is straight and to the point, no fuss no frills. Ordered the half / half tuna and salmon option with the lava sauce and half / half salad and white rice ($15.30). Despite it being busy, food was out pretty quickly and wow!! Warm well-seasoned rice, melt in your mouth rich fish, spicy sauce, and fresh salad all came together to make the perfect plate. Writing this review is making me crave another plate. I will undoubtedly be back AND will tell my friends to tell their friends about this spot. read more

I came here for lunch for take out. I got the salmon bowl with rice and salad. You get to pick one sauce only for the fish and get more on the side. I got original and spicy mayo on the side. Original didn't have much taste to it, the spicy mayo was better. Fish was fresh and love the furikake on the rice. Service was quick and lots of seating inside for dine in. read more

I tried the hot lava sauce and it ended up being too spicy, but I'll definitely be back to try other flavors. The bowls are customizable but not like other places where you pick everything. A lil different than my normal poke endeavors but more traditional Hawaiian...so I was told. Only 1 size bowl & only salmon & tuna as proteins. I don't think the house sauce has enough flavor for me. I was hunting for Hawaiian Style Poke for a minute around SoCal since it had been a minute since visiting and stumbled across this GEM on Yelp - definitely lived up to its rating with how fresh their fish selections were along with the beautiful rice that all came together along with the sauces. They're quick to serve it all and it's a no frills spot to sit down and enjoy if needed. Will be back and might have to start grabbing poke by the pound now! read more

I got the wasabilious half tuna & half salmon plate with half salad & half rice. They have a kiosk to order if the workers are too busy but they were patient enough to answer my questions since it was my first visit. The kiosk had the option to get extra green onions & furikake for free! The wasabi was actually not overpowering but enough to enjoy it slathered throughout the fish. I was happy that the plate already included crab meat too. The portion of the plate was pretty filling despite it's looks. I would come back again to try the other sauces. read more

In short, a bit more minimal but authentic Hawaiian poke spot, with quality ingredients. I've been eating poke for years, and just had a chance to try this spot. My regular spot in this area closed down and turned into a sushi bar, but I saw this one while searching for nearby poke, and the Yelp reviews were great, so why not? So I'm a bit used to poke spots where you pick between up to 6-8 proteins, from tuna and salmon to things like octopus, scallops, etc. and a ton of different toppings like edamame, nuts, and even crushed Cheetos. This place is a bit more minimal, but what it does have, it does well. Your main options are limited to tuna and salmon, with crabmeat, cucumbers, seaweed salad, furikake seasonings on your choice of white/brown rice or salad, and of course a variety of sauces. Instead of coming in a bowl where you're expected to mash and mix it all together, it's a bit deconstructed and all the ingredients are next to each other - though after tasting everything separately I still decided to mix it all together. The quality of both the tuna and salmon were excellent, as were the other ingredients. I have a tolerance for heat, so I tried the lava sauce, and it certainly had a kick to it! The Build Your Own was deceptively filling, and i was satisfied when I finished it. Overall, I was on the fence about giving this 4 stars instead of 5 just because the limited options, but Poke District is unapologetic about what it serves, and does it well. Mahalo! read more

one of the best poke shops in oc for price, taste and quality. ordering is simple through the kiosk, a build your own bowl includes everything you need and want in a poke bowl! the salmon is always so fresh, i love that the cuts are big. it may not look like it at first glance, but the fish portion is very generous! food comes out quick and there's a good amount of seating inside as well. the seasoning on the rice is such a nice touch. the best word to describe poke district is fresh. i can't wait to come back!! read more
Really good Hawaiian-style poke. Literally saw them cutting huge slabs of fish in the back. Rice came out warm. Safe so say everything is super fresh! It comes with your choice of fish, rice w furikake, cucumber and leafy greens salad with rlly good sesame oil vinigerrete, imitation crab, and seaweed salad. Easy, casual place to stop by for lunch and everything comes in take-out containers so it is easy to take leftoevers as well. The service was a little bit slower than your typical OC poke place, but likely bc they are cutting the fish fresh in the back! read more

