Salmon and Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl
    Carena K.

This poke bowl was one of the best I've had! Not sure how this place doesn't have many reviews! It is a bit more pricey but not terrible and worth it! The flavors go together so well and the ingredients are very fresh! Also looks super presentable which a nice touch! :)

How does this place not have more reviews? It's so good! I found it through DoorDash, and while it costs slightly more for what you get vs other poke places, the presentation and the flavor more than make up for it. The fish is fresh and they don't skimp on the sauces. 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

We basically entered our own order to build our own poke bowls on their POS tablet but that didn't bother us.

You get an option of white or brown rice (or both), along with seaweed salad, cucumbers and imitation crab! This place is also so unique because you can buy the salmon or the tuna separately! Perfect for if you want to eat it with rice at home! The service was amazing and they even showed us our order before giving it to us to make sure everything was correct. We both usually order the same thing every time she gets the salmon plate and I get the tuna and we've always enjoyed it enough to keep coming back. Today we noticed there was an option to add extra fish for $2.50, so we both paid for it. We also selected extra green onions, which is one of the free toppings they offer. When we got our food, it was immediately obvious that nothing was different. There wasn't any extra fish compared to what we normally receive, meaning we paid an extra $5 total for something we never got. On top of that, there were no green onions at all, despite specifically requesting extra. Mistakes happen, but it's frustrating to pay extra for add-ons that aren't included, especially when you're a returning customer. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable just the order we paid for. Hopefully they pay more attention to customizations in the future because this experience definitely left us disappointed and questioning if we want to continue coming back..

He specifically requested this place As a mom, I was honestly shocked -- he's been a picky eater since he was little, so finding something he actually loves is rare. Of course we had to try it‼ It was my first time trying a poke bowl, and the ordering style is similar to Chipotle. I chose a medium bowl for $15.5, which included 3 choices of fish. Since I'm doing keto, I picked salad as the base, with salmon, tuna, and shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. Their Japanese tofu soup was only $2.5 with unlimited refills, which felt like a great deal too. Honestly, I've passed by this place so many times before because it looks pretty low-key from the outside... but thanks to my picky eater leading the way, we accidentally discovered a hidden gem.

Their service tuna quality is also a little different and seems to be lower quality tuna. Their service has also been declining but tonight was the worst, especially the young lady that was working at 8 pm, Wednesday night on 7/29/26. She tried to stretch one scoop of salad into two medium salads. When I asked if she had more salad, she showed typical teen age attitude and she finally relented and asked for more salad. When she scooped the tuna, half of it didn't make it into the bowl and when I asked if she could add some tuna, she gave more attitude. She offered to take some tuna from the first bowl to add to the second bowl. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she should just get a different job...she's certainly not made for this one. Let's hope this is an off day for Pokinometry and their than quality and service improves.

Some of the toppings that used to be included at no extra charge now cost extra. While my bowl was being made, the employee scooped my protein, then put some of it back from my mixing bowl. When I got home and opened my bowl, I was surprised by how little protein I received. There were only seven small cubes of salmon. The portions and overall value have definitely gone downhill compared to how they used to be. This used to be one of my favorite poke spots, but based on this experience, I'd rather spend my money somewhere else.

Like a lot of poke spots, there were times in the past where the fish portions felt... light. Tiny scoops, lots of rice, and you leave wishing you got what you paid for. That was my early experience, and it kept me from coming as often as I wanted. But something has definitely changed, and in the best way possible. Lately, every single visit has been stacked. I'm talking generous, heaping scoops of fish, perfectly balanced bowls, and portions that actually feel worth the price. You can see it while they're building your bowl, they're not skimping. It's consistent, too, which matters. Nothing worse than loving a spot one day and being disappointed the next. Quality is on point, everything tastes fresh, and the amount of food you get now is honestly impressive. I leave full every time, sometimes with leftovers, which never used to happen. If you haven't been in a while, go back. If portion size ever held you back before, I can confidently say: it's no longer an issue. The Poke Co is doing it right.

I always prefer building my own bowl, so I went with a salad base, two scoops of salmon, one scoop of octopus, and pretty much every topping except jalapeños. They have a great selection of toppings, making it easy to customize exactly what you're craving. One thing I really appreciated was the price. A regular bowl is only $15, which is noticeably less than my previous favorite poke spot, Poki Monster, where a similar bowl would cost me around $18. It's nice to find a place that delivers both quality and value. My only minor complaint is the ordering process. Customers have to fill out paper forms to build their bowls, which feels a bit unnecessary. I'd rather just tell the staff what I want instead of using extra paper for every order. Other than that, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely come back.

The chicken katsu was solid, not as crispy as I would like but I did take it to go so that factors into that. The teriyaki chicken was outstanding, perfect flavor, a slight sweet char taste where it was flame kissed, I would order this again and again! Their Mac salad is different from what you get from an Aloha or Ono, not as sweet and didn't have the tang but even with that I enjoyed it and would eat it again. The only thing I would skip next time is the musubi. While it was okay in flavor the ratio of rice to spam was so far skewed it didn't seem worth it.