I've had this spot saved for years, but never visited since it's a little out of the way. Well, I finally stopped by and am so glad I did! It's a casual spot where you walk in and order on a tablet. The staff was friendly and available for questions. I got the half & half bowl with original sauce and subbed the seaweed salad for an extra scoop of imitation crab. Sooo good. The fish is fresh and the sauce is balanced and not overly salty. They only have 2 options for fish - tuna and salmon, but they do it well. I would rather have good fish compared to more options and mediocre fish!! Good sized portions for the price too, which is always a plus! The only thing I would change about this bowl is less sauce for the salad, but I'm definitely going to come back the next time I'm craving poke. read more

1. Ambiance and Environment Poke District's aesthetic is very reminiscent of poke shops that you would see in the somewhat tourist-heavy areas of Hawaii. Plenty of seating is available indoors and the interior is very well-lit. The cashier and counter are towards te back of the establishment, so you'll have to walk past the tables to order and get your food. 2. Food and Drinks I wasn't able to get a picture, but I ordered a build-your-own bowl with half-salmon and half-tuna. I also got it with white rice and creamy aioli. My friend that I was with ordered the same thing, with the hot lava sauce instead of the aioli. The quality of the food was amazing, and it was extremely delicious. The fish didn't smell or taste fishy, which was great. The rice portion is pretty generous compared to other poke spots like PokiNometry. 3. Service Staff members were very friendly and extremely welcoming. My friend and I didn't come in during rush hour, but you could still the staff hustling to get orders fulfilled. Their work ethic was great! Combined with their friendly attitude, I would say that Poke District has really great service. 4. Pricing Pricing here for the poke can be considered slightly more expensive compared to other poke places. However, the quality and taste here can be considered superior to other poke places. The price and taste pairing here at Poke District makes it an extremely competitive poke spot, and I'm definitely willing to spend a little bit more money than usual knowing that the raw fish I'm eating is handled and seasoned well. 5. Restroom I didn't end up using the restroom during my visit. I do know, however, it's towards the back of the store. 6. Parking The parking is shared between Poke District and a couple of other establishments in the same plaza. Finding parking wasn't too tough to find during the ours of 12pm to 2pm, but you may have to walk a bit between the store and your car since it does get busy. read more

Top 3 poke spots I've been to in SoCal. There's Ali'i fish co. , north shore poke and this place. They give you so much food here though. Filled me up. There's so much going on with the seaweed salad, fake crab, cucumber, hefty amount of rice with Furikake on top. I added avocado and a bag of jalapeño chips just to make it a party. Got 1 hot lava ahi and the spicy mayo. Both are amazing. Fish taste super fresh. It was empty when I came which is odd. A place this good should be packed all the time!! read more

If you love traditional poke, this is one of my favorite places near Disneyland. I got the traditional sweet poke and with the rice? Amazingly good. The portion was also really well done because goodness I'm so full. The other one is spicy and if you're into spices, that's the one for you. The service is fast, they're polite, it's a good place to get food! As for ambiance, they have ample parking, well lit interior and great music! Def must go must try read more
Came here on a whim and omg, I will definitely be returning. Lucky directions too me to this place because I never would have noticed it otherwise. This place is interesting and best described as "simple". I was expecting a Poke Bar style with several options (ie: tuna, salmon, white fish, spicy tuna, salmon in marinades, etc), but it was so much simpler than that. There are only 2 proteins tuna & salmon. You can do 1/2 and 1/2. 3 base options of white rice, brown rice, or salad w/cucumbers. The, you choose your sauce. There were 5 options. That's it! It was nice to not have a ton of options. For just over $15, the amount of food you get it fantastic! This is one of the freshest Poke places i've tried.
